Actors are presented with certain scenarios and told exactly how to act and how to react to specific things, that's literally what acting is. They don't just improvise in front of the camera, lol. My thoughts exactly!! You can definitely tell that this is a big problem with why the actors don’t channel the same energy as those from TVD/TO. The shows had a completely different feel to Legacies, but the actors literally have no idea where so much of the background info comes from, even basic things, and that goes a long way in building your characters personality.

Its like Legacies is moving more and more away from what made The Vampire Diaries and The Originals such big hits and moving towards a modern day Harry Potter. I love Harry Potter but not like this.... It's nice seeing the actors smile and have fun again, even though this was a year ago. Much like everything we see and love on TV, it feels like we are a part of it too when we watch anything we like. I know I'm super late, but iirc the Originals are so old that they lost the ability to turn it off. Just completed binge watching Legacies and I have to say it's not bad only people who haven't watched till the end are ranting about it, I mean season 4 was on par with TVD and TO🙂 And the best of all the characters were amazing.
Klaus was disconnected from his sired lined thats why marcel was able to take control of him and lock him up and all those people Klaus wrong wanted to kill him and revenge

I know I'm super late, but iirc the Originals are so old that they lost the ability to turn it off. Like, they're so disconnected from their human selves that they don't have humanity in the same capacity as a human who was turned more recently and is still connected to their humanity, if that makes sense.

Just completed binge watching Legacies and I have to say it's not bad only people who haven't watched till the end are ranting about it, I mean season 4 was on par with TVD and TO🙂 And the best of all the characters were amazing.

If hybrids _don't_ need a daylight ring, then why would it matter whether hayley had one on or not when she died? She burnt up in the sun, but as a hybrid, that shouldn't have happened. So you are half correct lol. Remember, TO final season featured those nazi vampires who wanted to eradicate werewolves/hybrids. They hijacked Hayley, lured Hope, & threatened to kill Hope unless their witch could "strip" Hayley of her hybrid nature, which made her a regular vampire unable to go in the sun. That is how she was able to die that way.

Legacies doesn’t revolve around anything from tvd or to so they didn’t have to watch the shows since legacies is really separate from the rest of the series.

Saying legacies is totally seperate from tvd and to is like saying trigonometry and basic arithmatics are totally seperate.
