Just the information I needed.... Just finished 2 baby blankets using the Big Twist yarn... THEN I realized that it said no drying in a dryer.. Woops... but this lets me relax about the blankets!! Thank you...

THIS VIDEO IS A LIFESAVER!!!! I have this big afghan and I mean BIG that my friend made out of this yarn and I’ve been needing to wash it, but was scared of ruining it. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Great job ❤ This is such a great video. Thank you so much for testing the yarn for us. Looks the same to me, just a tiny bit smaller. I had a feeling it could be dried. Was just thinking it might get fuzzy. But doesn't look like it did 👍
I tested killing a swatch of Big Twist Value and it was not pretty. Definitely made me afraid to attempt the dryer, but after seeing this maybe it’s okay for one time on a finished project if I’m gentle! Thanks for trying it out for us :)
Thank you..also was wondering about pilling? It kept me from buying this yarn, but after watching your video..I'm going to buy some .it's on a good sale today..thanks again!!! 🙋♀️
Good review. I have a blanket I made out of big twist yarn, and the only thing different I've noticed from repeated dryings, is that it gets a little fuzzy.
Thanks for the information. Love wash comparison videos. Do you recommend washing 100% cotton yarn before beginning your projects? I always worry when gifting items they will shrink and. not fit anymore.
This is a great video thank you! I was wondering, have you ever washed a skein of yarn before working with it? I'm gonna crochet a blanket with black, orange, and white yarn (I'm using big twist as well) and I was thinking about pre washing the black and orange skeins before I make the blanket, so that when it does get washed the colors don't bleed into the white. Have you ever done that? Thank you!
Great question! No I have not washed before using, as far as I can tell these colors do not run or transfer so you should be okay. I’m told to wash that you can put them in pantry house and tie it off to keep it from coming apart. I hope this helps 🤗
Thanks for doing this test, I was curious as to what happens to this yarn when it's dried in a dryer. Did you end up washing and drying the swatch more times? How do you like your Jammit machine? I had bought one and tried using it but it kept splitting the yarn and wasn't knitting okay so I had to return it. I'm not sure if this issue happens alot or is specific to the vendor I used on Amazon or to those machines.
I’m going to be doing more washes soon. The Jammit is nice but does take some getting use to. Thank you for your questions! I’ll be sure to do some more videos soon!
Oh WoW Kiana, that is so exciting!!!! I am really happy you found this and left your kind commented! Thank you so much! I hope you keep in touch! Sending well wishes xo

No fuzzies were found, not sure how it will do after a few washes and drys though?
Thank you 🙏
Hi Dawn..........Watching what I missed........💗💗

Great video. Seems so weird that you could "light iron" it but not dry it. I would think with an acrylic it would be the other way around.

Thanks for sharing! I was really wondering about that!
Looks like it shrunk a tiny bit but it looks great! Thanks for testing
Maybe the stitches look the tiniest bit tighter on camera, but not that I could tell in person 🤔
Would have helped of I had the swatches all in the same direction 😂
Great review and so good to know because I use this yarn! I have a loom too but no idea how to use it or what to use it for! 😊❤

Had to come and drop off some 🧶
Thank you so much! Hope to see you again soon my new friend 🤗
I'm shocked the dryer didn't make it shrink significantly
Me too! I'm going to have to do more experiments soon 😂

Do you know if the colors fade
After 1 wash there was no fading. I do plan on doing a follow up video soon, where I wash out several more times.
Big Twist is pretty good. I haven't bought a new one in a long time but the items I made held up nicely. I enjoy these kinds of videos.
