Nice! The dialog between Mark's Pensa/Suhr MK1 and Paul Franklin's pedal steel is awesome. It's curious how many bust OES album, when it was the first time MK introduced this kind of feature (before it was monologue). Mark's solo starting at 3:30 is great, but when Paul is "unleashed" at 4:15 almost makes you cry. From then on, the Steels steals the show. Besides, the tone of the song portraits better than ever the sorow the storyteller shows

My dad used to listen to their songs every time we were on the road to some destination. It reminds me of empty fields seen from my back seat car window while thinking about who knows what. Also reminds me of the cheerful childhood games with my cousins, maybe because they used to live far away from my city and we drove a few hours to them. Missing a lot those days, nothing is the same anymore.
Mark is still underrated as a guitar player. It is his ability to come up with so many tasty and always different licks. It is astounding. There are so many players who can pick "better" and play much faster and all kinds of technical stuff but will never be able to come up with so many memorable licks and phrases.
What do you mean by that? He was ranked 27th on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, and I remember there was a time around the release of Brothers in Arms when he was even asked whether his was the greatest band in the world...
Seriously i very much doubt being able to play "better"Faster sure or maybe being able to do harder technical stuff but as this is music i doubt there are many people alive that could ever match his Performance and pure Genius in making amazing Music with his very own Sound and style from the Beggining.
