    Breonna Taylor was NOT shot while sleeping in her bed, she was awake, in her hallway. She was NOT an EMT at the time of her death; she was forced to quit YEARS ago, because a dead body was found in a car rented under her name; the victim was an "associate" of her drug dealing boyfriend. Even though a "no-knock" warrant WAS issued, the officers DID knock. Her neighbors testified under oath, that the police announced themselves BEFORE trying to enter her apartment. Her boyfriend shot a cop, BEFORE police fired their first round. She was STILL aiding and abetting her previous boyfriend's drug dealing operation; she and her car were surveilled delivering drugs to his "trap house" on numerous occasions. She was STILL stashing his drug money at her house. Her address was on record as being his current address on bank records. Her ex-boyfriend blamed her at-the-time boyfriend for her death, NOT the police. For the uneducated and willfully ignorant: It was NOT the DA who determined the police officers should not be indicted, it was a GRAND JURY, the most impartial of all arbiters. Her name, address and vehicle WERE on the warrant. The Left and media HAVE been lying to you! It's unfortunate that she was shot and died, but the police did NOTHING wrong. If people want to BLM(Burn, Loot, Murder) over the grand jury's decision, apply the law to THEM. Breonna was involved with, and profiting from drug trafficking. Blame her, her boyfriend or her ex-boyfriend for her death, NOT the police.

    Has it ocurred to anyone outside of law enforcement that if this had actually been a no knock raid, then she might not be dead? The entire reason No-knock exists is because once you tell someone that the police are there and their intention is to arrest you, you have a couple of choices, and one of them is resisting arrest violently. It's entirely possible that if they hadn't knocked first, and had just barged in, the boyfriend wouldn't have had his gun in hand and there wouldn't have been a shoot-out.

    • @cliff7641
      @cliff7641 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Steve White They exist for a reason and I gave the reason. People can, and do, get involved in shootouts with police when it wouldn't make rational sense to do so. My point is, this is not a case against no-knock raids. But it might very well confirm the reason for them, because a shoot-out did occur after they knocked and announced themselves.

    • @RandomizedCTRL

      I agree that it would be tactically better.
      But you need to grant your citizens the optionvof surrendering & cooperating of their own free will.
      When you always go in guns blazing (no pun intended) because you expect resistance anyway and because you're sure no one will get hurt that way you set a bad precedent.
      It should not be the case that innocent people (and they are innocent by definition until they're proven guilty) can be violently arrested and their property destroyed in the arrest without them coming peacefully.

      @@justinperdue7703 responsibility and ways to mitigate a fatal outcome are two separate but related issues. My point was that there are ways to try and lessen the chance of a fatal shoot out during the course of an arrest and no knock raids are one of those ways.
      Thats all assuming that there are some compelling reasons to arrest the person in question, which would imply there were some poor life choices already made. But one of the terrible truths in life is that sometimes, others suffer for your own poor choices, hence, sometimes, others have to account for and try to mitigate the potential damage done by your poor choices.

    Ok...so my thoughts on this : I am a left leaning voter in the UK, there seems to be a complete perversion of labelling these days, the people who are doing these protests in the name of BLM (which has become just a means to riot) aren't left wing, they are arseholes, just like someone who are labelled fascists aren't right wing, they are also arseholes. It does left wing AND right wing voters a disservice to have such abhorrent behaviour linked to their political leanings.
    So, on to the Breonna Taylor case.... it seems silly to me to think its anything other than the police defending themselves from her partner, granted it wasn't a good outcome that she was shot, but if you sleep with the dogs you get fleas, by being with her partner doing what he did, she knowingly put herself in a situation which would increase the risk of a bad outcome, be it from the police or the circles they would have associated with, it was unintentional that she was shot, just because she was black and was shot by the police doesn't mean that it was racist.

    • @dc4457
      @dc4457 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      "just because she was black and was shot by the police doesn't mean that it was racist."
      Unfortunately, if you are African American there is a tendency to think that all cops are racist and that police are more violent toward black people because of racism. Meanwhile, if you are a cop in America and you have any interaction with a black person, they are likely to be hostile and uncooperative or even violent (because they think you are a racist), so you respond to that hostility and the threat of violence by going in expecting to use force. It is a vicious circle and a self-fulfilling prophecy and I don't know of any way out.

      Half and half, you knock evidence can get destroyed, you don't shoots can be fired. So there's the real issue

      No-knock warrants should not be a thing for a low-level drug dealers, only in very serious situations

      It’s not exactly easy to obtain a no knock warrant. It has to be appointed by judge. So they do take things to accountable before appointing it. It’s not randomly granted.

    The lengths people will go to defend the death of a criminal so long as they're of chocolate descent.
    Unbelievable.

      That’s a tough subject. Weed, alcohol ok? Heroin? Meth? Where is the line drawn. I’m with you mostly just curious

    • @expiredclan4473
      @expiredclan4473 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zacharyb8107You would think it is hard, but if you think about it, there are plenty of indicators of whether or not drugs should or should not be legal.
      Well first, what are the effects of the drug, how potent are they? How impaired do they make someone? Could someone still function properly if needed to? How much control does someone have of themselves when they are on the drug?
      What effects do the drugs have on the body and mind? Are they temporary, are they permanent? Does it cause you to hallucinate?
      How addictive is a drug? Does it have the potential of being highly abused? Will it ruin someone's life?
      Does the body produce the chemical naturally or is it purely synthetic?
      If someone did the drug everyday, could they still live day to day without losing touch of reality? because when drugs are legal you are giving them the opportunity to do them everyday. (alcohol and weed, wouldn.t be too bad, doing things like LSD everyday would probably distort reality and cause something like schizophrenia)
      These are just some of the questions that biochemists and psychologists in the FDA have to ask themselves to see if a drug should be legal or not. We also have to consider the nature of ourselves as Americans. In Asia, alcohol is sold in vending machines because people don't abuse drugs in china like people do in America. This is likely the reason psilocybin (mushrooms) is legal in places like Amsterdam, but not in the states.
      Hope this helps.
