- For our final day of Rock Bouncer Takeover at Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane, Utah we hit a bunch of awesome trails for some Trail Bouncing action. I was excited to have a borrowed rig for the day with rear steer. It has been a long time since I wheeled something that had rear steer and I picked it right back up and really enjoyed myself on these technical trails while rock bouncer rock crawling. We started with Plan B Trail and then worked out way over to the Ledges followed by the Maze. We then ended the day with Mind Threat. These are not the most difficult trails at the park but they are some fun technical ones to cap off an amazing trip of rock bouncer trail riding. Highlight of the day was hitting You got to be nuts and you got to be totally nuts on the Maze Trail. These are some really fun optional climbs that are crazy steep. Overall it was an amazing trip and we couldn't be happier with how well our Busted Knuckle rock bouncer buggies performed in this unique terrain.

Bouncers have got to be the baddest hotrods on planet earth. Definitely a personal favorite of mine
We love them.
Nothing beats the versatility
I've had so much fun watching y'all crawl with bouncers. Looks like a real good time. Thanks y'all for the show
Glad you enjoyed it
For the part of your team that's never been to SandHollow, I'm sure they are shocked when they see those unique rock formations, that they are still on planet earth.
It is like being on another planet for sure. Some of these guys have never been west of the Mississippi River 😬
You guys are awesome, I love the green color one and wish I could own it , but all of you just nailed sand hollow great video post 🤠👍
It was an awesome week out there
Great footage thanks for taking us along
Glad you enjoyed
Hope you had some fun out here in the desert southwest and look forward to seeing you again.
We had a blast and can’t wait to come back for more:
Looks like a nice Sunday drive, certainly wasn't much of a challenge for most of yous, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
It was a pretty easy day for us. The 7-8 rated trails are super easy it's the 9-10 and up that get challenging
really beautiful places 😉👌 beautiful vehicles, 😜👍 and great drivers 💪🤪 Great party 🎉👍 greetings from Europe 🍻🙋🏻
Thanks!
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
Morning!
Awesome videos guys. The other set of guys riding that week was us. Great to meet you guys on The Fallen, with the exception of Matt who wasn't there yet.
Hate that stupid balloon made me miss the fallen. Good thing I had already done it once before in my RZR.
@@BustedKnuckleVideohow long do you get on a tank of gas driving like this? I don’t see jerrycans on your buggies anywhere.
@@jimjack4147 all day
So So Kool You Guys Decided To Do Sand Hollow it's a blast in Side-by-sides But ROCKBOUNCERS EVEN BETTER I truly enjoyed watching u guys/gals 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
This so cool on the Sand 👍☺️
They are tons of fun in the sand 🤘
Looks like a fun trail
4 fun trails
Now that was really cool man
some amazing terrain out there
That would be fun now
We had a ton of fun out there
Amazing track
loved it out there
I enjoy watching your channel and at some point could ya'll break down the cost of major components for the build? Considering a 392 Rubicon upgrade in the future, and yes 80k seems pricey for a hobby only vehicle but yeah.. Digging it!
There are more budget friendly ways to build them. You can buy just a chassis and do the rest or you could do a roller and add your own drivetrain. The biggest expenses are the drivetrain. Engine, trans, tcase, axles etc.
You guys are starting to convince me that they may indeed be the best do it all rig. And I’m a Utah native. Do you feel a tighter converter would help on the crawling side of things ?
The converter isn’t an issue. If I lived in utah and wanted one of these buggies I would probably order it with lower axle gears like a 5.13 or get it with a 3.8 atlas. These all have 4.88 gears and 3.0 case.
Happy Sunday Morning Everyone 😎🌅🌼
Good morning!
This video really puts into perspective how freaking good Matt's on moor morvair works
I'll have to look it up
Camera absolutely does no justice for any of these climbs, they are huge. You gotta see them in person. Sandhollow is 100% a place you need to visit if your into offroad.
It’s an amazing place to wheel for sure
Sick. Can’t script those smiles
Didn't realize hurricanes were such a meteorological menace in Utah.
Yeah man it’s all that ocean front property there.
You need to link up with Paul Cox. He can show you guys the spots to hit
Never heard of him. What does he wheel?
He has an old Toyota FJ with a bed he as a YT channel called fab rats. Great guy and has a square body Chevy with 1 tons that’s a wrecker.
@@williamdouglas1996 ahh I’ll look him up
Ya'll missed the soup bowl in the maze, that would have been fun to watch.
Not sure how we missed that
Need to try 21 road out here in western Colorado
would love to do some colorado wheeling
It's also funny how this plays into the Rc world. Specifically the Axial Ryft which I'm pretty sure they stole your chassis design but anyway lol everyone hates on them as Crawlers but they make awesome Crawlers and can go up just about anything the designed Crawlers can.
Yeah they totally copied gold rush and then admitted to it. 😂
@@BustedKnuckleVideo oh damn! They actually admitted it lol that's wild.
Driving like you are in these videos, how long do you get on a tank of fuel? I don’t see extra jerrycans.
They have 16-22 gal fuel tanks so we can ride all day without worrying about fuel
And the best part of Sand Hollow: you can call several guys with a TH-cam cannel if you break down... 😂😁😇✌️
Matt: Matt's Offroad Recovery
Rory: Trail Mater
Paul: Fab Rats
Haven't needed a recovery in one of these but Rory got a rzr out of Pritchett one time for a guy in the group we were riding with- th-cam.com/video/GljSrNM6OGM/w-d-xo.html
Why you dont go to mond Everest and concer that mondten.
Greeting from Belgium and my Georges.
That would be an expensive haul bill for these buggies 😂
Lol
Awesome video, I can’t even imagine having that amount of traction!
Does anyone know how heavy one of these rock bouncers is fuelled up and ready to roll? What wheelbase is typical? What diameter of half shafts do they use? What kind of crawl ratio do they have?
They are around 4300lbs on average, 125" wheelbase, 3:1 case with 4.88 axle gears
@@BustedKnuckleVideo
Cheers for the response!!
Can I pick your brains please? After watching your videos I want to locate my dampers on my lower links. I have 7075 lower links with a 2 1/2” diameter and 1.25” rod ends. My rig will have around 3000lb sprung weight. I’m really struggling positioning dampers on the axles. Do you think those little rod ends with 3/4” bolts will handle using 2.5” air shocks as dampers?
I’m using all 24” of the stroke of hydraulic cylinders as springs and my air shocks have a 16” stroke and I want to use the lowers for their motion ratio but I’m just not sure they’ll be up to it?
👍
🤘
I think lowering the tire pressure would help even more, what are your thoughts?
Didn’t really find a reason to go down past our normal 6-8psi
@@BustedKnuckleVideo that's perfect pressure for sandstone! (Local)

