Losing weight is hard, but being in a body you hate is also hard as well. In September 2020 I decided it was time to change my life around, I went from weighing 250 to 196 (currently) and I can't tell you how much a difference I feel. Update: I'm down 14 pounds since making this comment. ❤ Edit 3: I'm down to 178!!
Thanks for the update. Most people don't. It's good to know. Keep it up. Once you are at your ideal weight, Intermittent Fasting is the new diet lifestyle.
"I wasn't hungry but my mind was craving the food." Perfect description of addiction. I did a long fast and felt that lightness and clarity and focus. I like seeing him pursuing his true interests. He's not giving up in himself anymore, which is so beautiful! What an amazing, gutsy journey! I also love how he acquired so much knowledge about the process that he knows what's going on at each stage. He has great friends.
That's starvation. Humans were created to eat food. God made the garden of Eden with all the food humans are supposed to eating. Fasting should never be a way to lose weight. Many places around the world are fasting daily not by choice but through famine. The reason people are over weight is not eating what grows on tree but eating food prepared in a factory and shipped to fast food restaurants. Any food eaten in it's natural form from the tree is healthy. We are supposed to eat natural food. Over consummation of junk food is what cause people to be overweight. The addictions is from the ingredients in junk foods.
@@eileenwatt8283 I’m Catholic and The three most important things to do is pray, penance and fast. I fast Wednesday and Friday because of my religion. Fasting has always been part of many different religions and that’s really good for your body to detox and cleanse once in a while.
This is my 3rd day fasting, which the first ones are suppossed to be the hardest. My own parents have asked me everyday if I want to eat after raising me on addicting, sugary, processed food... I'm 26, 6'0 310 lbs, obese and basically depressed too since I was 8 with high blood pressure and for the last year, crippling asthma and heart pain. And they get offended when I snap back "stop asking me everyday". Thank god I'm informed and I know it's not dangerous at all and it's in fact incredibly healthy. Oh and of course I can't even talk to any doctor about this, as all they know is pulled out of books and 0 is from research such as that from Jason Fung.
Same, my grandmother calls me everyday and asks me if I ate and what did I eat that day💀It makes me so annoyed, it's not like I am going to die if I don't eat for 2 months ar freaking 175 lbs!
Yup, and damn, that cough he had early on in the vid sounded like one of my neighbours (Chain smoker) coughs, which he kind of mentioned later on about it being like he'd smoked for like, what, 50 years even though he's a non-smoker... Oh, and as for Guinness declining his world record cause of fear that others might die trying to break it … um … Have they taken a look at all the other records from their own books … … …
@@deuterium_pottage Thanks man, I've only been managing 5 days at a time. Today out with friends is my last meal then I will use the fasting extra focus to do extra work.
@@deuterium_pottage Yeah I read "The complete guide to fasting" by Fung with Jimmy Moore. I know there's so much struggle because mainstream nutrition is so lacking. Before I read "The Obesity Code" I hadn't realized that every single one of my diets ended in a deep depression. With 5-meals-a-day-CICO my body simply reduced the amount of calories it was using and so weight loss got stagnant as I felt shittier and shittier. Fasting is so so so much better than trying to lose weight like that, but even my fit friend thinks it's less healthy
Brother I feel your pain man. I went from 340 to currently 221. I eat one meal a day, but I started out fasting 7 days straight. I damn near lost my mind after 7 days.....I salute this guy for going longer than that.

