This video needs a little explaining. First, credit where credit is due: Hong shared a video of someone on the Taiwanese server 3-turning the final CQ of this Nerofest; in light of JP's Gilfest more or less replacing the traditional Nerofest this year, I decided to try to replicate it because memes lol. This is the video: th-cam.com/video/oxO0a34LtzM/w-d-xo.html Also, while I'm talking about him, check out Hong's channel: th-cam.com/channels/_UYZ-PKT5hVylyeTP5v3aA.html Now onto the good stuff. This team/strat is heavily RNG dependent, and everything done here is done in a very specific order/manner. Because it's a three-turn, we can break it down into three parts, since the first two waves have a ton going on. Wave 1: Before you do anything, as soon as you can act, check your starting deck - you need at least two of Gil's cards, and one of them NEEDS to be an Arts card. If you don't have that, the run is over, and you'll have to restart the fight. In this run, I lucked out and got both of Gil's Arts cards, but even then that's not a guarantee, as I'll explain shortly. Before you can act, Jack casts 3x Buff Denial on your frontline that I don't think can be resisted, at least it landed every time I attempted this strat, so Gil's Magic Resist is more or less useless here. That means you need to deal with it somehow, and since this team requires Plugsuit, you can't bring Atlas to provide debuff clear. To get rid of it, then, you need to use Gil's Collector skill and one of the Waver's Defense and Crit buffs so that Gil can receive the most important buffs, the ones that buff his damage and his own Golden Rule. By this point you should be able to tell that buffing the everliving shit out of Gil is our highest priority because he needs to be able to one-shot everyone (almost). This is the reason why one of your Wavers needs to have LB Demon Ox King, one of the farmable event CE's from Go West, which immediately casts a 3-turn 15% Buster buff on the frontline if the holder enters it, which is critical for Gil, and it's probably the only CE of its kind with this specific effect. Conveniently, this CE activates first, BEFORE Jack can cast her own Buff Denial debuff, so there's no way for her to deny the Buster buff on DOK. It's crucial that you use buffs from only one of your Wavers first; this is important because you need to save the skills on your second Waver for the next turn, as you'll see when we get to explaining the next two waves. If you've used the correct buffs in the proper order, Gil should be at 70% (20% from LB WR + Waver's 50%), since Jack's Buff denial doesn't deny any NP charge you get from skills (because it's technically not a buff). Once you've used all three skills on one Waver, plug him out for Shakespeare, who needs to have the Golden Catches a Carp CE, the farmable CE from Rashomon which, when LB, instantly gives you 20 crit stars when the holder enters the frontline. You then use Shakespeare's third skill to give Gil another 20%, and then your other Waver's attack buff to finally get Gil to 100% NP. Remember how I said in the beginning that you NEEDED at least two of Gil's cards right off the rip? That's because you need to set up Gil to get at least 60% back after using his NP, and you can only do this with a Gil brave chain, his Golden Rule skill active, AND a crit on his Arts card placed last on his chain for max NP gain. This is why you need to use his Collector star weight buff first to help get rid of Jack's buff denial debuff; if you use Golden Rule instead, that means it's nigh impossible for Gil to get the NP charge he needs for the 3-turn. Losing out on his Collector buff does sting a lot, though, because even with Casters, Gil will inevitably still lose stars to Shakespeare and Waver because the 20 that Shakespeare generates with his Carp CE are the only ones you're gonna get on this turn, but in the context of this 3-turn, Golden Rule is a much more impactful buff. It's better having a chance than having basically no chance at all. With all buffs now placed, you then do Gil's brave chain - NPAA in this case. With a high-level Golden Rule skill, all you're looking for is that crit to land on his third Arts card, and getting both cards is even better, but at least it's gotta be a third Arts crit; if you only get a crit on Gil's second card but not on the third, you're fucked because it still wouldn't charge enough NP. Gil will one-shot both Jack and Medea, but because Lalter is a Lancer, she'll survive but very weak so that Gil can easily finish her off with the rest of his chain. This is why you don't use Shakespeare's Buster buff the first turn, because if you do, you not only miss out on being able to use it the next turn, but you'll also risk Gil one-shotting Lalter too and thus gaining no NP charge for the next turn. Wave 2: With the first wave of enemies dead, Nero, Ozy, and Amakusa enter. Amakusa's gimmick debuff doesn't mean shit, but Ozy's gimmick does. Remember that the enemies here cast various buffs for the rest of