I bought some used traps some time ago and there were
some Blake & Lamb 1 jump
traps in the bottom of the box
that looked good, but the pans
were missing, and a dog on
one was gone. I finally took a
chance and ordered some pans for a modern made by
Victor #1 long spring, and they
fit and worked fine after minor adjustment.
The springs on those old B&L
jump traps are still pretty strong to be so old.
All my old Victor long spring traps still have fairly strong springs, so I guess they knew their business pretty well back then

I like tinkering around with the old traps. That’s half the fun for me. I bought two different people’s trap lines pretty cheap. Trap addiction I guess. Lol
