2ne1 was and still is one of a kind cause at the time girl groups in kpop were filled with ones that have that aegyo persona, and then this group kicked the door open that girl groups could be kick ass, swaggy, unapologetic, savage artists too like their male counterparts. I still have goosebumps watching them perform on stage. Their energy and crowd-hyping skill is still unmatched to this day.

I feel so lucky to being able to stand them when they were still a group , I watched all their videos and in Mama's people screamed for them asking that the awards were for 2ne1, they won rookie and song of the year in their first year, not with all the technology available now they broke records I'm sure they would still break them now, they would have lots of views, I remember when kpop fans were die hard for them, everybody talked about them, they had haters, dozens, they were THAT famous, they were untouchable for their fans like snsd, no one broke it like them internationally.