the team when they're defeated, but most of them are irrelevant - except for Medea's defense buff. Because when Ozy hits the field, he immediately casts Imperial Privilege, which stacks with Medea's 50% defense buff and makes him tanky to the point where he takes next to no damage if you don't debuff him or buff yourself like a freak, and this is why you need to save Shakespeare's Buster buff for this turn (and your Plugsuit buff, too). Ozy is the main threat of this second wave, because if your Gil can't one-shot Ozy, your three-turn is done. Here, card RNG strikes again: you need exactly 1 of Gil's cards. At least at this point, it shouldn't matter which one it is, but the important part is that you need to get just one - again, this will be explained later when appropriate. Use your second Waver's buffs to get Gil back to 100% NP; since he should have at least 60%, Waver's remaining Defense and Crit buffs will top him off for a second NP. Pop Shakespeare's Buster buff and Plugsuit attack buff, use Plugsuit Stun on Nero because she has 3x Guts active and will act when it's her turn after Gil kills her once, and you're good to go. In regards to the order of your Waver's buffs, I've failed runs before because I mistakenly used the defense buffs of both Wavers on W1 to try to get rid of Jack's buff denial so that I could use Gil's Golden Rule AND Collector at the same time. The problem with this is that unless you get both of Gil's Arts cards on W1, which is what happened here, you'll be left with 10% or less short of his NP on W2 after all buffs are applied. Shakespeare's third skill that you used on the previous turn is doubly important in this strat because not only does it give Gil 20% charge on W1, but it also gives a 3-turn star gen buff. Gil is a very decent star gen if you get his brave chains, so a star gen buff helps him generate a noticeably larger number of stars, and since you're looking to get just 1 of Gil's cards on W2, that single Gil card will naturally collect a lot of stars thanks to Gil's class star weight, even without his Collector buff. Your second Waver also needs to have a Kaleidoscope on him; it doesn't need to be limit-broken like the one in the video, or hell, it doesn't even need to be a Scope at all, just something that starts him off at 60% NP so that the two Waver defense buffs and two attack buffs (40%) can get him to 100% by the time all skills are used on W2. The strength of this Waver, however, is also crucial to how much damage Gil will do, because Waver's NP's Defense debuff scales from 10 - 30% depending on NP level and 30 - 50% post-interlude, so your ideal Waver in this situation is an NP5, post-lewd Waver, who'll drop a 50% defense debuff on everyone first before Gil smacks Ea onto them. That 50% is what counteracts Medea's permanent defense buff that she casts on death, and it helps Gil cut through Ozy's defense stacks and one-shot him, and you set Waver's NP first, then Gil's NP, and then Gil's facecard. Because Nero has Thrice Setting Sun active as soon as she enters the field, Gil's NP one-shots her and takes one of her Guts. Gil's facecard, which should be more or less a guaranteed crit, will take Nero's second Guts. And since you stunned her before pulling up your cards, Nero can't act, giving you a free turn to finish her off on W3. Wave 3: The final card RNG: look for one of Gil's Busters on W3, and you only really need one (or if you're confident in your Gil's attack, none at all). At this point, it's just a matter of killing Nero two more times to put her in the dirt for good, but you do need at least two of Gil's cards to do this, led off by a Gil Buster. Remember that in FGO, if you attack twice in a row with the same Servant to kill an enemy with Guts, that enemy doesn't die twice, it only gets killed once. So to kill Nero twice here, you need to set Gil's Buster first, alternate with someone else's card (doesn't matter what since Gil's main DPS here), and then bully Nero one final time to beat the CQ. Some final thoughts: I honestly think that an NP2 Gil can replicate this with no problems, given high skill levels and interludes done for both Gil and Waver, so in the case that you have your own Gil NP2 with good skill levels and have everything in the video, try it out and see if your Gil can make it work. This strat is both incredibly RNG-dependent and super whale - not only do you need pretty much the PERFECT rng, but you NEED to have your own NP2+ Gil, double Waver, Shakespeare with decent skill levels, and LB Demon Ox King, Carp, and something that gives one Waver 60% starting NP charge. But if in the case that you ABSOLUTELY NEED to three-turn this CQ, accept no substitutes. Hope you all had an incredible Nerofest 2018. Now time to roll some boxes. :nerobongo:
By the way, Jack's buff-denial debuff can be resisted. That said, I've only had it happen with high Magic Resistance characters like George and Martha, and Gil's Magic Resistance is only rank E, so the odds of him resisting are pretty slim

