    Hello guys, we're iMiró!
    First of all, it's so sorry for the bent frame and the not working-well knob. We'll immediately search for the stronger and finer materials, strengthen the shipping buffer to reduce the accidents like this. Besides, a better shipping agency selection is also necessary. We'll try our best to make sure that every single product we present is perfect.
    As for the derailleur, the engineers recently keep working on it, we're looking forward to meeting the brand new bike as well.
    Lots of thanks for all your comments, we had read each line of them. All the advice gain from you guys would be a great help for us, and a better iMiró is on the corner as long as we realize each of them!
    Besides, talking about the bike in the video, we have already contacted Micah for the follow-up.
    At last, hope you do enjoy the video and keep loving Micah!
    Sincerely, iMiró team.

      I want to know how to make a fan powered 12 volt generator to charge One battery while I'm going on my ebike. I have a little knowledge of electricity and how to solder. Instead of carrying a big giant solar panel on a wagon you could hug the fans to your bike and if you are going it will charge I think. I don't think you want a giant fan I think you want small ones but I'm not a scientist I wish someone would help me it's something I really want to do. Instead of going about 50 MI at Full Throttle on my electric bike I could go 100 or more and not have to worry about where am I going to charge it I just bought another battery which is $400. So if I'm not careful and it's full throttle I can at least go 50 miles or maybe 40 because I will be packed down with camping gear in my wagon it's a really nice Cannondale wagon from the 90s that I used to carry my son's in before I got custody I used to pick them up in it

      @@LetArtsLive there is a new video featuring 9 amp solar charging with a high-voltage battery so he is getting half a kilowatt from the Sun. He can do this while he is in China of next year during the annual race that only allows solar recharging and solar powered bicycles. So he does not need the battery for other than the capacitor or the buffer unless he's going to be going up the very steep mountains. Crystal Light sponsored in one year providing the meters that prevent cheating but he has invested in 40% efficient panels that's how he can get so many watts. Your second question is the one that will be mock and derided but to reframe your question if you have in oblique headwinds but for variety of reasons you cannot use a sale Can you capture some of the inertial energy of that nitrogen oxygen Etc and converted to forward motion? Yes you can and that will cause your bicycle to accelerate without increasing the draw from the battery which is possibly patented and definitely had the patentable or still is. Wind is Big on sailboats but I think that you in fact have not been schooled against for petrol potions apparency I said perpetual motion not petrol potions LOL

    The fundamental design has a lot going for it, and if they work out the kinks and quality control it will be really solid. The ingenious "full suspension" is much lighter and less complex than traditional suspension, and the folding system seems stronger, more rigid and durable (while riding, anyway) than many folding designs. That rear derailleur has to go, though. Those wheels are just too small for a derailleur system. They could go to a front motor and use an internal hub gear system. If they do that and fix the folding latch, I'll be in line.

    • @awo1fman
      @awo1fman 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MasticinaAkicta Speedbumps won't hit the derailleur itself because it is completely within the circumference of the back wheel. The chain might drag, though. Won't hurt much short term, but might be a point of chain wear from picking up grit when it touches something. What concerns me more is that the derailleur might actually scrape on flat ground if you make a right turn at any speed. That could be very bad not only for the bike but for you if it catches and you take a nasty spill.

    • @awo1fman
      @awo1fman 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really like the fundamental design but it does need some work with the folding catch and the derailleur and chain hanging down in harm's way. It would be a good candidate for an internal hub transmission. That single spring suspension for both front and rear is really ingenious. It wouldn't be ideal off-road or at high speed but for this application buzzing around town it would be just about perfect and much lighter and simpler than a traditional full suspension. The folding system looks sturdy, rigid and durable as far as riding is concerned. This bike has serious potential with a bit more development and polish!

Then as you handle the different parts, you're saying that you don't know what it is more than half the time, but start trying to stick it somewhere before deciding, "I'll just come back to that". Then you toss it in the grass and reach for the next mystery item. I'm thinking, "Didn't he say he'd never seen a bike like this?" You tear a parts bag open, parts fall in grass, almost damage bike. I'm yelling at my screen, "STOP! Just stop! Look at the instructions!" Then you grab the battery and start jamming, beating, banging, hammering. What? You don't even have any tools?Now I'm just hollering, "No! No! NOOO! Instructions, INSTRUCTIONS!" I was beginning to hyperventilate, pause button, pause button. Calm down, slow breaths, sloooow breathing.

