~500whp IS300 owner here. Built that way for a reason - better response, no real need for antilag which makes it way easier to compete in an impromptu roll race against blown V8 cars, still faster than 97.5% of the cars out there.
@@sasukesuchiha93 It's an NA-T. GTE rods/pistons otherwise engine stock. Old Toyomoto cast log manifold and Master Power T-70 turbo. Link G4x ECU. T56 magnum. Figs suspension with Eibach/Bilstein. IS350 14" brakes. Tried to do a really clean, OEM-looking setup. If interested, I documented it pretty thoroughly on the my.is forum. I think YT censors links - so search that forum for "makeover" and my thread will be first result.

I've had a 600whp IS300 turbo with a 6spd V160 swapped in. It was fast enough to beat almost anything on the street. Perfect daily driver power. I think 1000hp would be to much and not as fun. It would become a weekend only kind of car. Because the power isnt until the higher RPMs.
@@kuurizzo1896 agreed for me too, I can use the 600 everywhere… and it lights up like a light bulb. Plus I hook everywhere with 255/40 square r888r’s. Bigger power means bigger tires, less comfort, etc. I’m happy with my setup and it’ll stay here. It’s built for 1000+ but what’s the point if ya don’t use it! In Jared’s case though… he uses it, so that’s the right setup for him!
