    Hello, you are one of the rare youtubers that hiked to the end of the stream. I was wondering what it looks like. Thank you 😆.

      I did see one video where they did it but it was in dry season so it was a drizzle, but I figured since it was rainy season we'd get a good one and it was worth it!

    Ham Tien, where you are, is the hub of resorts and where most tourists stay. I went to Mui Ne which is actually about 12km further North, is less busy and not as convenient as Ham Tien. I am not impressed with foods in "Mui Ne" either. Hope someone not pocket the entrance fee at the Fairy Stream and put it for good use. Wow. The homestay price is so good. The 1.5 star place I stayed in Mui Ne went from 15 USD a night to 45 recently. Else, I would come back again for 1 week or more. Thanks for the video.

      I don’t know if I would go back to Mui Ne but I’d try the other beaches closer to Saigon, have you been?

    Really enjoy your video. The price and the service is absolutely not worth it. Hopefully the scenery make up for that . Cheer ❤

      Thanks so much. Mui Ne is great for a day, 2 tops. I just stayed too long.

    In Vietnam, people take a nap from noon to 3 even at the workplace or kids' kindergarden because the sun is brutally hot from high UV radiation. Get the shade and avoid doing anything outside during these 3 hours.

    I'm curious--did you have to book your accommodations (the homestay and the other place in Ham Tien) in Mui Ne in advance, or you just show up and ask for a room? Thanks.

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We just walked up and asked for a room. That said, what is strange in Vietnam, and actually some other countries in SEA too is that I would see a place on Booking or Agoda and just go there to see if I could pay them cash directly to get a discount.
      A lot of times the walk in price was higher or the person on staff preferred me to book online.
      This is so confusing because in Latin America you can always get a deal paying cash, especially if you don't need a receipt.

      @@ayngelina Cool. I'm planning a trip to Vietnam soon. My schedule will be fluid. I will try to book in a day in advance but if I can't, it's good to know I might have that option to just walk up. Availability depends on season of course. :-) Good to know about Latin America too--I've always booked in advance or paid by credit card. Thanks!

      You will love it. I wanted to go back this fall but it’s peak rainy season in the central area so I think we may wait.

    That server doesn’t sound very nice. Why didn’t you go somewhere else?

    • @ayngelina

      That’s a good question. It was after 2pm and so a lot of places weren’t offering lunch and we were hungry. We had planned to order more but I decided on just the two dishes and to order more if it was good. What I didn’t catch on camera was that she also scammed us on the squid by the pound because she told me one price, which I usually write down to confirm in s restaurant but this time I didn’t so when we paid the bill she claimed it was higher than she quoted me. A lesson that I need to be more diligent but I’m happy to say this was our only negative experience at a restaurant in Vietnam although I do have hilarious memories coming up in Hanoi where I learned that they suck air through their teeth in disapproval. But that I didn’t mind and found it humorous.
