That’s going to be your signature chair. Maybe it’s the red that makes you look real important sitting in it. My favorite video so far dad. Before we know it Landon will be running around with you and you can teach him everything.
Just wait for that day sweet pea
😱
Do bear traps technically not count as Booby traps? 🪤
I like the way I kept going after the big fail as if I could still pull it out of the dumpster. And then finally realizing it’s done.
Neat!
Got this from Dale Billingsley. He has a great channel.
This was second fleshing after salting.
Been trying all of his baits out
Yeah iv made that before from watching NB WILDMAN works great cheap to make to.
Going to try catching a few mink this next seaseon, thanks for sharing this.
Thanks for the video going to try and catch a few mink this next season.
I bought some used traps some time ago and there were some Blake & Lamb 1 jump traps in the bottom of the box that looked good, but the pans were missing, and a dog on one was gone. I finally took a chance and ordered some pans for a modern made by Victor #1 long spring, and they fit and worked fine after minor adjustment. The springs on those old B&L jump traps are still pretty strong to be so old. All my old Victor long spring traps still have fairly strong springs, so I guess they knew their business pretty well back then Good Luck
I like tinkering around with the old traps. That’s half the fun for me. I bought two different people’s trap lines pretty cheap. Trap addiction I guess. Lol
Good ending for the end of the season.
The push side on my wiebe knife is sharper. Need to fix that.
It’s like watching paint dry. And there is a learning curve.
I like a long chain on my water traps, but I will probably shorten the the chain on my dedicated mink drowning set up. You catch a lot of coon In these sets. The short chain will help in drowning them.
I can attest to the strength of springs on that new 1 1/2 duke coil spring trap. 😂
It happens. You will be fine. Trust me.
Early spring scouting. Set up a few mock sets with cameras to see what was in area.
I would say this may have been a coon hole and a coyote came and dug it up. There was a lot of crawfish in the hole.
Clip the elastic cuff on those harbor freight gloves. Will go on a lot easier.
