Thank you! This collection took years to build up to this point but fortunately I was able to grab most of these before the CRT drought in my area started around a year or two ago. Tubes still do occasionally come and go from this collection but I'm pretty happy with everything I have now!
I worked at Walmart in their electronics department from 2000-2003 and the Panasonic Tau was a fantastic CRT television set. They performed well and we never got them returned for reliability problems.
You would think I would but shockingly I do not! I did own a BVM-1910 for a time and I've had plenty of experience with a few different models (one of my friends has a PVM-2530 and another has a 14L5). Sure a well calibrated production monitor looks phenomenal, but I'm just a big fan of consumer sets. I know I'm an outlier with this opinion but it's a more enjoyable experience for me playing something on a woodgrain RF-only consumer set than seeing it pixel perfect on a PVM.
Hello fellow AG500r owner, I love that you have a custom made acrylic screen for it and I was wondering if you have any step by step of how to make one for the AG500r. Mine doesn't have a screen protector on it but I would have to have one on it.
For the cover I made, I simply found a piece of acrylic and cut it to roughly the same size as the bezel around the screen. It's a tight enough fit that the tension keeps the panel in place. I did a sloppy job cutting it though, so when I get a darker sheet to replace it with I'm going to take my time getting it as perfect as I can!
Just found your channel, excellent collection. Big CRT fans here in Katy, TX. Subbd. BTW your Sega Genesis will output RGB as standard, as will the SNES, just grab and adapter and an RGB cable.
Did your parents have one of the first or later Winnebago motorhomes (Indian, Chieftain or Brave)? Tonka made a bunch of those scale model ones like 45-55 years ago.
A few years ago before I bought these racks I had originally stored my televisions rather precariously stacked up in a closet as well, the racks definitely made for a better way of both storing them safely and as a means for displaying them when not in use! Well worth the investment.
Lovely collection! I'm super jelly!

amazing collection
That small Panasonic is one of the very first TV/VCR Combos in the world.
Have you watched This Old House and New Yankee Workshop growing up? It’s the first ever home improvement and project shows.
Awesome video 🙌 looking forward to more CRT content
Thank you! There's definitely more to come after this.
Very nice collection. No interest in pvms?

Where’s your modern gaming setups with the modern consoles and big HDTVs?
🤘📺
You didn’t show one of the shelves that contained the 2 newer smaller Trinitrons and one Toshiba.

Another traffic light in your living room, but it’s multi sided.
I would do away the 32" Sony. It ruins the space in the room :).
