During the Vlive last night after the Grammys they said they’re were so nervous about the performance since JK and Hobi were diagnosed with Covid a week before and Jin had his finger operated on two weeks ago so they didn’t have a lot of time to practice it. JK only got out of quarantine Saturday morning and Hobi only arrived in Vegas Saturday so they essentially had one full day to practice it! Hobi said they messed up that jacket part so many times and only did it perfectly once. But my goodness they did it perfectly during the Grammys! These 7 men are the best at what they do! They started practising this since many weeks ago. Same time Jin got injured and I'm oretty sure its due to the jacket pulling segment. But Hobie n JK getting covid do put a halt to their training. Plus they do not have a lot of time to rehearse at the venue but it has slways been like this. Each act is given one hour or so to go through their performance.
The feat they pulled off even with all of the setbacks is super impressive. There was only one noticeable mistake (stumbling), but J-Hope recovered smoothly. I didn’t even notice it at first because I was so focused on the members at the forefront.

Than we got graffiti, their tag and lyrics (I recognized "Fire" but there was another song, too... either "Dope" or "I need U" - I'm not sure). That was replaced with old photos of their "Most Beautifull Moments in Life" aera. And their was actually something of with the lasers, too. Suga said he got hit multiple times because of it.
there is another layer to it, people said it's James Bond related but it also could go along with Oceans Eleven, they performed in Las Vegas which is known for Casinos which appear frequently in these films
They got the only standing ovation of the night, and their performance was ranked as the best by Billboard, especially considering how Billboard has a bad habit of being petty towards BTS, it really says they smashed the scene. They really did sensation, and I'm glad that despite not winning the ARMYs they were able to focus on hyping their performance. I don't think ARMYs are upset or anything with Doja Cat and SZA, who by the way also had an amazing year. ARMYs are more pissed off at the Grammys for using BTS' notoriety for ratings and holding us hostage throughout the ceremony. I won't go into details because it would take time, but know that this story between the Grammys, ARMYs and BTS has been going on for four years now, and it seems to continue. Hopefully next year they won't be snubbed out of main categories like this year when they had the most successful year in the global industry. And even with some ARMYs - me included - we think they will be nominated with a song in Korean next year. Let's hope it's the case, and that they continue to write history and push representation for Asians in the west.

I love this statement so much!!! Not even a hardcore army (new and basic fan) but can’t help but feel a little disappointed for them HOWEVER, they were the HIGHLIGHT of the night. They definitely got everyone’s attention and respect. No one right now can do what they do. Love what you said about Asian representation in the West. The reason they lost is not because of tight competition, not because someone else deserve better. BTS blew away all competition. The Grammys members simply refused to vote for them. BTS are outsiders who are more suscessful than them. They can't let their rice bowl get disturbed further.

i'd disagree cause the biggest they had was kiss me more by doja and sza, it is widely praised by critics due to the Amazing vocal chemistry showcased, if anyone was going to beat bts it was definitely that song as it was deserving as well.

