How much did this cost? I'm assuming the residents there didn't pay a penny more than me to replace their roads. There is a reason insurance companies are bailing out of this state. Living on the water is awesome, but every few years this happens and people want to rebuild the SAME INFRASTRUCTURE so literally 500 hundred people get to live "Island Life" again....at some point the other 10 million residents have to step up and stop paying for this. It's no different than Sanibel...at some point we need to understand and be clear that those areas are "underwater". I'm done paying "recovery money" every time a storm hits
