Thanks again for documenting another story of Helene's damage. These folks are indeed fortunate and grateful for their situation. Thanks again to Jake for his excellent work and giving heart.
Thank you for the excellent job your doing with these videos. No politics or conspiracy theories just honest hard working Americans helping Americans, no party nonsense. Together we can accomplish anything. The amount of money and supplies being donated is mind blowing. These are the type of videos that put faces and stories in front of people so they can see the need of these folks and the good hearts of those affected and of the volunteers who have spent an untold amount of hours helping others . Thanks john. Stay safe out there
Heavenly Father, I pray that you are helping people see and show your love. I am accustom to tornadoes, here in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, but this is worse than anything I have seen in my life. I ask that you help these wonderful people to see your Grace. You will recover and rebuild. My prayers are with y'all. God Bless!
What an interesting video. Quite the transitioning experience for these folks, indeed! I hope they can recover. And, I hope they don't give up on their quaint little wilderness sanctuary!
For the various kinds of loss here in this place. I express my deepest deepest condolences. Certain damages can never bring back what was, can not be saved and will never be the same. Dreams that probably could NEVER be forgotten. Heartbreaking. But it is what it is. God will still be God. Glad the name of Jesus was uplifted. He is our wounded healer. Blessings.
Thank you so much John for sharing your story from the effects of Helene, you are keeping us updated on how things are going for the families that were affected by the storm , UNLIKE the media ! May the Lord bless all of the families that have been affected and also bless yiu for all you are doing ! Prayers for ALL ! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wonderful video, this is important for people to see, hopefully it will generate more donations- 💰 💸 and volunteers 🙋♂️ 🙋♀️. Keep the videos coming ,so people won't forget, that this is not over. LIFE IS FULL OF DISTRACTIONS. we know, There's a lot more to be done. God bless your beautiful Carolinas, Tennessee Appalachia 🙏 ❤ The Love and Respect is 100% real. Prayers still going up, because we also know the winter is coming. 🥶 hopefully God is merciful and it won't get that cold 🙏
Jake is a wonderful and talented human being! Thanks John for sharing these stories of those impacted by Hurricane Helene in the Appalachian Mtns! There is real hope!
I'm originally from Florida but live in Spartanburg SC and yes we got hit but nothing like these people I wanna thank everyone ❤️🙏 for your hard time sweat for helping a fellow man There are a few real people that understands
I lived beside a creek for a while and loved it. I didn't love the flooding occasionally. This looks like such a beautiful place and there's no way I would abandon it.... I pray everyday for these folks their steadfast determination to rebuild and carry on is a testament to the American spirit.
God bless this family!! They seem close knit and resilient and I hope their future is where they decide to be…either in this lovely home or elsewhere where flooding isn’t an issue!❤
Ellie, if you see this, I want you to know you can take some hardwood or softwood clippings from your great grandmother's azaleas and grow new bushes. 🫶 I am keeping everyone affected by the evil hurricane Helene in my prayers. John, thank you for sharing these videos of this catastrophic event, the recovery, and people's experiences and stories. I believe the land will be beautiful again. The loss of life is heart wrenching, and loss of properties is crushing, and I hope people can find hope and peace in all of this. There are so many extraordinary people like Jake and yourself making a huge difference in people's lives, and what a blessing y'all are. Thank y'all so much. Have a beautiful, blessed day. 🙏
Hi John , Thank you for your continued documentation , and interviewing residents, and letting them tell their stories. Appreciate your coverage of what is happening in the multiple areas of western north Carolina .
Awesome people John are the people saving the good wood for firewood and how are they disposing of the brush and trees. I know there's a landfill taking trees in S.Carolina and they make mulch I guess they're probably burning abit to. It's great to see the people helping each other it's definitely more than fema or any government agencies are doing. Stay Safe John and thoughts and prayers to all.
I was wondering also what they are doing with those huge logs ?? They are worth a lot of money. I can’t believe people aren’t piling and selling them. Maybe they don’t know. I’m sure they have a lot of things to consider but up here I’m Wisconsin those huge logs being good money !!
looks like those ladies will be o.k. but it will be nicer once things gets back to normal for them its just mind blowing how many volunteers have showed up to help good job people !!!
John, your videos are helping everyone know the trials these folks are facing. It is heartwarming to see the good being done. I know they will pay it forward. I pray for those less fortunate to find a place to stay. The landscape is always evolving and I am thankful for our being spared at our house. We have areas around us here in east Tennessee that have been hit hard. Community is making the difference. Things will get better in time. I'm sorry for lives lost. Animals and people are traumatized. But faith will pull us through. God bless!
Jake does outstanding work, he know that machines abilities and works miracles with. Thank you John for sharing the video and Jake all your hard work. May the God Bless all of the families that have been affected by Helene’s flooding.
John, your reporting brings out how traumatic an event like this is, even for those who didn't lose everything. Thank you so much. Keep them coming. And thank you for the work you do. I have a channel. I know how much work is involved behind the scenes that no one knows about.
I sent a check to Precision Grading. People watching this video, pony up if you can and contribute. Diesel fuel is almost $4 a gallon and that excavator probably uses 1 gallon of fuel for every hour it runs--not to mention maintenance costs on that machine.
I Pray For All Victims Of Hurricane Helene. It’s Seems Like All The Stories Of The Victims Near Water Are Same. The Creek Was Calm. Then All Of Sudden It Started To Over Flow Into Our Land Destroying Everything In Its Path.
Sad seeing these 2 young lady's trying to hold it together. It will be ok you will come back.and never be to proud to take help from others God bless yous.
I live in the UK and some parts of our coastline are eroding so quickly, whole villages are falling into the sea, and inland, where rivers run through towns, houses are flooding regularly, even where flood barriers, which look so ugly, have been installed. Climate change is so scary 😢. Selling a house in an area which regularly floods now is so difficult, as getting a mortgage is impossible. On the flip side, our government is still allowing house building on flood plains, which used to protect the surrounding areas.
SMH, That Music if you listen to the Words if who don’t get tearful……Florida goes threw hurricanes all the time, but this area/Mountains never so this is catastrophe, God Bless all of these Peoples ❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸
I have to disagree with the lady saying this is the new normal. I understand they had flooding last year as well, but this level of flooding hasn’t occurred since 1916. This was a once in a generation event. Of course there is risk when living near water, but it isn’t unsafe.
This makes my husband and I think about a second way out of our property. They have a beautiful piece of land. I would be a little afraid of the train going by though.
Many many thnx John Ward n your crew for all you’re doing and bringing the destruction to light to help us understand what these folks are enduring!! Your heart can’t get any bigger!❤
Looks like this family has power with the lil outside porch lights!! I might be wrong about that!! So the front side of their house is fine but their storage space took on water and they lost their short bridge but the house itself is in good shape. The well may need tended to!!
We just left FL now full time in E TN. We know to well what hurricanes can do! Is this a mom and son? Wasnt sure if they were related I do like his sweater. I wish them many blessings!
John, can you give us just the first 3:18 minutes, just the song with the video behind it? I would love to forward that far and wide. Best song I've heard in a while, beautifully and compassionately speaks to the situation. And perhaps a note about how the song came about.
As a native of coastal NC, I can tell you that there's no state with so much to offer as NC. Just about everything plants, wildlife, bodies of water and it's inhabitants, and people grows and thrives here. It's made to sustain life. Every place in the US is susceptible to nature! Pick your battles! The Bible has warned us about the weather and climate forever. Some choose to ignore God, but it won't change the facts. I'd like to think those lost were actually saved from a world full of growing evil ( just like the days of Noah) . I hope he calls my name soon in exchange for eternity. This life has never been the end goal!! ❤❤❤
Would like to know if people could use sleeping bags. Or would blankets be better. Also where would I be able to sent them. Because there is no mail in many places yet. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Thank you John for lighting a lamp to these folks. Despite the flooding, the area is still very beautiful as are the people ❤️
Beautiful people with great spirits. I really admire you. Ya’ll are the lights that are shining in the dark
Thanks again for documenting another story of Helene's damage. These folks are indeed fortunate and grateful for their situation. Thanks again to Jake for his excellent work and giving heart.
I am in total awe of all of you Your resilience is incredible! Love and prayers for all

