Air mobility is a very interesting sphere, and Bellwether company is one of its pioneers. Yes, it’s not the first eVTOL we can think of in the world, but it’s certainly one of the most beautiful ones.
If you love the idea of flying cars and are waiting passionately when they arrive on the market, you will be interested in this air mobility technology. By the way, the company is going to produce their first commercial eVTOL machine just in 2 or 3 years.

Coolest design I've seen. Love the hidden propellers. Futuristic looking.
It really is the best looking one.
Everyone should follow a simular design. The hidden props have a massive advantage over these over sized drones we've seen prior.

But aren't the test flights only of a scale model?? It's not full size.
It is going to fail.
It can fly, run, swim and dive into the ocean, that is the future technolgy of car industry

There will never be commercially available flying cars without a government mandate of a universal built-in system for the distance of other vehicles maintained and without a system to prevent falling from the sky due to failure. One falling car on a grade school, killing all the kids, would end flying cars forever. Just think about how many million-dollar Ferraris and Lamborghinis have been in horrible accidents by people wanting to go fast and think about those same type of people flying over your head.
Parachutes deploy with VTOL of all sorts and there is a standard in advanced nations like China
If we make them autonomous, that could prevent people from misusing them. We could also use built in sensors to avoid flying too close to buildings.
Parachutes work great if you are the only one in the sky and still if nothing such as people, owned property, geographic obstacles, or even trees are below.
“Fully Autonomous” is not gonna work either. They will be easily hacked or jammed by someone with nefarious intentions; this will always be an issue even in a quantum computing future.
We cannot even be trusted to safely operate vehicles on land much less everyday travel in the sky. Plus, land travel is not broken so don’t fix it will be legislative thought process. These carry no weight, so impractical when you weigh the down sides. “Well what if only a few people use them? Important people, people with lots of money, people that need to be somewhere else quickly because they are doing world-changing stuff”….. “they have solved that. It’s called helicopters and planes. And they can carry more weight. Safely. And infrastructure is already in place for them “
eVTOLS are just a concept; they will NEVER be practical or available for the layman. We have gone as far as we can with energy storage and output. Burning hydrocarbons to convert into work is the end as far as safety goes. Bulky and dangerous nuclear power is the only other avenue available; which CANNOT and WILL NOT ever be an option. So efficiency is stuck with the next best nature and our physical universe can provide. When it is used up, it’s back to horses, people will be much less in quantities by then anyhow.
We cannot even make electric cars practical and widespread. These are even more dumb

For me, this is more online to what a flying car should look like. Sadly, I'll never own and fly one but at least I may live long enough to see one fly by and park nearby.
Would love to see how even this scale model fly's on a windy day. I have flown enough drones to know that there a limits even with aerodynamics and stability controls. But hey if I can call off work because it's too windy to drive to work...then this would be a great.
I doubt there was even a payload in that model. For the scale it should be carrying at least 100kg if the full scale vehicle is supposed to be able to carry 5 people.
Sounds a lot like a scam to get unsuspecting investors and then disapear with their money.
Show us footage of the real test with a 1:1 prototype and then we talk.

Needs a gyroscopic stabilizer mounted to frame between tailfins for stability, and onboard air compressor fed to side mounted jets for fine attitude control and "skid-stopping". Gorgeous body design!

Impressive and safest design in my opinion.. not VTOL, but it’s a proven design that would work if an engine completely failed… VTOL? Not so much.. you’re dead if a motor fails without redundancies in place.

Small rotors, obstructed airflow, no wing lift during cruise = awful efficiency = awfully short range.
This is a toy for rich sheikh sons, far away from efficient traveling.

Forget the battery. Built a lawnmower size hydrogen engine and placed one in front and one in the back which will help spin 4 turbine wind blade.
I'll pass. In none of the REAL video footage is the craft under complete control of its attitude. It would be a nightmare to keep it going in a straight line.

Yes, people it is an RC version but you have to remember concepts have got to start somewhere . But I do admit the title is very misleading because they make you believe they’ve actually test flown a real life-size flying car.

I like the flying vehicle but why not put electric jet engine and each one with censors so it will keep the vehicle stable and for longer distance it should be a hybrid electric and hydrogen powered.
I prefer vehicles that fly low to the ground so that if they ever malfunction and crash, the impact is much less. So another words, the cars like the hover pods in the movie Star Wars. If it. MUST go over a object it can but it should be avoided.

3000 ft is a mistaken. They shouldn't allow to fly 500AGL. 3000ft would get it to the private pilot flight space. This would be very dangerous.
I predict there will never be flying cars, not unless antigravity is discovered.

I might be the only one who sees flying cars as a bad thing. Everyone is so self interested, that they haven't even stopped to think what it would be like to live in a world with flying cars. Even if they were quiet, not very common, accessible to everyone, etc, I still don't think I would want one. It's just too detached from reality. I kind of have a bad feeling about this one... it's like, everyone is in a hurry to be the first one to make the flying car, while half the world still lives in poverty. I'm not inspired. Ironically, these guys are so "innovative" that they can't even get past the need for huge batteries. They're basically just making fancy looking drones.
It's a glorified drone so nothing magic here. You will never have many in the air at one time since accidents will kill you. Covering up the propellers was big time smart. You will need collision avoidance. I see using them for racing. Beautiful car though! I would love to drive one

Flying cars are horrendous ideas.
Imagine some sexy woman ask you at a bar, what kind of car you drive. Where you politely answer "Drive? I fly a car!" How cool is that one! Neat design for a conventional EV as well.
