Ainsley Anderson I feel you but let’s be real here it’s definitely the black men he’s been around that have made him feel that brave. He probably never meant what he said he just wanted to fit in. The issue stems from black men putting down black women because it’s a “trend” or they’re self-hating

Him speaking Yoruba will benefit him more as white boy than it will his black friends who have to work hard to just get recognised. It’s more so about his privilege being white and how it’s off of black British males teaching him Yoruba that made his freestyle blow up. Whilst his friends will have to ‘grind’ and will not benefit off of using European languages.

TheMangocherry judging off the response from the majority, these points were vastly lost. An interviewer that claims to be impartial but is clearly subjective gets no ratings from me. This was a key moment to Touch on misogynoir, the myth of black inferiority and the coming age of anti-blackness and how this attitude May have impacted his past tweets. Instead, this whole interview was riddled with irrelevant questions such as why he spoke in Yoruba, keep in mind that this same woman also had a lot to say about African women back in the day...

Ur actually killing me, she is lost in the wilderness. Like people worship Hendrix who was a black man who dominated the rock realm, music is surely a form of art and expression where all folk and all creeds can gravitate towards without labels and barriers no? As a father of children whose mother is a black woman I feel after hearing her speak that due to the plundering and having their native land taken from them it has resulted in certain black folk being defensive and wanting to hold on to things yet deem as theirs and not letting individuals who visually represent the group of oppressors who took this from them. Thoughts? Love to all people ✌️

She can’t have an intellectual conversation at all. She lacks sense and is obviously very closed minded. This wasent even an interview, she is just clearly projecting her anger onto him. Despite the fact that his tweets were horrible and he had been bashed all over social media, she still somehow made this “ interview “ into a confrontation like a student and head of year. Not even the first time she’s done this, where was all this chat for Pastor Tobi? I just feel like she only attacks the people she knows won’t give it right back. And when she asked him why he was rapping in Yoruba and not in his own language I knew instantly she doesn’t have a clue about what she’s talking about. So if a black person raps in Spanish it’s wrong because he’s not from Spain? She’s beyond lost

Secondly, as an interviewer you should ask have some kind of neutrality and ask open/vague questions which will let the interviewee say what they have to say and do most of the talking; & that way we will really know what he's about and if he is remorseful. Also, she kept obsessing over the fact that he was speaking Yoruba, but like who cares if he was speaking Yoruba, people rap/sing/speak in different languages all the time. The main problem was that he has said incredibly racist stuff in his past.

You attacked him throughout the whole interview. If your going to tell Glizz to donate to black women in a charity then tell all the Black men who discriminate black women to do that aswell. I believe we need to pattern up our OWN Black community before coming for other races. It’s okay for Tion Wayne, Headie One to get away with this without no apology. But it’s not okay for a white guy to get away with this with an apology . Either way it’s not acceptable! The reason White people feel comfortable on making these racial comments towards black girls is because black guys discriminate black girls on Twitter every time.
