A lot of the criticisms around the Jeagerist and alliance kinda fall apart once you realize that Eren DID have a choice, and the full rumbling wasn't the only option here. The thing with Eren was that he wanted that world he dreamt of as a child, the world where he could be free. Even if there was no military threat to Paradis, Eren would still never be able to live a free life due to the horrible people and the racism of the outside. When Eren found out the truth about the world and that there were more things caging him in than just titans and walls, he decides to wipe it all away. The Jeagerists follow him because Eren presents the safest and easiest option for them.
The 50-year plan is ASS. The sterilization plan is ASS too. Eren didn't have any other choice because the full-scale rumbling was the only plan that GUARANTEED the island's safety. If humanity wasn't being bigots, racists, and xenophobic assholes to all eldians and were nice people who decided to help eldians get involved with society, Eren would be free.
I get where you're coming from in the video, it's far from a perfectly crafted story. I think a lot of things fell apart in the end of the series, but I still see it as a great series. However, I feel like a lot of people judge the ending of a series a little too harshly. Things falling apart in the ending doesn't mean everything else in the series doesn't matter. All of the build up, plot twists, and character arcs in the beginning and middle of the series aren't moot just because the resolution wasn't good. It's an amazing series in my mind, I still respect how well crafted everything is outside of the ending bits. I just think saying "attack on titan is an objectively horrible written manga" is pretty harsh considering most of your grievances take place in the latter 10-20% of the story. Think what you want though, I'm not trying to change your opinion or say it's stupid. I just wanna give my perspective.
There's too much that's wrong with the ending because it went against the themes that it told us. The characters that embodied those themes (Eren Historia, etc.) were treated as plot devices or discarded or got retconned completely by the ending. "Things falling apart in the ending doesn't mean everything else in the series doesn't matter." Yes, it does because the ending SHITTED on everything that came before. Hopefully, you understand where we're coming from.
The thing is the ending does ruin a LOT of what came before it and makes the idea of rewatching it honestly a waste of time and an eye sore.