The thumbnail is the best thing I’ve ever seen
gilgamesh:oi mongrel you know who that archer is?
shirou:who is he?
gilgamesh:zasshu
shirou:😑
gilgamesh:(laughs in gilgamesh)
it was too brutal to be called a battle. it was more like an execution.
Obligatory "Can this be done with NP1 Gil?" coz everyone and their freaking mothers in my support list are screwing around with the MLB dmg CE by giving it to their ungrailed servants idk why.
xD
And on my friend list everyone give the MLB damage CE to a grailed servant...... Freaking Grailed WAVER
It might be hard to take out Lancer Alter in one turn with NP1.
Theres always someone in your support list that didn't raise their servant skills. I mean what's the freaking point...? His support is like almost all 5 star but with lv 1 or 3 skills.
Shade Cross Mats aren't easy to come by friend, they take time and money to get super fast, and not every whale has enough of both of those things.
Yorokobe, you have been declared the finest zasshu.

Damn, a no damage run on this CQ? granted its the nerfed one, but damn, wow..
I'm strong for a f2p but it's still amazing to watch whales
* cries in Medea np spam *
I am also F2P I have 10 ssrs and 13 srs
I have 5 four star units. They are all fkin assassins.
f2p in jp i only got muramasa, waver and jeanne saving my ass to reach solomon.
Hail to the king baby

This video works as catalyst for me to summon him tonight. Thank you very much.
This only makes me want gil more but great fight anyway
And *that's* how NeroFest became GilFest!
Not even play fgo but the thumbnail is too funny 😂. Gate of Enkidu is real 👌
海外版もcv日本人なんだなー。初めて知ったわ😳
even in another universe Touya cannot help but bully his little kaiju sister
N's Creations and Gunpla Review i get this reference
Janelle Lecho I don’t
gilgamesh and nero also voiced touya and sakura kinomoto, respectively
Christian Marcotte basically nero and gilgamesh share the same voice actors with touya and sakura
Total: 1,116,567 dmg.
Get that wet noodle to slapping!
Gils normal NP attack = wet noodle
Gils SUPER BUFF NP ATTACK = WET NOODLE IF THE NOODLE WAS THE SIZE OF A GALAXY TRAVELING AT LIGHT SPEED WITH SPINNING DRILLS ON IT MEANT TO GRIND ANYTHING IT COMES INTO CONTACT WITH FOR THAT SPLIT SECOND INTO PASTE. . . With a hailstorm of weapons following it in case something some how lives though the encounter.
Did anyone else notice that in the thumbnail that Kingu is coming out of Gate of Babylon and staring daggers at an Enkidu.
And this was even before Merlin
Meanwhile on Jp: Critical!Critical! Critical! OVERKILL
NP? What NP?
Gil: I am the rules
This was the first video I've ever seen about fgo.i was confused as fuck
Gilgamesh Burakku.
(Goku Black's theme is quite fitting)
As a new player this makes me moist.
"What is a king without his ego?!"
"NANI!?"
That meme never gets old...
*The thumbnail is a thing of beauty.* 👌
I only clicked for the thumbnail
サムネに釣られたぜ、、、(エルキドゥが可愛い)
3:28 okay allies we got gut
That thumbnail is all I needed
Talk about overkill dammit Gilgamesh fuhahaha! Also that thumbnail is cursed.
Makes me wish I had money too.
I had no idea they talked in the game. Cool 👌
dang it Touhou you are making me miss my whale acct with Gil and waver now...Well done man sick showing
Edit: Meanwhile in f2p land I saw the Fuyuki banner, just wanted a Burger queen, rolled 5 summon tics and 8 single rolls and got Kotomine's abs.... hmmmmmmm
Gil BECAME the stats, and the stats became Gil.
I feel like I just watched Nameless deploying UBW and spamming Caladbolg II to kill Ryougi but it was just Gilgamesh spamming Enuma Elish to absolutely wreck some mongrels.
Jack The Ripper and Madea: "Dies"
Gilgamesh: *"Laughs in sumerian"*
{ And then Kill Alter Lancer Artoria }
Everybody Gangsta until Gilgamesh releases his NP
Using the Goku Black theme from FighterZ for someone like Gilgamesh is unironically perfect and fits too damn well.
*Damn, it feels good to be a Zasshu.*

Wtf is DIO doing in here?
Second wave, middle servant
Why not tho?
To quote Ozy "Bakana!"
I came here for the thumbnail
*LAUGHTER INTENSIFIES!*
Goku Black theme from DBFZ is somehow fitting with Gilgamesh. Well both of them have special nickname for people who they think worthless.
Gilgamesh: ZASSHU!
Goku Black: NINGEN!
Gilgamesh: "You have a type advantage!? WHO DECIDED THAT MONGREL!?"
And why Im crying for missing Waver rate up
If only I had np3 to replicate this
I see Title I see buff The I heard a voice ENUMA ELİSH
Well played sir. Well played.
ladies and gentlemen, I present to you why double waver is the best comp ever
now let his kid version do it ahahah
WTF 2 bond 10 servants? I can barely get my Herc to bond 9
“How to bully people in 15 simple steps”
Wow this video made Ozy step off of my king throne. I only know king Gilgamesh now bless
I really wanna see Gil and Ozy both solo a challenge quest
Greedy Gameshark.

Danbooru is down for maintenance, FeelsBadMan.
Anyways, I am a gilfucker and lowly mongrel and I approve this message.
This is all good even tho the setup is fancy, at least untill i realise thaat the Gil is actually Np3 😂
Holy shit I'm not used to actual HQ FGO footage this is hurting my eyes
Search up FGO 60FPS.
🌟Golden power intensifies 🌟 and sniper stop bullying Umu 😑😑
