Bro your tone and playing is so on point. This is the best cover of Carousel I've seen, thanks so much for this. Much appreciated, and again, AMAZING TONE!
Thanks for showing me the parts beyond the main chords and the bridge of the song which when I was 12 and I first started playing guitar in 1997 I never bothered to figure out. Even the little da nanana na na na..... in the intro chords.... never bothered to try to find the notes. It's funny how when you learn parts when you're young those incorrect parts can be hard to unlearn, and hard to add to. I always just played the bass part in the intro on guitar because it seemed simpler and I just thought was a cool progression.
Me too cause it serves no purpose besides like keeping the shapes the same Some of their early stuff on before Dude Ranch does have some out of key chords or notes like this. It’s like they learned specifically about keys from Dude Ranch on. Almost everything thereafter is totally diatonic with very few exceptions (?).
@@RockinTabs it’s a 2 finger special like most of Tom’s chords lol. It’s a D note on the 2nd (A) string and an F# on the 3rd (D) string. You’ll see it on any live performance of Carousel they do. Sounds sick🤘🏽
This is unbelievably good - thanks for taking the time to do this!!
Thanks so much! And you're welcome 🤘
the intro is so good
💯

The third part of the riff in the bridge being major instead of minor has always bugged me
Lol
Me too cause it serves no purpose besides like keeping the shapes the same