1. Jungkook has a solo song called Euphoria and in concerts he used to fly over the fans, and even years before at an 2016 award show he was also suspended on wires in the air. He is a huge adrenaline junky. So there was an inside ARMY joke everytime BTS perform that BTS is gonna fly on the stage. So imagine the absolute SHOCK that it actually happened... all ARMY memes came true hahahah 2. I don't know if you noticed but Jin had surgery on his fingers not long ago, which is why he was sitting most of the performance, but again: they are so good that people who dont know all 7 members dont even notice his cast and absence from the dance break. We are really grateful that he even attended the show. Jungkook and Jhope also both had covid and literally just got cleared. So a lot of us were nervous only 4 members would attend which we knew would make them upset since they hate being 'sick' 3. You got Jimin and Suga right! 🥳 Jimin and Suga sometimes have days where they are both wearing literally the same outfit so don't be too hard on yourself! 4. "Smooth like butter, like criminal undercover" it is so funny and cool they focused on this line and made the performance a heist, especially since they are in Las Vegas which in my mind also screams heist hahaha 5. Pictures on the back were mostly from HYYH era aka 'most beautiful moments in life' which is an album triology they released back in 2015-2016. Your House of cards song and perfromance was from that time and they like to put easter eggs to that time because there is a whole complicated storyline connected to HYYH, for a while there was talks of a kdrama coming out based on it, we even got actors casting, but then covid happened... so we dont know now 6. ARMYs aren't really that mad BTS didn't win. What ARMYs are pissed about is they used Butter for promo of their show, they used BTS and ARMY in all of their posts and promos too. They switched their category back into the main show KNOWING they won't win simply so we would watch it. They hyped only BTS, I didnt watch the show because it starts at 2am my time and I still have ZERO idea who even performed except BTS because all media attention is on them and not on actual winners and 'mainstream' artists. It is not a secret that BTS always does livestreams after American award shows and these livestreams usually have DOUBLE the views than the actual shows even tho we never know when they will happen and if they will actually do it. And this time we even crashed the app they always livestream on. So yeah. The only thing ARMY wants is some respect for BTS and for the media stop using them for views if they dont even plan to give them credit
Fact : Rolling stones have named BUTTER performance as 13th best performance of all time. They were thinking only 4 members would be able to perform but thankfully other 2 recovered from COVID but Jin was hurt but still performed. Proud of him.
The theme was based on the "Smooth like butter, like a criminal undercover" lyrics. Because they are in Las Vegas the performance was inspired by heist movies like Ocean's 11 and Now You See Me. The screen at the back of the stage had images to make it look like they were in a museum, some of those picture were of BTS through the years. Speaking of Ocean's 11, the Bellgio hotel fountain show ( which was shown at the end of the movie) is going to have BTS specific programs.
I think BTS ARMY weren't as upset this year as last year. What we were upset about the most last year was how the Grammy's treated BTS. This year, the Grammy's gave them a lot more respect by having the award during the actual main show, and having them perform at a more reasonable time, and not saying, "BTS will be up next", the whole three hours, when they were second to last performance. BTS were happy this year, and while they were a little sad to have lost, they were just happy that the seven of them were able to be together on the Grammy Stage, and that they got to perform the new version of Butter, and see the other artists perform. They really enjoyed the show. When BTS is happy, ARMY is happy. Then we got to celebrate with them afterward on VLive. They always go online and celebrate with ARMY. The big thing that ARMY's and BTS were happy about, was that Jungkook, and J Hope were recovered from COVID-19. They were diagnosed mid March to toward the end of March, and just recently cleared. Jin tore a ligament in his finger and had a cast on it after he had surgery, so he couldn't perform the whole dance, to minimize possibility of damage. They only had one day to practice the new choreography together as a group, since Hobi and JK were just released from their Quarantine. Anyway, they will be having their 4 day, sold out concert, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, April 8, 9, 15, and 16. so ARMY's have that to look forward to. They will also have Live Play in the MGM Arena, where the Grammy's were held. And, they will live stream April 16th, Day 4 of the concert. I will be attending on the 15th for live play, and the 16th for the Concert. Sorry if my comment was too long. I just felt like explaining. 💜

I just gotta say I've just watched the Grammy performance of Butter and omg I loved the concept of them being being spies, the dance break was just wondering and jin did so well joining in on the last chorus eventho every tuny movement hurts his hand. Also this performance to me must be my fav performance of Butter and I sure hope that their next comeback has a spy type concept and this performance had me speechless and just amazed. Also every member was amazing and totally wrecked me.
A great and highly entertaining performance ( the best of the night) and the biggest kudos to the three knights in shining armor that needed to trooper through all odds, defeat Covid in 0 time, stay sane in quarantine, undergo surgery and to be able to make it just at the very last moment. Amazing Hobi, Jin and Kookie. The whole group slayed but I have never been prouder of those three. Their creative team is something incredible to be able to tailor Butter choreo to take all limitations and obstacles into account and come up with a flawless amazing new choreo that fits their individual needs ( Jin´s post surgery hand still in cast). Impressive. I couldn´t care less for Grammys at this point, that enterprise stopped being relevant years back and their treatment of BTS has been questionable for years, but I am glad the guys were in good spirits and finally got the main stage Yoongi so wanted.
Rolling Stone just dubbed this performance the 13th best of ALL TIME at the Grammys and THE BEST of the night. :) V really through that card in the beginning and JK really caught it. They also were only able to rehearse it together ONCE before the show... they said in their Vlive last night that they think they did better in the rehearsal @_@
No, the card that V threw wasn’t caught by JK. There were fan cams from different angles that showed JK pull a card out of his jacket and hide it behind his back. But they sure pulled off making it look real just like they did with the hat trick 9 years ago!

The other guys commented as well saying that JK was really worried he wouldn't catch it since he hadn't been able to practice all week... that's a paraphrase. The production concept was a genius... since Jin's left hand was injured they innovate their production and it works perfectly amazing. 👏👏👏 They always delivers. We have heard Butter many times but they always make it exciting and something to look forward to every time.