My dad is 58 years old, when I was a little girl he showed me his highschool year book . The people were so tall and skinny and I asked him why they were stretched out. He said they aren't they are just skinny. It hit me then how normalized obesity has become.
People were more physically fit back then. Mainly because we played outside all day in the Sun. Also we hardly ever got sick the first time I took any prescribed medicine I was in my twenties
This acceptance comes from all ''body positivity" movements financed by all multinationals that wants us obese and addicted to their products. Being obese shouldn't be normal.
Ridiculous how everyone thinks you need to eat every day! I fast for a couple of weeks 4 times a year. Skin is super young looking and feel amazing at 48!
@@Os_Ecos_da_mente I’m day 10 into my water fast. Before I made the choice to start losing weight I was eating around 2400-3000 calories a day. So I decided to lower my calories to around 1200 a day so I didn’t feel like I was going into a fast cold turkey. My body got acclimated to 1200 Cal a day in about a week and half. I then decided to just start fasting. So I would recommend that if you eat a lot like I did.
My friend did this at 50. She lost 40+ pounds in 27 days. When we saw her we thought she'd had work done on her face (she didn't) because she legit looked late 30s tops after her fast.
@@moondog7694 fasting works to tighten skin as well. It doesn't happen all at once, but it is well reported. My face always looks younger after a fast.
The girl that fasted on juice for 40 days and was so honest about what happened in her past abusive relationships, really touched my heart ❤️ and gave me hope I to stand up for myself in my own life. She’s a brave woman to share her heart like she did. Thank you
For me, her story was more powerful than the fasting documentary. I hope she’s doing well with her art and with her life. God bless you for opening up and sharing your story.
Healed a cyst in my knee with fasting. What's annoying are all the people who shove food in your face when you're purposely not eating. It doesn't bother me, but it's really rotten to do to a person who is struggling. I'm impressed with Kenny's determination. I fast on/off all the time for health reasons and there are a lot of benefits.

@Damon Wadyko No I recommend exercising like Mark Sisson does but unfortunately I do not do that myself (anymore sick/lazy/old). As a friend once said, I should be good at dieting since it involves doing nothing😁 That's the only thing I score highly at.
Very inspiring! I used to weight 264 a couple years ago. Now I’m 205. My goal is 182. There’s no shortcuts. Crazy diets may get you started but won’t keep you there. We must improve our lifestyle, one step at a time. It’s all about constancy.
Yep now this guy is back to how he was in the beginning. I think this man in the video is very sweet and had good intentions but unfortunately doing something drastic like that is not sustainable and ends up back firing
I did a 40 day fast, when I hit the 40th day I felt that I could easily make it to 50. First week is the hardest then your system realizes it’s not getting food and hunger seems to go away. From the 33rd day on I was having the most peaceful sleep and dreams. Highly recommend trying it
Nice one! Did you have poor sleep in the beginning and what day did your sleep start getting better? I remember when I met someone who’d done 7 days and I thought that was extreme. Then I did 7 days - the hardest part was the poor sleep.
Thank you for this, I have been eating once per day for quite a while now, I want to eat once every other day, work my ay up to once every 3 days, do a week and gradually improve. I was taught I NEEDED to eat at LEAST three times daily but I am happy I got out of that mindset before it was too late. I just want to remain healthy.
The longest water fast I’ve completed was 24 days. On January 1 I’m going for 40 days. Currently on green juice, coconut water and water. I lost 40lbs on the 24 day fast, I felt AMAZING! My joint pain went away, my mind was so clear! Yes it’s hard, but it’s all mental. It forces you to deal with your addictions and what’s really going on in your mind! 🙏🏾💜💜💜💜🙂
Libra Lady02 Were you able to do the 40 day? I've started 16:8 three weeks ago and after the first week I wasn't very hungry during the 8 so now I'm at OMAD. I've lost 15lbs so farand most of my inflammation pain is gone. I'm trying to get to 48 hrs... And then beyond. From what I've seen fasts beyond five days helps with weight loss but doesn't appear to do much for athopoghy and lean muscle growth.
@@adaiyah-zerahbahtyahudah7860 Well, because of a medical issue I'm on my 3rd day no food, just water (water with salt or magnesium). I'm going to try to stretch it out to 5 days.
As part of my religious practice I’ve been accustomed to fasting for a month every year since I was young. I fast from sunrise to sunset. Growing up a lot of ppl especially other kids didn’t understand this. They made fun of me and taunted me by eating in my face . Now I’m glad there is more awareness and understanding around how good fasting really is for the body
It doesn't work in my country. Our bazaar Ramadan is chock full of the most unhealthy food ever. About 20% of our population is diabetic. We are doomed.
@@svietka202 you’re right! A lot of us do break our fasts in the most unhealthy ways. They think just because you’re fasting all day you can eat whatever you want and that’s a wrong concept. That’s why so many of us actually gain weight when we should be losing. The point is to detoxify ourselves body mind and spirit. The point I was trying to make was since a young age because of our religious obligations we are accustomed to fasting and going long hours without food AND water.
I'm 32 and have been contemplating the exact thing you're talking about: the fear of not having attained your dreams because my own lack of discipline getting in the way. I appreciate you making this.
No, it's not just discipline. Would you say an alcoholic has no discipline with alcohol? It's *addiction* Like he was saying, sugar, flour, salt and oil is accepted and legal for all ages and can be consumed all day long. Think about it - sugar is 9 times more addictive than Heroin and cocain. Sugar, perfectly legal, in almost all foods. Eat whole food plant based. Don't buy junk food. Peace and love 🥰✌🌱💙🌍🦋
There are medically supervised programs; so many little things to monitor. If you do this please do it with a hospital based program. I know a couple of people who had gall bladder disease and needed surgery. Sometimes people have trouble when they resume eating. Even gastric surgery patients have about 50% maintaining weight loss. If you want to try observing what you eat and how much you move, the app My Plate has a free version you can put on your phone. I have not participated in medically supervised weight loss but I watched a family member go through years of misery then regaining more than ever after an irreversible stomach surgery. All the best to you!

