I hope you'll consider reacting to season three of Skam or it's remakes (I loved Druck the most--most gritty, more LGBTQ to the storyline, etc.). If you haven't seen them, don't look up details for fear of spoilers, though. Just know that each season follows a different character's perspective so you can start with 3, skipping 1 and 2, and miss very little. Also, season 3, in addition to being LGBTQ, is also the season that made the show internationally famous and spawned all the remakes. I just discovered it a few months ago because all of the Young Royals fans said that all the things I loved about Young Royals (the realism, the chemistry, the age-appropriate actors, the softness, to some degree, the music) were things they first saw in Skam. I'd argue that Druck did it all even better, but it's cool to see the original first so you can see how Druck changed it up.

Plus the music, very melancholic dreamy, suits my particular taste. I really like how the German Isak (Matteo) is a lot more forward than Isak is and how he and the German Even (David) are the same age and kind of take turns pushing forward their relationship - it feels like two equals rather than someone who's almost like a mentor to the other (which I know turns around in the OG after Isak looks after Even at the end). Also, the Jonas and Eva characters (Jonas and Hannah) continue to pine for each other in future seasons (it always bugged me how Eva was just all into making out with Chris in season 3) and we see more of Hannah's relationship with Matteo, which I always thought was missing in the original.

Love your commentary but disagree about Simon selling the drugs has nothing to do with the situation Wilhelm is in. If Simon hadn't made August sell the drugs there would be none for Wilhelm to take. Both August and Simon are super lucky that Wilhelm didn't overdose because that would have been really bad but more for Simon.