6:19 is where I’m at I’ll be back shortly
Gotta watch it all and not miss a minute

You are in Matt's off-road recovery territory you should look him up while you're there
He drove by at one point while we were out there
how many of the buggies in this video were built by BK?
All of them.
I think you guys should have window net's.
Why do you think that? Do Jeeps have window nets? 🤔
Just if you roll over and your arm goes out the opening and gets ripped off. I don't know I was pretty much asking.
Those are for racing
I love your bouncers and videos but just think there's a man been on most every one of those trails in a tow truck
He has been on a bunch of them but I highly doubt he did all the climbs that we did.
What gps map of the area are you using I couldn’t hear it on your UDIO
CARTO TRACKS
I thought Matt had a rear steer buggy?
The first one I ever had was rear steer but the white one has always been just a drag axle rear.
Equals rigs , did y’all notice where one sticky tire out preformed the other ?!
Not really. There is so much traction out there. I would assume the treps would do better as they have more tire on the ground due to their closer cut tread design but not enough to make it worth the extra money that they cost.
i dont need a bouncer, I dont need a bouncer, I dont need a bouncer.......
But don’t you? 😬
You might not need one but you really really want one.
you can ride a BUNCER on a public road in America 🤔❓
In the right places yes 😬
I don't think KOH looked that much fun at all unless you are going to race but that's just my opinion
We have done it for 11 years and it just isn’t the same anymore. It’s cool to watch on the live feed but I think we will spend our money to go ride somewhere new each year.
Matt get r done
We did just that
VERDAMMT habt IHR es gut 😢😢 Deutschland ist so langweilig ☹️☹️
We are lucky here for sure
