I believe that a complete chapter about our constitution including some important amendments and other important things should be added to the syllabus at a later stage of our education, maybe at 12th standard or can be a compulsory subject to qualify in bachelors like environmental studies. You started by talking about a newspaper ad. You conveniently failed to mention that BJP spokespersons explained that the image was of the original preamble of the constitution that was adopted on 26th Jan 1950, not the one which Indira Gandhi ammended
You talked about BJP CMs talking about bringing UCC but conveniently forgot to mention that it is part of Article 44 of the constitution where it states that the government will aim to bring a Uniform Civil Code.
BTW a Uniform Civil Code is the very definition of Secularism. There will be no different laws based on religion. This actually makes BJP the actual secular party
You failed to mention why only one group of people have a problem with the Uniform Civil Code
You failed to mention that Hindu Personal Laws were all reformed in 1950's and 70 years later we are still trying to debate refoming Muslim Personal Laws. Anyone who attempts to do it is termed communal. So one more definition of secularism as is practised today is Muslim Appeasement
You covered the Shah Bano case but neglected to mention what happened just after that when a "secular" congress overturned the SC judgement to appease its Muslim votebank

UCC is what India is to "aim for" but Indians are not even getting fundamental rights which are guaranteed by the Constitution.
There are more things in this, you can search video of Owaisi. Going for UCC even right now 75 years after independence is like skipping many steps to achieve political aim of "one" party. Last thing, b jp is not a secular party by a long shot. So good luck convincing most ppl of that one.

When an Indian Muslim migrates to US he happily follows UCC. Why not in India
@@soumitrakandpal I am not opposed to UCC, but first give them good education, healthcare, "real" political representation (bjp has 0 muslim MPs in lok sabha and fielded 0 muslim candidates from UP), dont systematically attack their way of life from what they can wear to what they can eat to who they should or should not marry, dont create riots and dump only muslims in jail, dont indiscriminately bulldoze their homes/shops, dont create fake theories like love jihad which have repeatedly debunked by courts but continue to be used for hateful propaganda including actively making laws to make such marriages very difficult (even though they are rare anyways), dont target innocents with draconian laws like Sedition, UAPA etc, the list is endless. All things are mentioned are about fundamental rights. Let bjp guarantee and implement these things first.
@@amols101 It is a chicken and egg situation. Muslims don't vote for BJP even when they take all benefits like Ujjwala scheme, housing, swach bharat etc. In fact they actively opppose voting for BJP. Then they cry that BJP doesn't give them political representation. In fact any Muslim who is close to BJP is villified like Shahnawaz Hussain, Mohd. Arif Khan etc. Why should BJP give tickets to Muslims just to see them lose
