@@oldschoolscannerbuff If you have the controller connected to constant power or even to key on, if you press one of the buttons, the light connected to that button will activate
GREAT BUTNTHE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS DO I NEED TOHAVE THE 4200DL ON OR OFF WHEN TRRYING TO PROGRAM BECAUSE MINE IS OFF CLEARLY AS I CANT HAVE BOTH WIRES LUGGED IN AS THERE IS NO ROOM SO THIS DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL IF YOU DONT EXPLAIN IF THE UNIT NEEDS TO BE ON OR OFF.
Feniex does not say in the instructions if the unit has to be on or off but it does say that the ignition wire does have to be hooked up in order to controller the attached equipment
Was looking for info on how to program the traffic adviser with this software, all i can seem to find is left and right arrow, no mention of center out and cluster warn features. Also my bar was built with work lights, and i do not see an option to enable that in the software.
It depends on the quad product. Most quad products require the converter to change color on the quad. Unless you have the Feniex One in which case it would all be done through the software
I had the same question. Apparently this data link unit does not offer the negative outputs for the traffic adviser. It will only work with Feniex traffic adviser through a RJ45 cable. The older process units which have a clear cover, has the negative outputs for the traffic adviser built on the side of the process unit. You can see this in older pictures and videos of the 4200 setup. So in short no the data link does not offer negative outputs for off brand traffic advisers.
Hi Tim, The timer function allows any button to continue functioning for a set period of time after it's been disabled. Timer can be set for any duration between 1 second to 1 hour. This applies for all inputs A-H and all buttons. The slide switch cannot be programmed for timer or momentary functions. The momentary function only applies to buttons and allows a button to activate only when the user holds the button down. It will not remain active once pressure is released.
It is on the side of the unit. The USB cable that comes with the 4200 controller has a regular USB port that goes into your computer and on the other side is a specific size port that plugs into the 4200 controller
I wish the fusion interior light bars could be connected through data and have the option to dim
Could you show how to create a button to change the flash patterns of the lights?
I will have that video added to the list!
Can you upload an audio file for the siren?
Sorry you are unable to do that
Is there a way to set the lights on the controller to be only red, not green?
I asked our Feniex Representative and he said that you should send an email to:techsupport@feniex.com and they will be able to assist you
@@UltraBrightLightz apparently they said it's not possible
Can the slide switch be used to turn the head unit on?
Yes, this is possible
My newer model Feniex 4200 traffic advisors lights on the controller is not working how do I get them to work? They were working but now they are not
It sounds like there is an issue with the controller but Feniex Tech Support will be more then happy to assist you.1-800-615-8350
The ignition wire has to be programmed to a button? Or it will turn on automatically with the vehicle?
It will turn on when the vehicle is turned on
@@UltraBrightLightz is it possible to use one of the buttons to turn the unit on? if so how can this be done?

Activating both the left and right arrow will preform center-out. Rear work lights should be activated by flood or one of the modes
So is there anything in there to control quad lights, like a bottom activates red or another will turn them to amber?

How do you program this for non-feniex traffic advisors? Mine is 8 head negative switched. Help would be appreciated

Can you explain the time feature? Is it possible to have it do a traffic arrow for 3 seconds then switch to warning mode for 3 seconds ECT?