He is a really beautiful person .Inside and out. He's got so much charisma while literally starving himself and here we are bitching about eating a salad.I wish I could have him as a friend.
As someone who has fasted around 10 times in my adult life, my best advice is, don’t fast/cleanse to lose weight. Fast/cleanse to change the way you eat. After time you build up salt and sugar tolerances, fasting knocks your tolerances down to zero and you have a clean slate to start eating and developing a taste for healthy foods. How you end the fast is the most important part of the fast but too many people think phew, its over and go back to eating the way they ate before and building up those tolerances again. Fasting/cleansing changed the way I eat, I now love vegetables, salads etc. I now eat about 80% vegetarian 20% fish. I haven’t had fast food in 15 years. It’s not all rainbows though, I still struggle with my sweet tooth, thus the number of cleanses :) However, without doing proper fasting/cleansing , I would probably be obese based on where I was headed when I did my first one.
Please explain first you say don’t fast cleanse to lose weight. Then you say fasting/cleansing changed the way you ate. Which is best? Then you say you struggle with sweet tooth thus the many cleanses. Goes that mean you do a lot of cleanses? Please help me understand what you’re trying to say.
The best diet is the one you can sustain for the rest of your life. Cleansing did zero for me, but intermittent fasting + keto eliminated my sugar addiction. A lot of people cannot follow this regimen due to current health conditions, or, they just hate it! You have to individually decide which approach doesn't make you feel deprived and hungry (particularly over several months). Those two issues are the reasons most diets fail. Exercise kinesiologist, triathlete, and pro bodybuilder Greg Douchette has a cookbook that focuses on healthy recipes that ALSO taste delicious. For example, he has a healthy version of DQ's blizzard that is fantastic. Most people can lose weight with hard work (even if it is only 10 pounds). The focus needs to shift to keeping it off. That's why finding delicious recipes that assist with weight loss AND maintenance cannot be an afterthought. If you cannot find healthy, delicious foods you can eat for the rest of your life, you're GOING to regain the weight.
This is the second time I have watched this video. My heart goes out to Kenny. I appreciate his honesty and candor. As a fellow Texan I understand the struggles with food. I am an older lady and I’m about 80 lbs overweight. I have fasted before and I do believe in its healing properties and spiritual growth. I’m sad to see that Kenny gained his weight back and still struggles. God bless you Kenny. I know it’s hard.

