Try that with a tire on a rusted rim and see how easy it goes. That one looks like it was about to fall off on its own anyway

You are absolutely right, the bead was already broken. This video is just to show the principle of how to break a tyre bead. And yes, you can break a rusted bead on an old rim. Thank for taking the trouble of you comment.

Excellent -- well done! SIMPLE solutions are usually best.
Some of the comments below clearly missed the point (maybe they would understand had you had demonstrated how to set up a demolition, or recover from a stall 😅).

Hey man Kevin here from Australia.
This is an awesome idea. You should sell these with a ratchet strap as a kit.
    ✌ Peace

Looks as if the bead was already broken. It's a bit more violent when the bead breaks I don't care how tight you strap it down.

You are quite right Josh. The idea of the video is to show the principle of how to break the bead. I could have re-inflated the tyre to reseal the bead, but I have better things to do, like making other videos to help people out.
Never the less, I hope you found the video interesting.

Tony......Me thinks you had this tire bead broke before you started, plus it looks like a NEW tire that was just mounted.

Good morning Bob, you are quite right, this video is just to show the principle of breaking the bead on a tyre. I did not have any manky old tyres to try it out on!

You are quite right Juan. You get to a certain point in your life when you don't want to keep fighting everything or doing everything the hard way. You take the junk to the dump and start looking for easier ways to do thinks. That's why I made the bead breaker.

Full of shit. The bead was already broke and there’s much better ways of doing that
