- This is a song I wrote about the day I met Juli. The term "God and everyone" was something my dad used to say. Once at K-Mart in the 70s he was shopping for a shirt and got flustered and said loudly, "Do I have to change right here in front of God and everyone!?" I have held on to that line until now.
I have chosen to think it means:
Just go for it.
Have a blast.
Do your own thing.
And giving God a good laugh has always seemed like a fine goal.
