I'm getting deja vu with this video. That Ninjabread Man joke sealed it.
Looks like someone uploaded the wrong patreon video a few days ago
Fuck, I thought it was just me. When he made the Fiddler's Green joke I was like "Wait...didn't I see this already?"
Same. I was started to freak out a little bit.
This was the comment I was hoping to find haha.
Same here!!!
Both GTA: SA and HL2 came out in 2004! I remember pulling an all-nighter that christmas to complete HL2, then spent NYE playing CS:S for hours.
GTA: SA came out on PC and XBox in 2005.
Wasn't this vid already put up? Could have sworn I watched it a few weeks ago.
At least I'm not the only one who thought this
It was. I remember the ninja bread man joke and talking about Halo during the Chicago enforcer bit.
Yeah right I remember the ninja bread man joke too but I also remember the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory being referenced as well haha glad I am not going crazy.
On the stream today Peter said the other one got somehow flagged for "sexual content" so they've re-uploaded it and it hasn't been flagged this time.
@@llpalm08 God damn ninja bread man is just TOO SEXY
I actually like the Charlie and the chocolate factory game it’s really fun exploring the factory and helping the oompa loompas mend the machines in my opinion in 3D
I'll always remember Marvel Nemesis as the game I spent more time watching the intro to than actually playing the game.
Great cinematics. Terrible game.
Also I think "Road to Fiddler's Green" refers to the massive apartment complex where the rich live safely away from the zombies. Still not a great title.
I thought ps2 version was real good and replayed recently not a bad game at all just the characters are not balanced well
Didn't you guys do this already?! I'm having serious flashbacks.
After watching today's stream: "I'm doing my part!"
I actually love the Charlie & The Chocolate Factory movie.
Bully for you
@@GrosvnerMcaffrey What?
I got Marvel Nemesis for DS as a kid, what an awful game. They tried shoehorning in touchscreen controls by having the bottom screen light up when you got your special move, but no matter how I tapped or tried to drag the stylus, nothing ever happened for most characters. Bizarre game.
3:56 Another incredulous thing about Dragon Booster. Somehow some kind of Demo Thing ended up in the Final Release.
That means: If you do not bother to maneuver your dragon for about twenty seconds (not making any input on the d-pad) the game will just take over and be absolutely perfect at it!
Why is THAT even a thing at all?
Roald Dahl probably disagree on a remake being unnecessary considering he hates the first movie. I think he even named Burton as the director he wants to do it.
Also, it's not even a remake, just another adaptation of the same source material.
You should do two of these lists. One that has ds on its own tier given how they dominate the list
It's always humorous to me when videos like these start of with a short list of "great" games and none of them are games I'd be the slightest bit interested in.
Am I having a deja vu or is this video have been uploaded before? I swear I remember even the ninja bread man joke
well 2005 isn't that far back... hang on let me check a calendar and weep
I spent 2005 playing Smackdown vs Raw 2006 😊
Land of the Dead, I started to think it was a re-upload, but then the the Gang War game really drove it home.
I had to check out Lula 3D after seeing this video, and after downloading it and playing it last night I have to say it's honestly not that bad of a game at all, it's fun to interact with stuff around the environment, voice-acting sounds a bit off(Lula's accent jumps between British and America)and some of the dialogue sounds kinda weird, but it's got a weird sort of charm that makes it oddly compelling, the plot is actually kinda interesting and I like the detective aspect of it. I actually wish there were more games like that.
I'm surprised 7 Sins wasn't on this list, that was another "adult" game that came out the same year.
You should do a retrospective on Tomba 2! Loved the T2 stream and could tell it had a big impact on your vg tastes growing up
Technically you had two games in one entry there with monster truck ds and the quad one which makes that A BIT OF A WILDCARD ENTRY 🎉🥳
Honestly I didn’t mind Fiddler’s Green that much. The atmosphere was spot on and the story was interesting enough. It was a bit slow at times but I thought it was a decent zombie game for the time.
Absolute sacrilege putting Charlie and the chocolate factory on this list
Wow, what a great video and this is definetly the first time I'm watching it
I was a (not so) proud owner of Monster Trucks DS when I was younger and it made ZERO sense. You just sort of picked a truck and raced. No sense of direction or story or anything. It just existed. No real benefit of winning or progression. You just wandered a track until the race ended and went to a different track to do it again.