Yes, I'm happy for the other musicians because, they are also hardworking but, if I'm honest BTS really deserved to win. In my opinion years ago but, that's me. Look at Dream Theater (prog metal) they finally received a Grammy for Alien. Long overdue. One of the reasons was their songs are too long. In my personal opinion; such a bad, bad reason. The Grammy's nickname is Scammy's for a reason. It is all about politics. Who you know. BTS are always respectful and humble towatds other musicians and even promote them in their Vlive's. I think it was quite tricky trying to dance, move around and sing on those uneven steps. Perhaps he was also feeling jetlag after arriving in Las Vegas the day before and they had been practising hard. The Bangtan Boys are always professional and have great showmanships.
Yeah, the irony. 😉 I noticed he suddenly popped out on the right and I thought he was going straight up the stairs and then turned back. Replayed and realised he almost fell. Towards the end when JK looks right at the camera while going down the stairs, he almost tripped as well. Thank goodness they were ok.

I love how the Grammys have no idea the level that BTS go to for non American Award Show's. That performance was smooooooth ok but we know what they can do at the MAMA's and the MMA's 2017 to 2022. They simply take them over. Those award shows with much much longer and bigger stage time and stage sets including having fire on stage on some of them. They know how to put on a show they've been doing it for 10years.
BTS is used to awards shows with thousands and thousands of people watching live, like the MMAs and with enormous stages. I suggest you check out "MMA 2019 BTS performance" (this one is the ONE) and MMA 2018 and you will see there's nothing like that here in west. 💜

Doja win was taken gracefully by both BTS and ARMY the complaining is about Grammy. Grammys were very fishy with them literally using them as eye candy 2 years ago- top dup group performance was in the main award show. At this time BTS was not nominated. Last year- BTS first nomination in the top duo group performance category and suddenly the award is pushed to the pre-show BUT BTS performance was one of the last performances of the MAIN show. Grammys wanted the viewership so kept at last. This year- not only did they move this category to the main show but also announced it with last top categories again to keep the viewership to the end. And when doja won, they IMMEDIATELY switched their cameras showing BTS while doja was giving the speech to capture any little reaction to get clickbait headlines. Looking at all this, it does look a bit suspicious the way they use BTS. Even on twitter they keep making tweets about BTS specifically to get engagements. BTS knows this too. They spoke about it in their after Grammys live
The Grammy need to re-evaluate their judging system. They are confused between a collab and Group/duo categories. Also, each year, the only give BTS one nomination and always put BTS last during the show. This year, they put their performance first and the announcement last. The Grammy has been using BTS for four years now and army know it.
I was trying to focus on group not Collab, but that's Grammys. Bts is a group not duo not Collab, so what is Grammy not much. I hope my boys get over the racial bias Grammys and move on. Bts is super global group, they don't need the Grammys, they need Army which they have. So no more Grammys, they are biased and declining in ratings. Grammys has a very poor record when it comes to giving awards to non white artists. They are happy to use artists like BTS and Beyonce etc to pull in viewers but then only put them forward for lesser awards. There has been a whole thing about 'urban' music having it's own catagory when of course all genres should come under the 'best song/album' umbrella. BTS are very humble and used the experience to meet their favourite artists and learn from them..... and that's why they are who they are. Army is just happy if they are happy. We will support them if they want it but tbh we don't really value the Grammys because we know that the deck is stacked against BTS (and many other amazing artists too).

Definitely an amazing performance. From Army’s perspective, we also understand that Jungkook (JK), just passed 7 days of his Covid diagnosis, and was cleared on Friday, that he was no longer contagious. J-Hope was just cleared a few days ago from Covid and just arrived in LV from Korea, on Saturday, Jin is recovering from hand surgery, and they practiced this just once before the performance. They are amazing and always put in 100%. 💜💜💜💜💜 BTW- you were correct! V was chatting up Olivia Rodrigo, Jimin was in the middle of Suga on the left and JK on the right! 💜

