Rodney was a genius of the one liners and being as orignal as he was because of his childhood exposure to the cruelty of the world, it will be along time before we see the likes of him again. RIP Rodney......rip
@Joseph Gutierrez True, I wish they had this playing on radio stations and when I try to shazam it no result, no result, they need to update music they don't recognize, no respect still, LOL, but for real though.
Rodney was always ahead and trying new stuff. Like here incorporating hip hop in his act. And I saw him in one interview in the early 2000's where he was promoting his new website. Respect.
At the beginning, I wasn't sure if this would work and be funny, but it's Rodney and he makes everything funny - and the skit climaxed into non-stop laughter!

I have a lot of respect for the late Rodney Dangerfield for doing this. I listened to the studio recording and thought they must have used some serious editing to get this to work. Rodney's no recording artist. But surprise, surprise! He was no singer, but he definitely had the skills to pull this off live.
0:17 That happened to me once. I was 12. me and buddies would play hide and seek tag at one of our houses. We did this every friday for like 4 months. Then one friday we played hide and seek and they didn't even look for me. I went in 30 minutes they were playing xbox, they said they wanted to talk without me and weren't inviting me the next week. That was the last time I ever hung out at that guy's house. All of us fell out a couple months later. We never said a word to each other all of high school. No respect at all.
I was a kid when this album came out. side a was the song and the instrumental i believe. side be was a comic routine done somewhere. i vaguely remember the routine and would love to hear it again video audio or video if it exists on you tube.
My gosh, 41 years have passed since this was aired on television. Rodney is gone, and jokes about suicide would be cancelled. So much has changed, mostly for the better, but this man still makes me bust a gut with lines I've heard so many times.
RODNEY DANGERFIELD ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL TIME TILL THIS DAY HES STILL FUNNY AS HELL🤣🤣 R.I.P. RODNEY 🙏 YOU ARE TRULY MISSED 🌟🌟 THAT'S WHEN COMEDY WAS COMEDY
Robert Urich was a great actor. He's dressed in the baseball outfit on stage and he's dancing too. He passed away years ago. He played in a show for TV called "Vegas".☺

It took him a while to make it with his No Respect skit, however, when he did, he really covered a few decades. Great comedian.

Love this song
This is even better than the album version.
I think it's more like "Disco Rodney", which is awesome in a different way!

HHBD Rodney Dangerfield 💔💔🧁
Good stuff
It is very difficult to impersonate Rodney, but it is really fun trying.
You should have seen my Latin teacher, Mr. Gut. He got no respect at all, too, and both of them reminded me of the other.
Rodney to disco--so 1980s.

Hey give me a break! Play something from the 40's! How about Stardust......Hey what are you doing? That's not Stardust! I mean where are the flutes?
He was awesome and missed so much. But why was actor Robert Urich in this video not a good fit ?
I think he was the official host for that episode.
He was my neighbor and used to hit on my widowed mother in the elevator. Didn't seem to like me much.
I am glad the laughing track was there, otherwise I wouldn’t know what was funny. Did not age well.
Fred Stoller did it better
26 people bought some quicksand, and the deal fell through.
