A gear reduction box can be used because they come in a configuration that takes vertical and comes out horizontal! I swap directions when I mount(engine connected to the slow side of gear box means speed to the rear end
not necisarilly needed but it gives your go cart a transmission essentially so you have multiple gear ratios so you can get more tourq on hills and still have a higher top speed

why do you need a torque converter and a jack shaft all other videos i have watched on this engine have only used a clutch and a chain?

at this point im gonna just take some hight off a shoping cart and use zip ties to put it back together and then attach a drill to the rear tires XD

@legitposting learn how it's not that hard, and relatively cheap u can pick up a welder that can weld 1/8 inch stainless steel for 150
