Great photography. You guys present your journey's really well. Good laid back music choices, adventurous on your own with a few local tours thrown in. Another lovely movie... I couldn't help but get a chuckle out of the contrast between Lloyd's experience getting to the dunes and senior travel (I'm 70).
Someone my age would probably totally avoid street food in a tropical country or at least be very careful with it. However, if it did get to us, we would certainly hole up for a day or two rather than hitting the streets while still not feeling well. But if we ever did find ourselves with a queasy stomach and facing five hours on a bus, we would undoubtedly find out if there was a bathroom on the bus BEFORE committing to the journey.
Of course all this self-protection, greatly limits the scope of what adventures are possible. That just comes with the territory when you are on the other side of your Biblical "three score and ten". The moral of the story is don't wait. Make it happen while your bodies can still take a few risks. But don't fear the future decades. Even when journeys out become problematic, the journey in can still be endlessly fascinating.

How the hell they can profit if the ride is $8USD while the gasoline is almost $7 USD per gallon, guys? Think about it. No wonder everyone wants to come to beautiful Vietnam.

Called sand dunes, Thailand has the same, but the area is not as large as Vietnam.

Vietnam has many big sand dunes like this video and even more bigger but They aren’t popular like Mui Ne

Thailand doesn't have desert, while Vietnam has. Sand dunes are everywhere in countries having coastline. Vietnam has real desert, other SEA countries don't.

Vietnam could be better if the people stopped littering indiscriminately. Garbage everywhere makes it look like a giant dumpster. Sad.

      @@thaiau8601 sorry brother.
VN has a very bad litter problem. The US has mostly conquered theirs.
Yes little brother, I am here now. Beautiful beautiful beaches covered in trash.
I really hope something can be done about it in my lifetime.
