I love the fact every time you drive the 350r its puts a smile on your face. That's what a lot of people don't know about the gt350, it just NEVER GETS OLD!! So worth thw money!
Cool breezes while enjoying the manual transmission and listening to the exhaust remind you of the power you wield (like an obedient dragon just waiting for your commands). If they eventually come out with a stick 500 I would definitely get that red with stripes.
Standard shifts are more fun but most the auto’s have become so good such as the duel clutch ones that they can be hard to beat. They keep the engines close to their max power bands and are good decelerating. I started out track racing with the older manual transmissions and an auto could touch them. But today’s autos just kick ass. By the way and color but black or red and you have both of them and a blue one. A nice bright color will show up on the track and LOL just might hurt the other drivers eyes so you can win. Thanks

I'm a ford man myself,test drove the gt350r was not to impressed for the price. Topped out at 160 mph broke the tires loose in 3rd at low revs. Nothing exciting for me other than the looks.
Most track drivers have two sets of wheels and tires. They also have serious paint protection, some thick clear bra, among other applications. Not hard to tell a tracked car from a garage queen if you look closely to the details.
I'm thinking about getting one to add not sure ...dealers already been calling me trying to pitch it lol love my 350R but i kinda agree with the guy you spoke about in the video not being a manual really pushes me away from it just feels wrong for it

There are no deals. I was looking at a private owner Black/white stripe 2017 GT350R with only 1700 miles. Technology package. Price was $69,950. The sad part is the owner didn't even break the car in. Considering a 2019 with technology package lists for $70,230. It seems the GT350R is maintaining it's value. By the way. Nothing sounds as wicked as a Shelby GT350 (R). Nice video.
Not sure where in SoCal you are but I see so many exotics on the streets here in L.A. that I've become a bit desensitized...four Veyron sightings in one year...Aventadors, Farraris, GT2 RS, Bentleys...on and on. It's a rolling exotic car show. That said, short of winning one I'm not wanting for any of them. I'm a true blue Mustang driver. Your GT 350R is awesome.

I did the shift tech X pipe without resonators And the car now sounds even that much better than stock. I had no complaints with the stock 350 sound but getting the resonators taken off takes it to the next level just like the 350R. Pure bliss. One of the best sounding American cars ever.

I just wonder why they decided not to boost the voodoo motor. A lot of shops on the Internet are pushing them over 1000 hp , just makes me think maybe it’s not that reliable. That’s why I think Ford went with a different motor for the GT500, otherwise financially it would make more sense just to boost the GT 350.
the mustang bad reputation stereotype became about because mustang is affordable horsepower to the masses and there is just more v8 mustangs on the road than any other muscle car build, its always a numbers game. so more v8 mustangs means more dumb asses driving them on the road compared to mopar or chevy or exotics. have you seen the price tag for a v8 option chevy camaro or dodge challenger? its way more than a v8 mustang.
GT Mustangs aren't cheap anymore. I bought a 2014 brand new in Aug 2014 and the sticker was $38k (6 Speed Premium) Now in a 2018 Camaro 1SS 6 Speed that I bought Certified Used with 3,600 miles for $33k

I just bought a 19gt pp1 only paid 35k had 24 mi on the clock. It's still an affordable v8 compared to dodge or Chevy long as someone not trying to get every option they have. Mine is base gt fastback with the performance pack and a 6 speed. Looks good and drives good
You cant buy the 2020 GT500 it is by letter only from Ford just like the GT and when you do get one you cant sell it with out Ford knowing about it. Just watched it on another channel that sucks not like I could buy one anyway.

Modern manuals are faster on a track than modern autos. I'm guessing that's why they went with a dual clutch.

The blue is definitely the best, and the gt4 style wing is basically mandatory

The DB level is measured at idle. Ford certified the car in all 50 states so the exhaust sound is legal.