I'm was a 240 pound roofing contractor I worked hard every day at that weight. My weight was from beer and the fast food I ate while drunk or stoned. I cut the bad habits out and now I've been living off water for 8 days. I already dropped to 217 in that time but I'm sure most of it was water weight from the alcoholic puffer syndrome 🙃. I haven't felt this amazing in years. I plan on going till I hit 170 again like before I brought coors light into my daily routine. I replaced the water tube idea with pickle juice every night. It cleans things within a hour every time. Liquids go right through you when your gut is empty and I feel it took a lot with it. I feel more energetic now without food than I did with the beer and junk. Its absolutely crazy how much sense of self control this experience has given me. It's not wating less. It's not eating junk food. Eat as many apples, bananas, carrots, lettuce, celery, etc. as you want. NEVER eat hamburgers, fast food, french fries, anything that only needs to be taken from the freezer to the heated oven or microwave . . . . . It's not how much one eats. It's what one eats.
Adopting a fasting lifestyle has been the most healing, life changing (higher quality of life) choice I've ever made. Extended fasts can be done safely.
I don't eat breakfast or lunch I just eat on the evening, I think we eat too much processed food, people need to realise it's okay to be hungry at times, people eat when their not really hungry.

The hardest part is starting. Food for me was an addiction. I started 12/10/22 when I was hospitalized with gallbladder issues. My weight was 227 now I’m 210. I stopped eating cheese, fried foods and just cutting back. Today for the first time, every time I’ve been in this shopping ctr, I bought a slice of pizza. Today I didn’t. My mother never picked me and my brother up for school when I was 8, just left. My father was an alcoholic. I never felt worthy, even at 61, I don’t want a birthday party or gifts. But after being in the hospital, scared me. I don’t miss these foods now. I also had a gastric bypass 18 yrs ago. I hope I can continue my journey, I have a 22 and 19 year old daughter. Plus a husband who stayed at 175 for the past 30 years. I was 135 when I met him. I don’t want to be 135, just healthy. Great video, would love an update.

Yes so true, it also allows your body to detoxify from all the exposure to the chemicals, preservatives and toxins in our environment, since the body doesn't have to focus on digesting food it starts to focus on toxin elimination.
I have fasted my entire life I never ate breakfast even as a kid my body couldn’t take I would feel like crap. My parents never pushed food on me and only fed me when I was hungry. We also never had scheduled meals, which seems like it would be wrong, but it was great you learn to listen to your body. Anyways, I am now 30 and don’t look a day over 20, no joke people are always asking what I am doing and I always fasting! I see my friends the same age who have gained weight; their skin look like they are 40 yrs old. I still have the same body I did in high school. I do work out but not regularly maybe 1-2 times a week sometimes 3-4 times I run a mile and do the leg press machine for 15 mins, and that’s it. I eat once sometimes twice a day. On occasion, I will do a 24 - 30 hr fast. Anyway, it’s the best thing you can for yourself; it’s a lifestyle, not a diet or anything like that. I've tried many times over the years to lose weight. At one time I reached my heaviest of 280 pounds. I lost over 60 pounds and was getting close to 200, then I hit a plateau and it caused me to lose all confidence and motivation so I gave up and gained all the weight back and double. So 2 months ago I reached my all time heaviest of 350 pounds! I was fed up and decided to make a change. 2 months later I'm down to 317 pounds. I am learning to change my mindset to not constantly think about food. My next goal is to get to 299 because I haven't been below 300lbs in over 3 years. I will update here when I get there. While I would never be able to fast for 55 days, this really inspired me to keep at this and give it my all and do the very best I can each day to become a better me.
I've been there. Hit a plateau and was frustrated by it. It led to me losing control and gaining it back again. Recently found a couple of fasting channels w. great tips. One is to fast for 1-2 weeks, eat healthy for 2 days, then go back to your fast. It tricks your body into not going into the plateau phase. Check out the channels Finally Fasting and also A Healthy Alternative. God bless you and keep working hard. It gets easier.