Everyone say when you realized this was a re-upload. Mine was when they got to the Land of the Dead.
When I saw the thumbnail
I didn't know it was.
“Willy Wonka should never have been remade in the first place” A man after my own heart! 👏🏼
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is *NOT* a remake! It's just another adaptation of the original 1964 book by Roald Dahl!
@@coreycleven8414 I mean you're wrong, but... you're still wrong.
but it was a faithful adaptation of the book is my defense.
@@willhuey4462 yep.
@@coreycleven8414 ok? Your point is?
Aaahhh they have changed something in the Matrix! 😳 I’m getting déjà vu 😧
Wait didn't this already come out already ?? I remember this whole video
Did you rerelease this? I've seen these games before.
I'm all there for these 'worst of' episodes 😎
So now you've done 2005. Let's Go for 1995 aswell
Fiddler's Green sounds like a park you don't want kids to go to
Jimmy Saville's Back Garden
Day made! Thanks TJ team!
Ok so I actually finished Road to Fiddler's Green without a guide and... Hoo boy... It was an experience. Imagine a sub-par, late 90's FPS but in mid to late 00's... Yeah...
It did have a charming old school feeling to it but then you remember it's about 5-6 years behind competitors and is based on a MASSIVE franchise... I don't have enough "..."'s to explain.
I actually finished it twice as I took my time and "explored" the first time. The 2nd time you could outrun nearly everything as from what I remember there are only slow zombies. Headshots also made zero difference or very little if I'm correct.
as someone who played Dragon Booster it really wasn’t that bad once you got used to the controls
I was a big supporter of DS, but I never heard of Dragon Booster. X'D
I personally loved Fiddlers Green when it came out. I worked at Blockbuster at the time so I got it for free...
Just dropping a comment to say “this is for your metrics “ keep up the great work yall
Grandpa bucket was the reason the original video got removed for sexual content
Road To Fiddlers Green is fire, you're trippin! but the rest i most def agree with lol
I always get Ben and Peter confused on the voice over videos 😆 This time I got it right before he made his introduction though! I think also the background music helps. Like this video’s background music seems to be heard more when Peter is narrating(and in the longer worst to best videos as well it seems like Peter has this customer service hold music playing 😆)
I haven't just clicked on and off! Actually rewatching, Ben!
Thanks for the content
am i crazy or did anyone else watch this same video last week? i definitely didn't watch it yesterday...
Man, I completely forgot Dragon Booster was a thing. What a trip being reminded from it by a terrible DS game.
Wait a minute. Those death animations in Chicago Enforcer is the exact same as No One Lives Forever (2000)
That land of the dead game kinda sounds fun to play ironically. Im just a sucker for zombie games, so zombies that are dumb and unpredictable sounds funny-enough. Heck i was skipping through a little and didnt even realise it was a land of the dead game lmao
How are people still screaming for half life 3. We've been waiting for 17 years I doubt we are getting it.
Is this a re-upload?
2005 was the year I got into gaming...but thankfully not with any of these games
I was heavy on Halo 2 and NFS Most Wanted. I still have the opening riff of Hand of Blood burned into my head. Lol
Not mad tho, BFMV is 🔥🔥
Charlie & the Chocolate Factory is listed on the PC but Game Cube box art is shown, also Resident Evil 4 came out in Game Cube but you show the PS2 box art 🤔
GTA San Andreas came in 2004.
02:05 awesome roling down the stairs!
Wow! Yes when a game or really when anything in existence thats4entertainment tries to say that big boobs are the selling point, that does absolutely mean they have literally nothing else to offer and they know that it sucks
is this a repost? I remember watching this before
Am I going insane or did this list come out before?
9:25 there should have been a scene comparison or a line from the actual game in question.
The thumbnail looks awfully familiar..this must be a reupload
100% I remember commenting that San Andreas cane out in 04 originally
The Nintendo DS version of King Kong looks like a PS1 game.
"Crime Life: Gang Wars" sounds like the title of the worst mobile app store game ever made -- well, actually movie, book, or really ANY media with that bland and uninspired title would be guaranteed to eat shit lol. It basically says: "the people that made this couldn't be bothered with it, so why should you?"
