I told them we had new one for £40 or £30 for a second hand one still sealed. They paid £40 for the new one not traded in… even though the case was never opened.

I asked him if he stopped playing games since he always came in. He said he read an article on how the lasers could blind you and didn’t want to risk going blind. People have all sorts of reasons.
It’s honestly such a good deal, if you’re in the market for 1-3 year old devices then this is literally a free discount since you’re getting as close to a brand new device directly from apple. Of course if you don’t care then you can get much better deals elsewhere but if you’re wanting that apple guarantee as well as 1 year of apple care then there’s nothing better then going certified refurbished
From the three I have purchased now in total, getting my mum one for Christmas too, they always look brand new and come with a new battery, so for me if I gave you a new phone and a refurb, you wouldn't be able to tell in any way which is which.
original is just a brand new unopened iphone while a refurbished is a used iphone that has been checked for its condition with minimal damage and ready to sell for a lower price
On the website it says new battery and new outer shell but I’m not sure what outer shell would include. They wouldn’t replace that back glass would they?
Outer shell must include the back glass. Otherwise, it would essentially just be the front screen in which case they would say front screen, but the few I’ve seen of all looked immaculate.

@saintlacke4174 because it was a refurbished phone. So it was sent back to Apple with it 14 day cooling off period. They will change the casing if not close to immaculate , battery anything that could had degraded. The main board, camera, speakers and other parts as long as they are working as they should will remain the same.
Apple refurbished was never actually sold in store (If you buy from the apple website). It had a problem while in testing so it didn't make it to the store. So they send it to a apple certified place and they find the problem and then put it on apple refurbished after renewing everything. If you use your iphone and return it, it doesn't go to apple refurbished it gets recycled. So your getting a new iphone for cheaper and got all the apple benefits.

What if the phones were hacked/ cloned? Wouldn’t the refurbished phone cause issues for the new owner
