    Are you sure there is 12 premium seat per row? Economy don't even have that many seats per row, usually around 9 or 10 per row and that is crammed.

      Oops. thanks for highlighting that typo error. It’s actually 8 seats per row in a 2-4-2 configuration.

    There's a drawback to NH111 if the final destination is Manila Philippines doesn't work well with NH869 HND-MNL forcing you to do PR423 codeshare with NH. That's why they take the morning flight NH11 since its works well with NH819 NRT-MNL.
    Looking at your economy class section it's a 3-4-2 layout seen on JL B777-246/ER MD-11 MS B777-266/ER.

    Is there a dedicated lavatory for premium economy passengers?

    • @TripandTravels
      @TripandTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      The premium economy cabin is relatively small with only 3 rows of seats hence it doesn’t feature a dedicated lavatory, instead need to share the economy class lavatory.

    15 of us are flying ANA premium economy from ORD to NAR. I see you were sitting in the front row of Premium Economy. Do you think you’d prefer that row or a row with a seat in front of you? Right now I am in the front row, but middle seating area.

    • @TripandTravels
      @TripandTravels  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Front row middle seat is still a better choice than the middle or last row if you can’t find a window or an aisle seat.

    I wonder when they'll refurbish the 777 cabins for ORD to the new cabins like the routes to JFK

    • @TripandTravels
      @TripandTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      I really wanted to fly with an ANA aircraft features The Room business class but sadly it was an inferior seat in business class. However I believe the morning flight from ORD has the new cabin.

    Just out of curiosity, and I apologize if I missed it, but why was your flight delayed?

    • @TripandTravels
      @TripandTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      We were told that the boarding gate assigned to us was occupied by the Lufthansa flight to FRA, which was delayed in pushing back from the gate. Consequently, our ANA flight couldn't reach the gate at its scheduled time.

      @TripandTravels Thank you for the reply!
      I don't fly very often and was wondering if you could answer a question or two?
      End of November, I am flying to Japan for a vacation. My first flight is a direct flight ( with ANA in premium economy ) from Vancouver to Haneda Airport in Tokyo.
      When I come back in two weeks, I will be flying from Kansai Airport in Osaka back to Haneda for my return flight to Canada.
      Do I need to go through customs at Kansai Airport or at Haneda?
      The other question is will I need to get my checked suitcase or will it get transferred to my next flight automatically?
      My layover between flights is only about 90 minutes.
      Any help would be appreciated.

    • @TripandTravels
      @TripandTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@riffgrooveHappy to assist! You'll be checking in your baggage in Osaka, and it will go all the way to Vancouver without needing to collect it at Haneda and recheck. Regarding customs and immigration, the flight from Kansai to Haneda is domestic, so you'll need to clear immigration and customs at Haneda for your onward flight.
      Also, a helpful tip: ANA provides complimentary lounge access to Premium Economy guests and they serve champagne from the business class cabin, after the meal service, so make sure to take advantage of it! Safe travels!

    • @riffgroove
      @riffgroove ปีที่แล้ว

      @TripandTravels I am looking forward to the using the lounge access privileges when I depart from Vancouver.
      But when I return, a 90 minute layover is a pretty tight window, so I'm not sure if I will have time to at Haneda.
      Flying premium economy is really great when you're doing a 10+ hour flight.
      Just the extra few inches of space alone make the upgrade totally worth it.
      Thanks again!

    • @TripandTravels
      @TripandTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@riffgroove from my personal
      experience, 90mins is doable. However, by any chance if you can’t make it the ANA staff will accommodate you in the next available ANA flight or their partner airlines.