Felt that deja vu.
I'm not the only one, thank god.
The DS: it prints money and shovelware!
To be fair of Brute Force, it was little more than a palette teaser for Halo 2, so...
Your video reminds me of Whatculture gaming videos.
That ninjabread man gain clearly shows the Wii logo on the cover. That would never have come out in 2005 because the Wii came out in 2006. You weirdos😂
Deja vu, I’ve just been in this place before.
Ninja bread was not only asset flipped once they did it twice but sadly it's shovel ware which you guys refuse to cover because no one reviews them
When you say "Lula" was released "I'm Europe before receiving an English translation" what language was it in then? Esperanto? 😂 I mean if they took the time to make translations into multiple European languages to start why not just do English, which is fairly common throughout Europe, in the first place? Or did it come out exclusively in Lithuanian?
The ps2 version of Charlie and the chocolate factory is actually really fun loved it as a kid
Since when was Travis Biggles from Taxi Driver In a Land of the Dead?
3:58 Honestly I enjoy to play this game at first time I played it.
Why is this reuploaded?
Psychonaunts was for 2005
Funny when even the countrymen of famous Englishman Roald Dahl pronounce his name «Roll Doll»..!
It's back!
"You're King bloody Kon-K."
HL2 was 2004 not 2005
I used to play burnout revenge religiously and I still play it every now and then it’s so good the best racing game ever
Do a "best" and "worst" games of 2012... which is easily the most boring year ever for games. 😂
I don't know man, I've played a bunch of garbage PS2 games and I remember there were a lot worse than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Is this a re upload
Gta San Andreas came out in 2004
Yeah, I was looking for this. I get that back in the day, it was common for many months between releases, but GTA SA was definitely 2004 for a UK release.
@@pacman_birthmark yep October 2004 I believe
Wasn't Fiddler's Green the safe zone in the land of the dead film?
Ah 2005. The year I was born.
"Lula 3D" should have been an RPG or life simulator where you play as the leader of Brazil lol you could fight your way out of wrongful imprisonment, take back your rightful place as head of government, introduce good socialist programs, fight off right wing assassins, etc. Maybe the final level would have Brazil do so well on the world stage as anti-capitalists that the US goes psycho and tries to invade but then the people's army all band together to help Lula save the country
man I loved road to fiddlers green. Just me?
#3: In fairness to the remake, it was closer to the original book than the first movie was. The author was not known for doing 'nice' so-called children books.
It's not a remake tho. It's just another adaptation of the book.
@@ethancoolbro18gamer86 I stand corrected. When the source is a book, it's adaptations, not remakes.
@@cheritripp9470 yep.
Fiddlers Green Is where the rich people live in Land of the Dead - but yeah, looks awful 😅
Why was this reuploaded?
OK, they definitely did some of these in another worst games of [year] video...
Great work
A re-upload?
Let's do the time warp again!
Did this video already release like a week ago or am I going insane.
is this a reupload?
I guess I haven't heard of most of these games.
My brother had Rise Of The Imperfects on his DS and between me and him we plays HOURS of that game, not perfect but a meh time waster
Actually Willy wonka our Charlie and the chocolate factory was actually remade twice. Similar what happened with scooby doo starting in the mid late1990 were a bunch of direct to dvd scooby doo movies. The started doing the same thing with Tom and jerry most of them were stand alone movies but I think there wizard of oz one had a sequel .well one of there most recent direct to video films was an animated movie of Charlie in the chocolate family it was less faithful to the book but was pretty much an animated remake of the original films with a few changes made to it some were just wtf were they on our thinking.
The 2005 film isn't a remake. It's just another adaptation of the original book.
A remake would be based on the older movie. The Tim Burton movie is based on the book. It's just another adaptation. The 1971 one wasn't even faithful to the source material.
Is this a reupload or am I misremembering?
Pretty sure it is
Someone said the original was flagged for sexual content.
@@juststatedtheobvious9633 lol
@@juststatedtheobvious9633 I blame lula
The Ninjabread Man was actually released 3 times in total. There are some TH-cam videos about that "trilogy".
Oh boy nostalgia time
I loved Marvel Nemesis rise of the imperfects on my GameCube
