I lived in Detroit on whitehill six houses away from fire station and walk past that station and see the men sitting out front never gave it a second thought little did I know that that was calling I ended up being at the battalion chief station captain fire fighter paramedic over 40 years loved every minute of it sometimes that I could have done without it all in all if the good Lord didn't say hey it's time to leave the job I'd still be trying it but my health didn't allow it a lot of people don't know that at the time they still don't God bless all the firefighters paramedics males and females keep on trucking. Hopefully I'll be up there carrying the brick to build their concrete houses running the streets around the gate as long as there's fires enhancement calls and sick people will always be those firefighter paramedics that are ready to answer the call 24/7 365 those boys up in New York we're getting off shift and they heard the call and instead of going home to the wife and kids they gave their life for this country God bless them all amen