What an amazing channel this has become! I have never seen this level of generosity anywhere else! Western North Carolina truly is God’s country!
John, thanks for documenting these stories of restoration. Jake does amazing work!
Definitely ❤
Some things can never be restored in this side of heaven. But we have much to look forward to IN Jesus.
Thank you for sharing what lovely folk's. ...I grew up in Beverly Hills Asheville NC. ..and will return .....long live our North Carolina homes!

We are living at home again!
I didn’t know the digger was not just clearing up debris but building a burrum. Great machine operator and planner. Thank you from Minnesota.
Great Video John, thanks for sharing ❤
We are better together. Well said! 💪
Best introduction song ever. Great choice John.
Isaiah 6:8 says,
"And I heard the Voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?' Then I said, 'Here I am! Send me'".

John Beautiful Music--who sings it. May God keep helping the people in need and Thank you for covering this.
I come and ride my bike in ur area and stay at cabin fever yearly. I love. My thoughts are with your community
Great story showing the personal and up close tragedy so many have experienced because of Helene. Love the song? Who wrote and performed it?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mountains do protect from Hurricanes if not man made. Thanks to Jake
Not sure what the song was with the intro, but it was really good. Sums it up nicely. Maybe a good idea for a fundraiser.
Looks like this family has power with the lil outside porch lights!! I might be wrong about that!! So the front side of their house is fine but their storage space took on water and they lost their short bridge but the house itself is in good shape. The well may need tended to!!
I grew up in Michigan, still here. Every place I have wanted to move too. It's no longer safe.❤ I hope to visit next year.
The dust makes everyone's voice soo raspy =( Thanks John
We just left FL now full time in E TN. We know to well what hurricanes can do! Is this a mom and son? Wasnt sure if they were related I do like his sweater. I wish them many blessings!
👌Excellent👌 video
A whole new recovery economy is being built around all the destruction these stronger storms are causing. Lots of hard work ahead.

John our church has about 50 blankets to send. They are kids size about 10 and younger. Do you know where there would be a need for them?
See John's next video - When Helene hit Erwin..... He has where to send donations in video description❤
