Moonstone Island is a creature-collecting life-sim set in an open world with 100+ islands to explore. Make friends, brew potions, collect Spirits, and test your strength in card-based encounters to complete your Alchemy training! It's Like Stardew Valley Mixed With Pokémon, Zelda & Animal Crossing. It's a super fun Faming game like Stardew or Coral Island, so I decided I needed to do a challenge run for it!

the exploit thing aside, he also had so much better luck with the bosses on a few occasions so like. in my heart you're the winner, for still managing to tie despite having way harder armor/resist stuff to deal with at certain points lol
what are the chances that the game wasn't rigged from devs side
Seanie is 100% who every game developer needs to send a copy to just to find hidden bugs.
I love devs and players interacting with each other. It was super cool watching this live.

to be fair the fact that you discovered all those glitches in the first place gives you already more points towards winning and the guy cheated lol
if the chat didnt rat out the glitches he would have won handedly even with all the bad luck at th start.
This was an incredible race! I wish chat weren’t rats but you performed fantastically, definitely would have had the win had chat not been involved!
It feels pretty weird to me how much rng decides this run when you both have the same seed. Surprising to me that so many of those things aren't dictated by seed but by some other rng factor.
I guess the seed only determines where islands spawn
Seed could literally determine everything, it's just that they immediately take different actions causing things to diverge wildly. It's essentially the butterfly effect. It might be that as long as they're taking the exact same actions everything is the same. But we can't be sure without looking at the code.

This seems like such a cool game, I can see this game having an incredible speedrunning community, the different exploits and strats you pull of look really fun. I'd definitely buy the game on release, if I had the money.

This game is just so neat, and as an aspiring Game Audio Designer, I really do like the music and sound effects. That and games with a retro-esce (?) feeling/look to them are just very cool.

That was an amazing video. Sure I got clickbaited but I gotta say it was definitely not expected and I liked not knowing who would actually win until the end. Here's to hoping I win a free game lol.
The fact the Seanie had worse luck in of it all but still manage to get super close to winning tells you he knows what he's doing. It's really impressive. Speed running in general is pretty impressive but to do it by just the information the he found on his own since the game is so new is amazing.
Your passion for this game has been really wild, and I'm loving seeing the devs recognize it!

i am just going to say you are the winner, he clearly put the stats into his favour with how much luck things he got in a row, you got the better upgrades, and if you guys werent streaming at the same time, he couldnt use YOUR glitches basically and he would be still at 2 less than yours
