Brakes will squeak when wet and since it’s new pads on an old rotor, bed them to help mate both surfaces. You already cleaned the rotors and caliper best you could, so that helps a lot. If you really wanna do it right, replace pads and rotors and bed them. But that’s really not necessary since eventually it will squeak again.
I got a freego x2 but the brakes dont lock up the tire at all, especially w one finger. Not ideal for learning wheelies. Can you suggest a rear brake for me to put on it... cheap as possible but that is great for learning wheelies?
This is the cheapest option I could find that seems to fit the freego amzn.to/4hfo5i7 But I’d also recommend the Magura mt5. That’s what I have amzn.to/3Yhe0bW
My Surron light bee X 2023 brakes only squeek when its raining. My rear tire could lock easily with full stock brakes. Weird to see yours doing squeeks anytime. Im changing my pads now cuase i started to learn wheelies and i didnt change the pads yet while having 3.5k KM on it. Great video tho
They’re the Shinko 244s. Yes they fit on my stock 19. It’s 2.75-19”. I can’t seem to find the link to them on Amazon but here’s a link to the 241s amzn.to/4gVuWxd

Heard that! That’s good info thank you. Ya I’ve just accepted that they’re gonna squeak
Thanks man helped a lot.
Glad I could help!

@@AdamEspositoYT awesome thank you! The magura looks great. It will fit the freego x2 rotor fine? I wont need to buy a specific rotor for it?
@@Maverick098-m5b good question. I dont know if they’ll fit the rotors on the freego. They look a bit smaller
@@Maverick098-m5b maguras fit the 203 mm rotor size. And can go bigger with a caliper adapter
Hey you got the link to that funnel you used to get the bubbles out? Thanks again!

Which brakes are better for the surron - shimano H03C or HO3A?
Non resin have turned out to be better. I also have since upgraded my brakes to MT5s and 220mm rotors
@@AdamEspositoYT I think I need to add a new chain. Have you done that yet? Also have you changed the 48t sprocket to anything else?
Nice video!
Thank you!
what rear tyre is that? and can it fit on the stock rims?

Lol no way, we got the same alarm on the bike (noticed the remote attached to the key)
Are the front breaks pads the same for the rear ?
Yes they are
For the brake bleeding, aren’t you supposed to remove the old brake fluid or not?
If it’s bad yes but sometimes you just have to get air bubbles out
@@AdamEspositoYT I had it bled at a bike shop and don’t know what oil they used, is mixing brands okay or should I completely flush it to be safe
Dont forget to bed the brakes.
You may still have air in the caliper. Becuse you didnt bleed that.
Your breaks should lock up easy.
They squeak because you have resin pads
Get the ho3c metal onea
It’s YOUR fault
