I love it when you told your mom she would love their music. I'm 57 yrs old, and BTS is pretty much the only music I listen to since I found them four years ago.
They always put everything into their performances, but this one was special. It was a free concert in Busan and it was their LAST concert together before their military service and before they'll be back together in 2025. Also, it was their first performance of "RUN BTS"; they had released their anthology album "PROOF" and it only had 3 new songs, "Yet to Come", "RUN BTS", and "For Youth"; they had performed the other two live on music shows, so this was the first live performance for this song. :) They also knew this entire concert that the following morning, HYBE would be announcing that they were all rescinding their military postponement (they were allowed to postpone until they were 30 instead of 28 to serve) and would be entering the military. Thankfully, Jin is now home, jhope will be home in October, and less than 10 months to go before we get the rest back!!!!!!!!💜
Tell your Mom to keep going with BTS. I am so glad my daughter introduced me to them over 4 years ago. ARMY in our family alone range from 5-90! That's the beauty of ARMY, all ages, & BTS love them all. Every member of BTS are multi-talented, yet remain humble. Loved your Mom's reaction. Korean politicians created a very specific law that is nicknamed the BTS law because only BTS qualifies that makes a delay for military service for 2 years possible. They - in part - used it. But politicians refused to make a decision for an excemption or not (funny thing is I hear the SK president did not serve). Jin is back and doing all kinds of activities since June 12th - including being a torch bearer at the Louvre in Paris and a just dropped Run Jin episode. It's on the channel. Hobi will soon be back, too. It seems the last basic class he tought has ended already. For the Dynamite stage the Grammy - after seeing them do this for an American talk show - asked BTS and HYBE to recreate the Grammy venue (Covid restrictions) for the performance BTS did in Seoul. BTS agreed and took it to the top. How do you have the air for these kind of performances? Lots and lots of training on treadmills while singing/with oxygen deprivation masks like athlets because that is what they are. Apobangpo!
Your mom might be surprised to know how many of us DopeOldARMY are out there. There are whole communities of us on Facebook, X, Threads, Blue Sky, Tik-Tok, etc. Thousands of us are out there, as old as in their 80s and 90s. I am 58, live in Tennessee, and have been ARMY for four years.
She should really check out MMA Dynamite performance!! If she like MJ she definitely will love that performance… (Nt; due to shoulder surgery Yoongi won’t be their but they left his space open & didn’t sing his part)

I don't know when you made the video and whether you have learned more or not. I just have to say that Jungkook is exactly like BT's kid. S is like me because he has been in the group since he was 14 years old and according to all 6 of his hyungs, he is the extract of ten years of their existence, and it is interesting that Jungkook only cries in one way, that is when his hyungs cry, otherwise nothing upsets this kid. does not
