Amazing shots! I wish i would have bought this lens, but i was going for the RF 800 F11 since i had full frame (EOS RP) Only to find out later with the upgrade to the R7 that 1280mm is pretty…. SUPER „super tele“, tho interesting for small, jumpy birds and video. What i love the most on the RF 800 F11: going mainly with photo mode (and also fast access to 1080p60 8bit low bitrate) or punching in further (effective 2000-2200mm!) in super sharp 4k60 video mode in HDR PQ. If Canon ever release a RF-S super tele (or anywhere close to that), i will go for it, sell the RF 800 and buy a 100-400 as wildlife/macro lens for hikes. The 100-500L + 1,4x Teleconverter would be so awesome, just too expensive
Especially the RF 100-400 seems like its perfect for 4k60 crop video mode and its super convenient with its weight and stabilizer (+IBIS!) My actual video (on tripod) and main wildlife lens is actually the Sigma 150-600C 6.3 but unlike the RF lenses - its bad stabilized and a heavy boy but 600 F 6.3 is amazing even for lower light where the RF 800 F11 gets pretty useless.
It's always amazing how powerful the RF 100-400 is!
I just bought the same camera and lens combo. Your pics are a real challenge.
I'm planning to get the same combo! How is it? Are you happy with your purchase? :)
Beautiful!

Hello,a very nice presentation of birds ans very good quality of images!!! Greetings from the Netherlands and just subscribed.
Nice pictures!
Amazing capture s❤
What’s distance to the birds when u was shootin’? Not exactly but in general how far?
@@ftheradio not the same for every shor but in general for small birds, between 5-8 meters.
Great shots mate!
For a budget priced RF lens, I am surprised at the great results.
Is This with electronic shutter?
Yeah, with R7 I only used es. There is severe rolling shutter with the background trees bending and some wing distortions, though.
Muy buenas !
