- My take from it is that Hope is dating Landon because she wants a "normal" life, and her lesson is that she's going to have to let go of that dream and accept that she is not meant for that.

My Theory is that Malivore isn't trying to actually take over Landon but instead trying to protect him from the Beings that had created Malivore, and thats why he created other beings like clarke to find Landon, Landons mother probably knows more than she told Landon and Hope and Malivore just wants to keep his son safe....I think eventually Malivore will get Landon an during that time he will take landon somewhere far from the school or even Mythic Falls with his mother who is still inside malivore and they will teach Landon what he is and can really do. The Beings that created Malivore will probably track down landon and malivore and saving landon will probably end up with them killing Malivore and his mother... Landon gets away and starts hunting down the beings that killed them. I think that will be the start of Landons Journey as he grows and becomes more Wiser and More Powerful.... He will most likely be separated from Hope and the rest for a while and He probably won't let Hope and Ralph or the others help him on his Journey. I hope that this will he his own personal journey, while along the way meeting new characters and some of the old characters along with also expanding the legacies/Originals/VampireDiaries Universe.
I think the Ethan and Maya issue was probably gonna be dealt with during the last 4 episodes of the season
I think there’s no last 4 episodes anymore. Only season 3 because on the pandemic. They haven’t filmed the last 2 episodes yet and haven’t finished post production on the other 2.

I have been asking about this for a while they were in like 2/3 episodes and then never mentioned again like why even make that storyline but I hope they at least close that stroyline.

Victoria Olsen it’s likely it won’t be over till July here in Georgia and that’s normally when they start shooting new seasons. Most shows are leaving on cliff hangers and gonna add extra episodes to the next season. No one is gonna complain because everyone is going through the pandemic and we understand they’re unable to film. It sucks we’re gonna have to wait months but we will get to see what happens eventually.

Id be surprised if we saw Ethan and Maya again. I think that whole SL was over exaggerated. Its a bummer the show just dropped them. They also dropped Pedro.
I hate how the show introduces guest stars and doesn't go anywhere with them either, i wish they would flesh out their characters more.
Elia Simon I think Pedro's character is in and out of the show just like Jed and Wade. They're as needed.

yeah i feel like raf was brought in as a main character with a good storyline but now he’s not in scenes as much and the storylines he gets don’t last long and aren’t very entertaining