Fasting is not as extreme as people think. I know from experience this type of situation where you've taken yourself into a very unnatural state (being obese in this case) needs a slap in the face. You gotta shock yourself a little bit to change your life, but that's not a physical shock, it's a mental one. Your mentality is used to food abundance that isn't natural; stopping the food flow changes your life and your mind. Other than that, fasting isn't a big deal, contrary to what fatlogic teaches us.
Too bad after this fast he is going to put a lot of it back on. His metabolism was probably not existent after this because of how long he was without food
@@elitewolftv2325 usage of "metabolism" is pretty much abused nowadays, but it's true that he will process everything slower. that's why there is a long period of re-reading and adaptation after the fast. Of course goal is not to bwe the same person as before and not get straight back to eating a lot
fasting is stupid. people who fast don't have at least 2 neurons to fire at each other. you lose weight then you put it all back, but meanwhile you destroy your body. how on earth can somebody believe that fasting is easy or healthy?!
This perfectly reminds me not to eat a lot, I used to have only fruits and vegetables and days with smoothies only but I get to the point that I experienced stressful events I became an emotional eater. You're such an inspiration, Kenny. Thanks, keep safe.
Your "friends" are some of the most effed up humans on the planet. Been on an 80 lb. mission myself, fasting a week at a time w/ 3 days of Keto in between and my family has been just as inconsiderate, but that just makes me more determined. Good on ya for making this effort and sharing it all. You're my new hero. :)
I didn't like that they ate so often in front of him either, knowing his struggle with food and weight. That's always a health issue, and not a joke. I think they could have shown a bit of discipline themselves to either just drink juice or water as much as possible while spending time with him. Even they could be helped by changing their habits because some of them were not having the healthiest food. I don't know what it is but people act like they are afraid they will die if they skip a meal, even when they have a cold and don't even have an appetite. There is a big difference between nourishing one's body and overtaxing it with toxin-laden foods. Personally, I think the water only diet is quite severe, but so glad he chose to do it under medical supervision, though. I hear coming off of it is more important than while on the fast. Your diet sounds interesting and more practical for the average person; (for me I'd probably have to flip flop the fasting days vs keto days and do fasting part with fresh juices, though--LOL). May I ask how you are doing on it? All the best to you!!
I’m fasting as I watch and I support this message. Though use electrolytes is a better method than just good water. Fasting heals, do it right to help sustain your energy.

