Easy ZURICH BUDGET Tour Summer Switzerland

- Zurich is expensive to travel but here is my EASY BUDGET TOUR! You will be surprised but Zurich can be explored on a budget, some attractions are very cheap, others are even free. In other countries, you might have to pay for such attractions, but not so in Zurich. Explore the world’s most expensive city on a walk, on a boat and on a funicular. Take the Polybahn from Central up to ETH Zurich to access the Polyterrasse. The Polyterrasse is the best view point in the centre of Zurich. Also visit the hall of ETH itself, famous scientists including Albert Einstein have studied here! Continue to the Niederdörfli and explore the alleys of Zurich’s old city. Visit some of the houses of famous writers and politicians and then proceed to the Grossmünster. The Fraumünster is one of the most beautiful protestant churches in Zurich, there are the Chagall windows that are world-famous. Some of the guild houses can be visited, however please do that with moderation. Must-see alleys in Zurich are the Augustinergasse, Neumarkt, Rindermarkt and Rennweg. These alleys are very picturesque. Then, go to the Storchen to take a boat to ride on the river Limmat. Get out at Zürichhorn and visit the Chinese garden that is a free attraction in expensive Zurich. This tour takes an entire afternoon. More can be added, shown in my previous Easy Zurich budget tour video. Zurich requires 1 full day to be explored. One does not have to necessarily stay overnight in Zurich.

Hi. Thanks a lot! Well, I am so happy sharing all these tips that I hardly cannot miss out to smile :) Really happy to read your comment!
Thanks Djemo - I much enjoyed your pictures from ETH :) - I studied math there 20 years before you and it dug up memories. I'll have to go wander the halls again sometime now that I am more often in Switzerland.
Hey! That's nice hearing from you and glad that you also studied at ETH before. I had Prof. Jeltsch, and Trubowitz for Math lectures. I really enjoyed the lectures with Prof. Jeltsch, he explained things in a very good manner. Statistics we had a dutch professor, I cant remember his name but he was great too. Maybe you knew any of these 3 Profs?
@@DjemoGraphic I vaguely remember Prof Trubowitz but not sure anymore what he was teaching at the time. As far as I know all the professors we had have retired by now.
Thank you for this exciting and very useful video, Djemo!
Hi Elka. Thank you so much for your nice comment😊
Thanks for the lovely informative video, we will surely follow - we will be there next week!!! made some really important notes. Excited to try Laderach Chocolates!!!
Hi. Thanks a lot for watching the entire video. I feel grateful reading you took some notes, that means you really trust my recommendations. Thank you very much for your trust! Läderach is absolutely the best chocolates in Switzerland! They cost a bit but they do taste amazingly!
Love your videos, Djemo. I'm really looking forward to our trip to Switzerland in June.
Hi. Thanks a lot for watching and leaving this nice comment :) Hope you will have a great trip! You already have your itinerary for the trip?
Hi, Djemo! Happy Easter! Wishing you love, true friends and new beginnings! Sending my warm wishes to you and your family! ❤💕
Happy Easter to you too Gala🤗😇
Very practical info! Thank you Djemo!
Thank you so much Vioreli :)
Hi Djemo 👋 Thanks for this video 📸👍 I'm planning to visit Zurich on July 16-18, 2024. I hope to see you👍
Hi Gerry! That's great to read! I think I might be around. Definitely we have to meet then! :) You will travel alone?
thank you! that was a beautiful city tour. could fall in love with Zurich! 😀
Hiii Sator. Thanks a lot. My pleasure to have produced this video😊
Thank you for this very useful content! I have a 7 hour layover in Zurich at the end of October. I arrive at the airport at 10.30 am and fly at 5.30 pm. I would like to know if it is possible to do in that time (you have to subtract the hours of paperwork at the airport) this tour in addition to the one you offer in Easy tour of the city of Zurich. Unfortunately I discard the boat ride although I would have liked to do it. I have no difficulty walking for several hour. I am looking forward to your recommendation. Greetings from Argentina!
Hi Giad. I think most of these places you can visit in half a day. The churches are all nearby, the Niederdörfli and Limmatquai too. Maybe the China Garden you might have to skip, instead visit the Polyterrasse.
@@DjemoGraphic Thank you very much 🙂 I agree with the China Garden, although I would like to go. I am abusing your generosity and I am asking you if it is possible to pay for the polybahn with a credit card?
Very interesting video, as always! And, as always, thanks, with love! ❤❤❤
Hi Gala. Thank you so much! Happy to read you liked this video and always appreciating you watching and commenting on all of my videos🥰🤗🤗

Danke vielmals.
Bitte sehr. Hat mir Freude gmacht dieses Video zu produzieren.
Excellent video. Thank you! can you send us the map of where you showed and walked?
Hii. Thanks a lot for your comment. I unfortunately do not have any specific city map with the spots. However, I am setting up pioneer maps with a partner business, where I will have all spots included but it will include nearly all spots shown in my TH-cam videos and IG cost around 15 USD.
😍restaurant storchen.👍👍
I love that restaurant. Especially the interior. Its though quite costly, but the quality and ambience are top!
❤❤❤❤❤❤very nice 👌 super ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Arman! Which place did you like the most?
All
Loved my time in Zermatt. Zurich?? Not sure.
Zermatt is all about the village and nature. Zürich is a city. It depends on people's interest.
😍👍👍
Thank you Ala!😊

Fortunately, Lenin only stayed one year in Zurich, if he had stayed longer...🤣
He should have stayed there and not engage in politics
"promo sm" 😔
I Dont understand your comment🤷🏻♂️
