I'm a noob to ESO and made my first character a Necro. I've been playing for a month now and I like the game so I decided to do some research and man ... I don't know what to believe anymore. LOL Apparently I need to find a more recent Necro video/guide.
Started a Necromancer yesterday and I went straight to the "Deathbringer" pre-recommended built as I wanted to play melee with this class. I will follow up your guide now since it sounds more like the one I was looking for. Thank you very much for sharing this ultimate non-raid solo built with us!!
This builds brutal, I don't have the weapon skills unlocked yet but I grabbed the dual wield Bleed dot and with pale order you get healed twice for its damage if you take the heal morph, most everything will just melt like a hot knive through butter not even allowing you to get out all of your dots, even delve bosses by the time I lay down the back bar dots and hit the 3rd blastbones their toast
the magica morph of blastbones only does more dmg when chasing the enemy, the leap doesn't count. 30y leap, 30y range so this only applies to enemies running away from you. If im not mistaken. :)
Actually, the stalking blastbones has NEVER been changed after the core blastbones rework. It doesn't do what the tooltip reads anymore. They never fixed it. And it's been like this since 2020 (if I'm not mistaking because the rework is live since January 2020 iirc).
Hope you answer but have you ran vet arenas with the second option gear? I don't run trials so I went with aegis instead of relequen and was wondering if it'll still pass the vet arenas
Some of us run videos in the background and never really watch the screen unless we are actively building the build. so seeing a scythe as requirement to be sure it’s not a DK video is just ridiculous maturity matters.

I just started playing ESO, got to lvl 23 as a DK and wanted to start playing a necro as well, but this game is too overwhelming for me. There's so much you have to do and so many places to visit and level up to make a decent build. If I just make my own build with the skills and weapons I like, do I have a slight chance of it being decent, at least? I much prefer using magicka on my DK and Necro rather than stamina builds, but everywhere I go, stamina builds for everyone :/
You can use the weapons you like. And the dragon Knight has such a strong flame damage skill line. However as a new player you should look at builds to get to know what a damage DPS combo looks like, what DKS use to survive, and how they buff etc. When you have knowledge, you can make your own build. Many content creators have magic DK guides - xynode, deltia and luckyghost and more

Im surprised you didn't recommend dubious for the food unless it came out later after this video cause it gives alot of stam and health as well as stam recovery
For a LOT of solo and casual trials and dungeons, would you go DK tank as your first tank or Necro ? (will be going to harder when i get bored of casual, but for a while il be Casual\easier content )
Hey, Lucky! Maybe I missed it but in the written guide I don't see a Major fracture from any of the skills listed. The only one that would make sense to me would be either razor caltrops or the morph of Boneyard that applies it. Am I missing something because you usually have major fracture or major breach in these solo builds?
I've been playing as a Magcro for awhile now. I think I'm 1100+ CP. In the last few months, I've seen quite a bit of videos focused on Stamcro builds. So is the Magcro a bit on the obsolete side now? Depends on ur stage bc vampire gives less non vampire skill damage but more vampire skill damage so if ur stage 1 you should be ok. It's the main reason why I stopped being a vampire, if ur not using vampire skills you just have constant debuffs on you.
No, that would not be beneficial on this specific build. There is such a thing as a magicka necromancer, and you can search for it on my site or on youtube :D maybe he's running one of those

I'd use this build for pvp eso.justlootit.com/eso-stamina-necromancer-pvp-builds and use the armory to switch back and forth between the two when pvping or pve-ing

Sorry to bug you but the Solo Stamina warden build needs a fix on the website. The skills don't line up. Under "SKILLS - SOLO STAMINA WARDEN BUILD" you have "Winters Revenge" Under "SKILL LINEAGE - SOLO STAMINA WARDEN BUILD" you have "Ice Fortress" Thank you so much for these builds you but together.

Dude you don’t have to do any pvp, just hop in to cyrodiil and go through the 2 intro quests and you’ll get to rank 3 which unlocks vigor and the assault passive continuous attack(+30% mount speed). It takes like 10 minutes to complete, and you can look it up on TH-cam if you can’t find the quests to start. Edit: Forgot to mention that you unlock the ability to go to Cyrodiil once you hit level 10.

Oh and I am literally using mix matched cp40-cp140 medium gear that I had in my bank lying around as I just hit cp160 a day or so ago lol

Its Distance from you and enemy. Farther away more dmg
No he’s correct. Blastbones only does more dmg when he runs after his target. Not when he leaps. So to get a buff on dmg is rare let alone 50%

I was a warewolf for a while because you get 15% stamina Regen while it's slotted. But other than that not really.

Is the gear for this build going to change for the Necrom Patch? Because I’m currently getting Aegis Caller but if it’s going to change shall I wait?
Aegis caller is amazing, though I might change it to Venomous Smite for Necrom. The difference in damage is negligable

its pretty irreplaceable, its a massive single target dot, and provides minor force. obtaining minor force any other way is quite the concession

Redgaurd only reduces the cost of weapon abilities specidically( abilities from the weapon lines), its kinda shite compared to the other options atm