    I bought my Lectric XP in January 2020 to get rid of excess weight. I ended up losing 77 pounds, and my legs are like tree trunks. I have 2 batteries and have travelled 65 miles round trip. I currently have 2400 miles on my ebike. Life is great... or, was great. Last week, at 2400 miles, the bike broke down electronically. Left me stranded, twice. Had to walk home several miles. Lectric company says it’s still under warranty, but will take a long time to get the part needed to fix. Coming from China and from I got from the tech, this prob is happening to thousands of Lectric bikes. So, I stop riding for how long? A month, maybe2 or 3.... I don’t think so. I am going to buy another bike from another brand cuz this one is no longer reliable. It’s just taking up space in my bike barn. The unfortunate part is I just finished building my solar bike barn so my bike is propelled by sun and keto... I hope Lectric realizes that my warranty is on pause until it is fixed. They can’t take a month or several months and expect the warranty to keep running. So, if u want this bike, I totally recommend it. Just have secondary transportation and Uber on stand by. P.s. no public transportation where I live. ur on ur own here

    I have a question and it's not about the bike. Is it possible to put for 3 volt fans and make them generators and use them on an e-bike to charge batteries with an inverter? And if I made 1 how would I do it? If anybody could tell me I think it's you. I have seen many people with those giant solar panels behind their bike on a wagon what if it's not that sunny out? When you're riding the fans would be charging if it was one big fan it probably would cause more drag than for little fans with a big space between. I don't even like this bike really but. I think if I had more money I would buy a fold-up bike and a trike and a bike for riding but I'm not that rich. I see what this I really love my ebike it's the cheapest one for the money the ecotric hammer I am going to go camping I bought an extra battery they are ridiculous $400? Are those batteries from Alibaba or whatever it is any good that are $200? I would like to have that ebike book and the other one about solar power

    Why do you insist on doing these videos in the grass? I don't understand? What about all the little parts? Actually irritating to watch! And good luck putting that battery in. I'm thinking the folding is useless it just gets taller. Maby for a broom closet but still cumbersome over all.

  • @Zerzuze
    @Zerzuze 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ridiculous! First off watching him remove it from the box told me it is very heavy. The folding mechanism doesn't change the overall size of the bike. It just changes it from a long structure to a taller structure appears to take up the same space folded or not. There are other folding electric bikes sold much smaller and are much lighter.

    You know I wouldn't think that you would be that kind of guy. why don't you read instructions before you film this stuff? I mean aren't you trying to show people how to do this stuff so basically what you're doing is you're showing everybody how to wreck it before you ride it.

    Michan,
    Thank you for the very will written DYI solar and lithium battery books.
    I just built a small portable 12v solar charged power box for charging cellphones, tablets ETC
    using your information from both books. I like both books because they are written at a level easy to understand (not to technical) I’M using a12v 100w Renogry solar panel and a 12v Victron Smartsolar 30a charge controller. I oversized my controller for future projects.
    Thanks again,

    It would have been nice if either you or IMiro could of had some easier way for those interested, to find out what type of battery ah, watts, motor size, etc. Seems everyone who attempts to sell an ebike to the U.S. Market has Watt anxiety over disclosing something like 36 volts and 250 watts, the typical size of most European markets. I do not blame them though... as in the U.S. 750 Watts and at least 48 Volts or higher are desired. BTW... I purchased the DIY Lithium Battery, DIY, Solar and DIY EBikes... I will spend the cold winter learning how to make my own, 750 watt, 52 volt battery and bike build... Will send photo's as I progress! Thanks friend!

    I didn't see any meaningful advantage in folding the bike.
    (and actually collapsing, not folding, so it's a "collapsing bike"...though not the best imagery from a marketing viewpoint)
    And someone commented this is US$2000...unless it is incredibly light, and I mean INCREDIBLY, that seems much too high a price point for what this bike is designed to deliver.

    I stopped watching at 6:45 when it became obvious that the bike was not fit for purpose. However, the bloke should have RTFM before starting assembly. Anyway, this was one seriously bad advert for this particular bike.
    Also, like all ebikes this one is far too expensive at almost 2,000 dollars. I bought an ordinary non-electric bike, 26" wheels, for under £300 three years ago.

  • @petergorton9848

    Micah, I respect and like your your reviews. However, you MUST RTFM before taking to the bike “with a little extra force”. The bike is innovative, but maybe “pre-production”? The derailleur definitely looks vulnerable. A couple of stats would be useful: motor power rating, battery capacity, charge duration etc.

    7:15 Did you drive there in a car (cant tell if youre at home or had to go someplace private to not be photobombed)? If so, does it have a spare (not all cars come with one anymore, which obviously should be a felony)? If so, does it have a jack (should, if theres a tire)? If so, is it a scissor jack (like most are for the last ~40 years)?
    THEN point one end of the jack into the opening and expand it slowly to pry the tube back out. Ive used car jacks for MANY things (compressing decking boards, lifting a printing press just to name a few) over the years.