Not just a Water fast, but a Smart Water fast ... What a fantastic idea!! Now, as for the rarely seeing obese people back in the day, well, lets not forget that more people like that hid away from prying eyes and less people talked about/documented what they considered as embarrassments ... People were more ignorant back then, but as time passes/knowledge grows we are getting better where it counts :) May nit seem like it, but, we have media, internet/etc/etc, so even though there are a record number of physically unhealthy people now, keep in mind people that there was much more hidden way back when as well...
The putting on the shoes section really hit home. That was one of the big indicators for me that things were really out of control. I had gotten up to 303 lbs and didn’t know what to do. A year later and I’m 40 lbs lighter with 70 lbs to go. I’ve started a fasting regime that I’m hoping help me reach my goal.
This was an excellent presentation, well edited, with appropriate background music. Kenny sounds like a young man with a great optimistic personality. I think he has all of the necessary tools to succeed in life.
We are bombarded with food commercials and driving restaurants and their smells. My great aunt said she feels sorry for people that don't have enough to eat and see those temptations all the time. When I fasted I had to do a mind switch and saw junk food as disgusting.
My doctor just spoke to me about intermediate fasting and told me I could go 21 days just on water. I was considering starting slowly only eating at assigned times. What you did was beyond belief. Thanks for the inspiration!
When I started intermittent fasting, just doing a 20 hour fast with a four hour eating window, I realized how much my friends and family really focused on food. I had to make a conscious decision to start relationships with other people because I couldn't be around people who continue to eat like crap. It was too much of a battle for me. I didn't want to be judgemental but I couldn't be a part of it. It reminded me how hard it would be for an alcoholic to continually party with their drinking buddies. You can do hang put sporadically, but all of the time is just too much of a struggle.
I completely understand. I've been on and off the keto diet for three years. The main times I've gotten off was when I was around my husband's family who are all morbidly obese, have type II diabetes, always want to go to restaurants and still continue eating like pigs.
@@MAHONEYDRO I hope you have success in resolving your struggle.... Try to think of it like this...You can do Anything for One Day! cuz contrary to popular belief - one day, this day is all we have...tomorrow is Not promised! So remember = you don't have to give up drinking "for the rest of your life" just for today.
I love this Documentary! So proud of Kenny & Sonia for completing their goals & utilizing their willpower to help with claiming their lives back, so beautiful & inspirational to see!! Thank you so much for sharing!
I did a three-day fast this week and told a co-worker. She bought me something from the vending machine and kept watching me like I would die at any second. She was mad I threw the corn chips she gave me in the trash.
Some people are worried about eating disorders. Fasting with a healthy mind is great, fasting with an ED can cause all kinds of issues. Your coworker was probably genuinely worried about you for the wrong reasons! She may have known people who restricted food in the past in unhealthy ways. Still not a respectful or aware thing for her to do tho.
Fist rule of fasting: We don’t speak to others about fasting! I did it once and made a huuuuuge mistake, now I just say I’ve just ate before meeting with my friends, or I’ll eat when I reach home cause I’ve cooked or I have upset stomach and can’t eat etc. The most I would say is I’m on detox and have to watch what I eat. But I never say I’m actually water fasting, juicing or doing OMAD!
For me it was very healthy thing to do. Many years ago I fasted for 40 days on water only even while cooking meals for my family. The first 3 to 4 days are very tough but by the fourth of fifth day things get easier and by 6 or 7 it becomes very easy. The mental benefits are also amazing. I did not have any medical conditions while doing the fast. If someone has medical conditions they should be under a doctors care if they do a long fast. The toughest part for anyone will be pressure from friends and family to stop fasting. As you continue into the fast your determination becomes stronger and stronger because you begin to feel the benefits of the fast. But beware, your family and friends will fight you. I've actually been thinking of doing another one which is why I found this video.
@@moosehead1183 ABSOLUTELY!! I learned this as well to not tell people when you're fasting. I did find a lot of support from others online who fasted before.

If your friends can invite you to tempt you around food when you’re trying to accomplish a goal to fast, there is no need for enemies.

Thanks for this. I want to try it but man that sugar craving is the hardest part for me
Please explain first you say don’t fast cleanse to lose weight. Then you say fasting/cleansing changed the way you ate. Which is best? Then you say you struggle with sweet tooth thus the many cleanses. Goes that mean you do a lot of cleanses? Please help me understand what you’re trying to say.

Eat as many apples, bananas, carrots, lettuce, celery, etc. as you want. NEVER eat hamburgers, fast food, french fries, anything that only needs to be taken from the freezer to the heated oven or microwave . . . . .
It's not how much one eats. It's what one eats.
Not really, you need to have all that extra fuel on you to burn it as fuel. That's all it is, fuel in storage.
So you're fasting already then, you don't "break-fast". This is called Intermittent Fasting.

It is impossible to watch this and not have a great admiration for Kenny and his accomplishment.
When my dog was sick she stopped eating. Fasting doesn't just shed weight, it repairs damaged cells and kills diseased cells.
Yes so true, it also allows your body to detoxify from all the exposure to the chemicals, preservatives and toxins in our environment, since the body doesn't have to focus on digesting food it starts to focus on toxin elimination.
Kenny, you are so brave for documenting this.
Remember, if you lived in the wild, you would not be eating every day your body is made to endure stress. I hope this helps.
Love it ❤💛👯

Hope you're doing well! Making a mistake on your diet shouldn't end it. I hope you find the motivation and mindset to continue.

Thank you!
@Elly69 what’s even the point inviting a fasting person to a barbecue?

