Replacing music with Quran is a great solution. Also, listening to nasheeds over music can help. As for completely stopping listening to music, I haven't got there. I don't believe that music is haram but I avoid listening to the music with dirty language.
@@SyedaKhairunnisa12 one Imam told me that Music is like idle talk, and I think someone else said that the Prophet Mohammed PBUH never listened to people playing instruments or singing but i haven’t seen it for myself in the Quran or Sunnah, Allah knows best
@@SyedaKhairunnisa12 I only converted about 6-7 months ago, I’m 23 i used to play different musical instruments for my School’s Jazz and Orchestra bands (I was basically an instrumentalist ) but now I want to focus my discipline on my Deen. I feel in a way I am sacrificing my musical skills for Allah but IDK maybe I’ll read Quran and Hadeeth and find that musicality and instruments aren’t haram, Ya Allah Increase Us and strengthen our connection to our Deen.