    Recently bought a pair of Bafang brushless geared hub motors on a special buy, 36v 350 watt motors. Any reason I can't run these off a 36/48v 500 watt, or 36/48v 800 watt controller at 13s or 14s 48v nominal? I believe these were takeoffs from rental ebikes and came with rims and Swalbe Marathon tires (in great shape) as well as brake rotors and calipers.

    I just checked the price. At just about $2,000 each, I'd say they aren't going to sell many of these here in the states. Also, at about 15 Mph max speed, I'd just as soon get something substantially cheaper and pedal my way, thus also giving me the exercise I need. While that E-bike is clever, unless they lower the price they'll be lucky to build up to Economies of Scale so they then could actually produce more units, keeping more people working and allowing their name to become more well known. Seriously, that bike is not worth $2000 !!!

  • @wm437
    @wm437 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    That bike is NOT worth the headache and money it has cost you. At that price range you have many more viable options. Return, refund, rebuy somewhere else. Those issues shouldn't be present in a new bike, that frame wasn't bent in shipping, if it was the packaging would show some signs of damage. That is a quality control issue.
    RETURN!

    I feel like you nailed exactly what this bike is.
    And it's weird because the first impression I got from looking at it is: "oh it's another gimmicky looking low-powered ebike." But aside from the things that didn't work right, it actually looks like it could potentially be decent in a few more design iterations.

  • @nevinsmith6386
    @nevinsmith6386 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ok, the bike is 2 grand. What do you get for that?
    First the look. All things considered this is not a bike I want anyone to see me riding. It is different I'll grant you that. That doesn't make appealing. Here it's been called a grasshopper, and a white praying mantis. Personal taste is subjective however.
    Second, the packaging. I understand many things could have happened in shipping. But to not be able to get the battery into the thing. To me that is kind of a big thing. Especially when it costs $2000.
    Finally the bike itself. I'm not crazy about a "minimalist screen". Would you want a car with a speedometer and nothing else? I would hope there is a way to tell the amount of charge left in the battery. Then there's the motor. Judging by only what can be seen, I'd say it's at best 500W. There's no being sure however since there isn't any information. The website forgot to include that tidbit. The only you can be sure of is you can get a black one or a white one. I guess it's a "minimalist" site.
    I don't know about anyone else, but 2 grand isn't pin money to me. I expect a lot for that price, and this bike just doesn't deliver. I'll pass.

    I need an Ebike that goes around 15 mph to 20 mph with a real world range of at least 15 miles. My 18 year old car is about shot and I need something to go short distances to the grocery store and back. I live in a flat area. I am 5'10" and weigh 195. My problem is I'm a low income veteran with not too much I can spend on one. I've checked the American made ones and they are out of my price range. Which ones would you recommend?

    Design? Interesting. With the number of companies making their Nth generation models at a good or great quality level, I don't think "decent" this and "decent" that can justify a $2,000 price tag these days.

    pull the knob out when folding the bike up, turn clockwise 90 degrees to lock it. Pull the knob out when unfolding the bike down, then turn knob counter-clockwise 90 degrees to lock. Make sure to pull the knob out when folding and unfolding to prevent from scratch

    Not sure if this was a good review for this bike. Damages during shipping suggest that it's not packaged well and maybe there is an equal lack of care in the manufacturing. Almost 2k, while not budget busting, is not cheap, either. I'd expect better.

    Another major is not having any fenders, not very much fun to ride it in the rain like this!
    If you like to really do a good review, you need to determine clear benchmark tests and rate it from 1-10 in each task: assembly, driving, acceleration, deceleration, climb, range, speed, battery life, weather conditions and temperatures, riding comfort etc.

    It has all the earmarks of an expensive unsupported POS from China. Bent and broken right out of the box, speed limited to half of what the other manufactures are building, the Gear system is unknown, the motor is unknown, the entire ebike is an unknown brand and looking at the rear chain guide to the derailleur, you will be replacing that item because the wheel diameter is to small and the unit is only an inch or two from the ground. I don’t know what you paid, but I will bet the company is already out of business.

    The folding mechanism is actually the main selling point of this ebike. There is NO ebike that can fold and then be subsequently rolled easily and vertically while folded on the market right now! So, if they fix this folding mechanism, they will have a big winner here, as long as people are aware of it and why it is so useful. It means, you don't have to worry about the weight of the bike much, because it easily wheels in folded form, for example onto public transportation or in train hallways between trains, etc.
