  • The how video you have been looking for. A new trick that Iv learned to solve your problem. If you dont have a rail road, anything you can use for a ramp that will hold up the weight of your vehicle will work, just drill you a 1" 1/2 hole in your ramp closer to the end so your able to adjust the chisel to the size tire your working on 👍

I used a bottle neck jack and the back end of my tractor worked great on my 10 ply truck tires

I'll tell you a easier way to break the bead . Diesel fuel yeah I know sounds like 🐂 but saved me.
    Stay blessed.

Such a great idea with one exception. Where are you supposed to find a RR rail?

2023=Liked, Thank you for the upload, i maybe gonna try this on a harley 16x3 rear factory spoke rim. Take off tire on rear rim is new and install on a new rear rim duh? Ive tried c clamps and bead spoons but this make it look easy for those hard to break resting in the weeds ill git to it later kinda situations.

Awesome and nice job! :) Thanks for the video!
Wondering if the rim's bead rests or flange gets beat up from the chisel? In any case, nice job! :D

If this is an end of life tyre, this is okay because otherwise the tyre is getting crushed too much.

with the way, I finally break the bead and removed the stuck tire. I use a 3 feet of 4x4 wood instead of the metal railroad track.

Did that method damage the rim, because I want to use a rim I want to try your trick on, I know you doing cleaning in your yard, and I figured you scrapping those rim,but this is genius if it doesn't hurt the rim😉👍

Gerald McClellan as your photo shows a boxer a reply for you re your comment as reply from a kickboxer .... if you get my reply - if you want too take a tyre off while sitting down or standing at a table or work bench as if u really need too save the wheel without and very little damage & save money& save fuel cost and time ... try this one - tools required 1-sharp knife ,2- a good pair off wire snips ,3 -a decent medium sized flat headed screwdriver, 4 - a bit off rubber or cardboard as too prize your screw driver on later on in u can remove a tyre Free in without all off this hassle in puffing & blowing .... now you have too cut the main part off the tyre off all the way round the side off the tyre on both sides just above say the little close lip rubber bit just a few mm away from the outer side rim off the wheel ...ie leaving only a small amount off the inner rim off the rubber tyre that’s attached too the steel or alloy rim on - can be done in “second “... as there are about 10-12 bits off wire a few mm thick inner rim - as that’s the main issue this guy is having is how a tyre is kept on a rim .... so now you cut into the rubber that’s left around the rim like a half moon 🌒 at one location -shape 🌙 push in your screw driver prize out a single loop off wire in cut - should get a few wire bands at the same time then pull wire away a little in then cut a little more rubber off the inner rim in continue process ie prize out wire in cut till your right throw all the wires on the tyre rim - then there a little inner rubber left ...once you have done it then you will truly understand a how manufactured tyre is made as after that u simply remove the bit off the rubber rim still attached .... all say there a few other ways too remove a tyre free in faster ... it’s possible too also use the weight off a vehicle with a bit off metal attached too the tow-bar bolts main frame where the tow ball is located fixed in all you do is use the weight off the vehicle as like a piston compression process as using a trolley jack too lift up& then lower down the vehicle weight as pounds off pressure ... using just a bit off metal shaped a bit like what a real garage uses too push the rim off - down .... in as this guy did use crow bars but he would have been better using one at each side off the main one he attached first .... so if you don’t try you don’t know

I have done this on my own personal rims and never affected them. Maby a little scratch if anything but that's on the inside nothing to worry about. Thanks for watching

Diesel fuel would make it easier once you get the bead broke down and a spray bottle 1bottle is equivalent to about 7/10 bottles of soap and water and a much better lubricant, can be used for removal and installation. Hope this help helps you. Wished I could find someone with your work ethic

If the tire is trash, why not just cut the tire off the rim? Cutting tires is very easy.

You’ve obviously never tried to cut a tire off a rim, it’s a huge pain in the ass.