People were more ignorant back then, but as time passes/knowledge grows we are getting better where it counts :) May nit seem like it, but, we have media, internet/etc/etc, so even though there are a record number of physically unhealthy people now, keep in mind people that there was much more hidden way back when as well...

After being sober for a year, it was harder for my old drinking buddies to hang out with me. Sad , but drunks are not comfortable around sober people.
I completely understand. I've been on and off the keto diet for three years. The main times I've gotten off was when I was around my husband's family who are all morbidly obese, have type II diabetes, always want to go to restaurants and still continue eating like pigs.

Don’t tell people that you are fasting, they will only become obstacles
Thank you for filming this progress to your new life. You have encouraged thousands of others to get back our lives.
But beware, your family and friends will fight you. it takes about 3-4 days for ketosis to even start kicking in. When i fast i dont even consider it actually starting until about 3 or 4 days in.
Pizza I just fking ordered is king
Hello Kenny! I did the same in my late twenties. It was life changing. I heard all the negatives, all the ridiculous "common" knowledge from everyone who never went a day without food.
Congratulations!!! %), Wlecome to the few!! I went from 250lb to 180lb. It lasted for over 30 years.
The subject of this doco is a really personable guy, genuinely well-meaning and thoughtful.
I appreciate his sense of general sensitivity and genuine nature.
Thank you Kenny and Sonia for sharing your stories. So inspirational. I lost nearly 60lbs since last January through intermittent fasting. Fasting has been so beneficial for me in so many ways. Keep up the excellent work you guys 👍👍👏👏
@Sunil same ! Started with IF and now love doing longer fasts 48-72 hr fasts . It really does heal the body. Gives the liver & pancreas a break from constantly processing food
What a nice guy with such a sweet personality...wish him all the best whatever size he is today.
I love his positive energy I’m currently in a 30 fast I’m on day 9 it’s easy at this point
how much weight did you lose till now?
lord offools 18 pounds
When one does such a long fast, it would be impossible to lift weights, I guess?
@@yiyang5693 it depends. I fast a lot and sometimes can do light strength training. I just take fasting friendly electrolytes. I like Dr. Berg's electrolytes personally but just make sure it doesn't have sugar in it
were you adding salt to your water? and did you drink juices or not? i hope you answer me
Such a sweet guy, I hope you are still kicking all your health goals. I'm on day 5 of a water fast today. Thank you for the inspiration!!
I love his personality. Such a sweet soul, I hope all is well with him
Only just came across this in 2021. I’m simply doing one meal a day - sitting here watching the BBQ scene and getting hungry ! Kenny is a hero - cooking these and being on a fast.
I’d love to meet someone like him. He seems genuinely sincere, easygoing and kind. Well done man 👏🏾👏🏾
Amazing! I have never even heard of anyone fasting beyond 30 days. Your mental strength is truly amazing! Congratulations, Kenny.
What a lovely man you are, Kenny, to share this experience with so many.
I know this will help many people throughout the world. What a gift you are to so many of us!! May God continue to Bless You, and May ALL your dreams come true!
WHY would you invite someone you care about to a BBQ when they're fasting?!?
I would assume because life goes on for everybody around him and they did not want to leave him out
because it made for such a dramatic scene...ahahha
I also didn't like tht
CarpeDiem13x I got a good chuckle from that 🤣
Will power. Maybe you should get some
What an extremely lovable guy, right from the start i just loved him and his determination and hard work makes him even more lovable. super documentary. Well done kenny.. wishing you the best.
I’m about to order pizza
Agreed. Really nice dude.
Thats crazy, I didnt like him from the first sentence. Hes doing this for the attention. This isnt how you lose weight. So its def not about losing weight. I dont believe for a second he actually did this.
Yes he was so positive about it! I can tell he’s just a good guy with a good heart! ❤
@@truly3743 The whole thing is fake, he for sure didnt fast for 50 days.
You really got my respect and admiration!!! I am going into my 7 days fasting experience starting today!! Thanks for sharing such an inspirational story. Cheers
how was it ?
