- This has got to be the coolest Cadillac CTS-V Wagon out there! 106mm rear-mounted turbo, a factory 6-speed transmission, making roughly 1700hp, and capable of 200mph in the 1/2 mile!? That definitely earns 1320video stamp of approval!!

Lets give a shout out to the 1320 crew. Kyle says "the temperatures are 20 degrees cooler right now..." and yet he is already out there sweating for us to get this entertainment.
People who haven't been to the races don't understand; 1320 is there from before the first car to after the last car. They are outside in the heat filming, cheering, and helping the racers compete. We are not worthy of this dedication to your craft, 1320 crew. Keep killing it.

The wagon is more aero then a coupe. The roof line is longer to the rear of the car it helps smooth out the flow. Thats why back in the 70's nascar would not allow 4 door bodies to be used after a 4 door set a record at Talladega. Longer is better

One of my life goals is now to have a car that is worthy of being featured on 1320 for its own video like this. If I can get Kyle or Fred to say "Holy S#!7" about one of my cars, my life will be complete. Time to get to work!
Also, the CTS-V is ties with the Trackhawk for my 2020 dream grocery getter. That thing is a work of art.

Rear mounts get such a bad wrap. They're underrated for sure.

What an awesome event this was and the freaking wagon was AMAZING! The story behind it was actually pretty great as well. We brought out turbo IS300 out for the event and MAN what a difference between fast cars and FAST cars!

I got a 2005 cts ive been restoring and i felt just like this guy when the fe1 to fe2 suspension upgrade for under 300 bucks all new parts went well. Turned out two out of three links were about to break and the sway bar bushing had hardened into plastic. Shocks were half blown, appeared to be ok but did not dampen sway at all.
I have a photo of the beast when I was at the wanna go fast half mile event.
Twin charged engines so wicked and mechanical like the turbo spools while supercharger is roaring lol

@@bambino8235 actually it's not. Have you ever seen or installed a rear mounted turbo? I assume you haven't because you are wrong. That is the inlet/intake side of the turbo. Right behind that giant dark hole is the blades on the turbo. The turbo downpipe would be connected to the real exhaust.
Darren & Karyn Farrell you want to explain why there is exhaust coming out of that pipe then.
@@skating4ad ok. That is just a pipe on the exhaust side of the turbo. Not inlet. My fault. Still isn't the exhaust or a downpipe. Literally the turbo is right behind that big hole in the bumper. The 2 tips you see are the exhaust.
That's a good looking CTS-V Wagon. Running a stock 6 speed manual transmission. DAMN. Very long gearing tho. But with roughly 1700hp, it's a perfect combination.

The CTS-V and The CTS-V Wagon are 2 of my all time favorite looking cars. But its gotta be the 2nd Gen of both and a CTS-V Coupe would be my choice behind a CTS-V Wagon.

Wow !!!!!! That Caddy CTS-V is awesome !!!!!! finally someone has done what I was thought of, what I had in mind and it works, putting both both forms of forced inductions, turbo(s) and supercharger(s),haha I had a gut feeling this was possible and it's done.
Haha people said this was not possible, or extremely unlikely to work due to too much boost, and the engine would not handle it, that the engine would fail, now it's been done and it works.
I had a gut feeling people were saying crap, and I am right, now there is a video proof of this.
Haha, no asian import fans can say nonsense now, without being wrong about domestic car making kickass power and torque, especially after this video proof.
This CTS-V is a super built Caddy, it makes awesome results.

Ditch the mirrors, get a deck lid spoiler and maybe try to get it lower to the ground or put a big ass splitter on the front. Tape the hood and fenders, block half the grill.
