ive caught bluegill around those pillars before but never bass then you guys get the same or two big diff ones there lol. truthfully i do like to toss in by those pillars a lot because its like the classic spot to find a bass. but i just never got one.. the crazy thing the water is already a lot higher now like 1 foot from the fishing pier now. i been skunking lately. nice ones though. i dont know if i would want to get a tank there though because it might get wrapped up in the docks. still awesome and nice classic fishing move. i actually had a classic moment there a few weeks ago near the reeds way in the back. too bad its not always like that there. pulling up 5s. gl out there. i did see fish jumpinig in the recent windy weekend saw some guy catching stripers off the west dock at the upper in the wind.. after i skunked for largies.. my recent vid has a huge dead carp i found at upper the other day and a 3lb dead bass or so at the lower the next day. a lot of times when i walk the lagoon i also find dead birds and i know for fact after fishing at night for a month straight at the lagoon people bring their bb guns and fuck around. so people are probably killing animals on purpose.the fish i never know though because people release hurt fish all the time.. instead of just killing it and keeping it. the dead carp though remind me of maybe someone catch it going for largemouth think it was a nice huge largie then its a carp so they kill it but who knows. people do catch carp going for largemouth though but unless i see em kill it what can you do. but ya i see dead fish and birds a lot out there more dead birds at lagoon though on the fishing side where they can camp.
If people pay for there license and are legal they can keep what they want if its a legal size. To many amateur fisherman want to be pros out there. To each is own

Oh dang I just realized I fished next to ya'll this past Sunday by the upper lake dam, I think your pops caught one on the dropshot so I switched to the dropshot and caught one a short time after he did lol. Subscribed

I dont eat bass, but i dont mind people eating bass anymore.. Small ones... Let the big ones go back for sure ... The small ones need to be culled anyway.

There is a group of poachers that flyline live bluegill during the spawn months at the goon And take everything. They come at night and just pillage. One night I seen them with two female's in the 5 lbs range and a huge 8lber in a couple of Walmart bags. 😠
Mind to explain why that is bad? I understand that during spawn that is not ok, but in the video you said also it is not ok to take largemouth. How come? Also why would those people leave the fish? Isn’t it ok to take fish home after u caught them? Sorry I’m just new to the lake and fishing in Cali and US. Just curious.
+Gteam Outdoors Also, the black bass regs at Castaic are completely counter intuitive, since in many lakes people are allowed to keep 12-15 inch black bass, but anything above or under must be thrown back. I’m not sure why Castaic encourages those who eat large mouth bass to keep only the bigger ones.
No the small one bud, The Biglake is good right now too I think if your fish from the dam with a drop shot you should be able to catch a couple smallies and largemouth

Yes once you pay for parking at one of the lakes doesn’t matter whether it’s a top or the bottom you could use that parking pass at both of them
