Cops should still be held accountable if its true he had a warrant why did they let him walk to his care without apprehending they created the situation by being scared of doing there job.
Miguel Romo another video from the opposite angle shows two of the police officers attempting to arrest Jacob Blake on the ground. Jacob Blake resisted arrest and got up. The other video that was shown by the media starts at this point.

The information presented at the time was that police responded to a domestic abuse call so they came expecting violence. They get there and the guys acting like you’d expect a boy who beats his wife would act so they move to detain him. He then violently pushed the officers off him and goes to reach in his car, not get in it, but reach in to it. So he could’ve had literally anything in there the officers couldn’t see what he was going for so they put him down.thats actually exactly how it’s supposed to be handled, if after several warnings go to get something out of the car you shoot them. If they’d have tased him and he was getting a gun then his body might have convulsed and made him shoot the kids in the back seat. Or since it was a domestic abuse he might’ve been trying to get one of the kids to use as a human shield. I mean the guys trash so anything’s possible. The media however instead of seeing what actually happened decided to go ahead and post the story knowing full well what would happen, and in their initial story they were saying that racism played a role when it clearly did not. So yes the media is at fault in every single one of these cases they do it on purpose for better ratings. If more people believe your bullshit and aren’t smart enough to think for themselves then they will keep coming back whenever you post anything. It’s all about the money

I disagree, more people should take the responsibility for sifting the truth from multiple sources. YOU are responsible for what you believe, whom you listen too, decisions you make from this, its veracity etc, and more important, any decision of action from that belief.

There should be huge disclaimers "THESE STATEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN VERIFIED" or "THESE STATEMENTS ARE OPINION ONLY", with stiff fines for non compliance. You can't expect people to do their own research and critical thinking when half the population, statistically, has an IQ below 100.

With this situation; I understand if the cop felt he was in danger so his reaction was to shoot. I’m more concerned with the lack of control in the officer’s emotions, and failure to de escalate the situation.
Though the protesting is definitely reactionary, I think it’s a call for change in the policing system. Do you think the policing system can me improved? I think so.
However you feel, whatever your religion is; a life is a life. And that life is gone (I know he didn’t die); that affected more than Blake. The kids. The family.
I really want people to look into their heart. Try to empathize, you don’t have to agree politically, just understand that’s still a human being.
I also followed Shapiro but I’ve come to figure out he gets many things wrong or distorted. I hope he’s intentionally lying; else he’s just stupid.

The media should be held accountable if their reporting of “facts” can be shown to directly incite violence where individuals are hurt, killed, or a certain amount of property damage, public/private takes place. LenaMay the sad thing is that, despite George Floyd not being a perfect citizen, his death was wrong. And because of all the crap that has followed, that is lost. Now every single time a black persons is killed or injured, it is automatically racist and the police are at fault. In most of the cases, it is the fault of the suspect due to their actions. And this case is definitely the fault of the suspect.
And for those that wish to argue that Floyd was to blame, you are just wrong and are idiots. He died as the direct result of the actions of the police that day. Yes he resisted at first, but once he was calm, there was no need to remain kneeling on his neck. Don’t care about his past, his medical condition,or if he was on drugs. He served his time for his past and was in no distress until the police held him down on the ground. All the police had to do was sit him up once they had him cuffed, but they chose not too. Even after he was unresponsive, the cop continued to kneel on him for almost 3 minutes. That cop was a hothead and had no business being on the force. Whether or not he was a racist, can’t say for sure, but I doubt it. He just wasn’t mentally fit to deal with the stress of being a cop. He couldn’t separate doing his job and taking what happened to him personally. Not taking things personally is not easy, especially if someone tries to harm you, but it is a quality that good cops have and all cops should.

Jacob Blake fought with the police at first, then refused to comply, went to his car, opened the car door and reached inside the car He also has a history of assaulting police and violently resisting arrest. As far as police knew he was going for a weapon. A natural reaction by anybody would be to shoot him in their own defence. This guy had outstanding warrants and should have complied with police directions. As far as I and many others are concerned, he brought this all on himself ! It doesn't matter that he was black. A white person doing the same thing would deserve the same outcome period! While I feel sorry for him and his family, the fact remains that he deserved what he got!

I saw worse "[sic] Black man shot by police after breaking up a dispute and going to his car to check on his children" not exactly wording but that was the content exactly!
The problem is that ideology has become evidence in and of itself. Thus, rather than gathering and weighing competing evidence, people rely upon their ideological convictions as the only evidence necessary to judge all matters of life.

That’s funny a friend of mine was arrested and thrown in jail for almost 9 months under a charge of terroristic treats for standing on his porch with a baseball bat and yelling at a tow truck driver because he thought he was stealing his truck. Turns out Blake had a knife, he confirmed it himself. There is a witness who confirms the officer was telling him to drop the knife before he shot. Apparently it pays to wait for the whole story before make judgments.

So either the cops stop him and any possible causalities, or he gets shot and someone gets stabbed. I don't agree with the cops shooting him, they had many chances to stop him without guns considering there was already many of them there, however Jacob could of also just as easily stopped and avoided being just completely.
