They need to design more cues that convey their style. Also their bracelets are underwhelming. It also wouldn't hurt to slim down the case sizes.

Gs watches punch WAY above their weight class. Just over 40k units per year produced. All hand built and hand finished like they used to do it. The second hands for all their watches are blued and bent (on their elegance watches) by one person. Their 9f quartz movements are all made and then decorated(decorated quartz?!) by 2 people. All their dials are made in house. Everything is done in house by skilled artisans and craftspeople. They essentially are “Patek” of Asia. Only rivaled by Credor which is a cousin studio.
Nice, unboxing. While you seem to give it an approval, you are comparing it to a Patek Philippe, which is probably 5 to 10 times the price. All Seiko lines (e.g. Prospex, Presage, GS etc.) have their quirkiness, including deployant clasps on the other side of the strap versus swiss watches. The issue with the GS is that it is so different than what you are used to wearing and it takes a good few weeks on the wrist to really appreciate its elegance and workmanship. The indices sparkle in both dim room, light and daylight. The dials are spectacular. The Zaratsu polishing simply cannot be matched by other brands. The multi faceted indices, and the hand polished hour and minute hands are really a thing of beauty. In so many of their pieces, they seem to strive for simple traditional Beauty meeting, super high technology. Also, an added plus is that very few people on the street know what it is. The only time you’ll get a comment is from a collector. Where this simple, elegant piece on your wrist for several weeks and avoid the temptation to put on your Rolex. After a while, you will be hooked and you will want this as a standard part of your rotation!
