My first year trapping been watching you for years. I could definitely see getting way sucked into it. What mistake catches have you had. Not sure if crazy or normal. Our cat , squirrel, red tailed hawk. All released perfectly and ok.

I'm new to trapping and have wondered about critters pulling out of offset jaw traps. I dont know what size it is but I have an offset Bridger thats about the same size as a Duke 550. I caught a grey squirrel in it. Im not worried anymore.

I canine trap Yates Center area while I'm hunting the rut - 3 locations and have a double almost every night - my trapping time is very limited because I'm hunting but I'm still catching dogs. I'd love to take a few weeks and run a good line - line up serval properties. Getting permission to trap January gotta be easy.
