My most concern I had was about facial masking. At the beginning I was not aware I had PD but all the doctors that knew me for years knew I had the disease and advised me to see a specialist. I am 71 year old and the other symptoms that affected me for years before I was aware of PD were loosing my hearing, taste and smell, weakening of my eyesight and skin problems. Of course the major symptom is slowing down. It takes me, for example, longer time to tie my shoes than I use to.
I started taking medication couple of months ago and makes me tired to the point I had to lie down. We have to know that the medication doesn’t stop the progression of the disease but it makes it more manageable. I wish everyone good health and enjoy your life and don’t let anything stop you from achieving that.
    Love for all ❤

      Thanks for sharing your story.
Regarding your medication use and tiredness: this is something we'd recommend you discuss with the prescribing provider. Tiredness and fatigue can be worsened by medications, and altering your dose or switching to a different medication may help.
