It’s crazy how this game uses elements from Shadow the Hedgehog, but doesn’t have a Shadow the Hedgehog level. Like, why and how did they let that happen?
I have a theory that in the conceptual phase, Radical Highway was supposed to be Westopolis. Because of the number of times you return back to Westopolis in Shadow the Hedgehog, it works thematically and is honestly a really cool concept. However, as content was getting edited and cut, the concept of Westopolis was changed to Radical Highway for a myriad of reasons, but the concept of "returning" to that level was kept. Since Shadow *began* on The Space Colony Ark, an SA2 inspired level, the level that was removed was the level involving Shadow the Hedgehog, which was Westopolis. Because both are City-themed level, it wouldn't take too much effort to change the textures on the level. Of course, I have no idea if this is actually true, but I'd like to think it is.
@@Narikku idk, Westopolis has more street elements like roads, rooftops, traffic lights, etc., while Radical Highway is 95% a red bridge. So, if they make a Westopolis stage, it would be more like Crisis City without everything being on fire.
Shadow: You ruined it with all these curving floating buildings and spiral tunnels. Black Doom: You did not care for my Radical Highway fanfiction? Shadow: Didn’t even include that NiGHTS reference.
As much as I agree that there are many missed opportunities: - Infinite Boss Fight - Westopolis instead of Radical Highway 24/7 - A Sonic Boss Fight - Anything related to the future stages in general. - Emerl return I think it's fair for Shadow to have his first SA2 stage be the "Main stage" of the game.
I love the game but the lack of any Shadow 05 stages bums me out and there was so many picks to choose from even tho I love Westopolis they could've done Sky Troops, Digital Circuit/Mad Matrix Cosmic Fall, etc.
A lot of people say that in the lore Radical Highway is actually in Westopolis. Making it a 2 for 1 stage that covers two important stages. Also the Ark level is a mash-up of all Ark levels in the franchise, including the Shadow the Hedgehog one.

I love your new video, its so fire. so sad that youtube seems to think its ''for kids''
I will say my only complaint about Shadow generations is that there isn’t any shadow the hedgehog levels. That’s my ONLY complaint.
The way Shadow says "you're not my dad" like he's an angsty teenager has me on the floor 😂
I forgot Black Doom does NOT sound like in snapcube's dub.
heeeeeey
Blackest Doomer just gets so radical at the highways
Are you Radical Highway, son?
Yes, now we are a family again!
Space colony ark is the shadow level. Radical highway is the adventure 2 level
Space Colony Ark is actually based on the Space Gadget from Shadow The Hedgehog though….
@@장준현-i9p Really? Had a lot of Final Chase vibes to me...
That “fuck you, Dad” was personal😂😂😂
I still can't believe there isn't a single Shad'05 stage on Shadow Gens
we found black doom’s hyper fixation
it was already in Gens 3DS, but it kinda makes sense as a final level now
I think this got somewhat referenced in the new Twitter takeover
Shadow: You ruined it with all these curving floating buildings and spiral tunnels.
Black Doom: You did not care for my Radical Highway fanfiction?
Shadow: Didn’t even include that NiGHTS reference.
Shadow: Where the hell is 'got ring'? All the blimps say is 'Speed'! It's not the same!
“My dad’s name is Gerald!”
-Shadow, probably
As much as I agree that there are many missed opportunities:
- Infinite Boss Fight
- Westopolis instead of Radical Highway 24/7
- A Sonic Boss Fight
- Anything related to the future stages in general.
- Emerl return
I think it's fair for Shadow to have his first SA2 stage be the "Main stage" of the game.
@@yoursonisold8743 I mean I guess the Ark level I can kind of see as for the Westopolis and Radical Highway connection I don't see it ngl
@@neomachine855 I think Westopolis is basically the same place as Station Square but with a more "apocalyptic" design imo.
@neomachine855 i know its a controversial take but i would have loved them to redo lost impact with a streamlined level design and basic get to the goal ring objective because my GOD lost impact's music is so fkn goooooooddddd
“ See you in the next stage for more Radical Highway, son…ic. “
"See you in the next stage for more radical highway"
And then shadow when to kingdom valley
Ironically, one of the two next stages after this cutscenes will NOT feature Radical Highway, in either act.

" Why do you keep taking me back to Radical Highway? "
" I just think Radical Highwway is so cool. "
"...What? "
" I mean you grind down the suspension cables like fwshhhh, and then the fighter jets come in and drop bombs like boom boom boom! But you dodge them, and then you go in that building with the springs and it's like bwong bwong bwong bwong. Oh my God it's so cool. "
" What are you, twelve? "
"It's just so radical" - Black Doom
Shadow and Black Doom need family counseling something fierce.
"How could i ruin your life? I wasn't even there"
Heeeeey Shaaaaadooow. It's meeeeee. The Deeeeviiiiillll.
i love how the music just stops at 0:18 just to throughly hear the explanation
Press B button to teleport to radical highway
*angrier omochao noises*
"HEY SHADOW, IT'S ME THE DEVIL FROM THE BIBLE, I LOVE RADICAL HIGHWAY, I JUST THINK RADICAL HIGHWAY IS COOL"
Forget the Radical Left and the Radical Right
Give me Radical Highway
I mean, Radical Highway is still really cool even years later. Loved it since I was 8 and I still do now at 25