I do slightly disagree. The song from Doja and SZA did deserve a win but not in this particular category. This category is a duo/group and Doja and Sza did only collaborate, more the song is from Doja ft. SZA. I would be even happy if Coldplay did win as both them and BTS are a permanent group/band. I do not think it is ok to put 2 people who collaborate/feature with permanent groups/bands/duos in this category. For me a duo is someone like Dan and Shay or Pet Shop Boys or Simon and Garfunkel or The Chainsmokers or Wham! or Outkast or Great Big World. 3 out of the 5 nominees in this category is collaboration. Grammy should make then a new category if they want so much to give the awards to artist who collaborate and not to the actual artist who really represent the category.
They are and always sing live. WATCH the original Butter mv and Bside of the song. If you thought JK's entrance was something... he was up there for a while as they gave out an award prior to their performance. Jimin text him and they all kept an eye on him to make sure he was fine. He just recovered 2 days prior from sickness. Of course, he was strapped in. Like I mentioned before... they always do things for a reason. The art disappears/heist and is replaced with foreshadowing of the new album coming out this year. And, Snoop dog will be doing a song with them and possibly Michael Buble whose album is in the Tiny Desk video where Jimin is singing. Everything is for a reason with these guys... I love it. Now Jhope just flew in the day prior for this performance and was only able to practice with them twice he too recovered from Covid. They had a lot of pressure on them as they where the highlight of the show and the Grammys of course used them for their ratings, Grammy people were concerned that all the boys wouldn't be able to perform and went out of their way to do whatever they wanted... ratings, you know. BTS thought they would get a Grammy for all the hoopla put up about them being there... but they lost again and BTS will probably not perform or show up again for them just for ratings of the show.
That jacket trick took a lot of practice and was risky because they can get their jackets entangled. They showed the behind-the-scenes for that in another video.
Yeah, this was an epic performance of Butter. As performers, BTS blow every other act out of the water imo, they are so professional, so polished, no one else comes close. And this performance was almost miraculous, given that JHope and Jungkook could not practice with the group in the week leading up to the Grammys, and could only join the day before, and Jin was not involved in the choreo at all due to his surgery (his hand is in a cast, he broke a finger and required surgery to repair the tendons - as a nurse, I think he will require some physical rehab/occupational therapy once that cast comes off, to regain full use of his finger..). Joon did say that they were practicing this for a month before the show though. And don’t worry, I have been Army for seven years, and I think that Jimin and Suga look like they could be brothers - but you corrected yourself and got it right!! Jungkook was the one who came down from the ceiling (he is physically adventurous). V/Tae was sitting with Olivia Rodrigo. Jimin was wearing shades at the beginning. 💜💜
Only 2 is trained dancers, 2 is from underground rapting, 1 streetdancer, and Jungkook singer, so all have to learn to sing or dance or rap or all off theme. Jin the oldest came in as an actor to the company beacuse off his looks Ceo wanted him in the group so he had to learn to sing and dance beacuse he never did that before

@@QofyReacts You didn't notice the art in the back? The art that slowly began vanishing during the performance? The last picture vanished at the beginning of the dance break. Than we got graffiti, their tag and lyrics (I recognized "Fire" but there was another song, too... either "Dope" or "I need U" - I'm not sure). That was replaced with old photos of their "Most Beautifull Moments in Life" aera.
And their was actually something of with the lasers, too. Suga said he got hit multiple times because of it.
there is another layer to it, people said it's James Bond related but it also could go along with Oceans Eleven, they performed in Las Vegas which is known for Casinos which appear frequently in these films

They got the only standing ovation of the night, and their performance was ranked as the best by Billboard, especially considering how Billboard has a bad habit of being petty towards BTS, it really says they smashed the scene.
They really did sensation, and I'm glad that despite not winning the ARMYs they were able to focus on hyping their performance.
I don't think ARMYs are upset or anything with Doja Cat and SZA, who by the way also had an amazing year.
ARMYs are more pissed off at the Grammys for using BTS' notoriety for ratings and holding us hostage throughout the ceremony.
I won't go into details because it would take time, but know that this story between the Grammys, ARMYs and BTS has been going on for four years now, and it seems to continue.
Hopefully next year they won't be snubbed out of main categories like this year when they had the most successful year in the global industry.
And even with some ARMYs - me included - we think they will be nominated with a song in Korean next year. Let's hope it's the case, and that they continue to write history and push representation for Asians in the west.

I love this statement so much!!! Not even a hardcore army (new and basic fan) but can’t help but feel a little disappointed for them HOWEVER, they were the HIGHLIGHT of the night. They definitely got everyone’s attention and respect. No one right now can do what they do. Love what you said about Asian representation in the West. I can’t stop watching the guitar and jackets part!

The reason they lost is not because of tight competition, not because someone else deserve better. BTS blew away all competition. The Grammys members simply refused to vote for them. BTS are outsiders who are more suscessful than them. They can't let their rice bowl get disturbed further.

1. Jungkook has a solo song called Euphoria and in concerts he used to fly over the fans, and even years before at an 2016 award show he was also suspended on wires in the air. He is a huge adrenaline junky. So there was an inside ARMY joke everytime BTS perform that BTS is gonna fly on the stage. So imagine the absolute SHOCK that it actually happened... all ARMY memes came true hahahah
2. I don't know if you noticed but Jin had surgery on his fingers not long ago, which is why he was sitting most of the performance, but again: they are so good that people who dont know all 7 members dont even notice his cast and absence from the dance break. We are really grateful that he even attended the show. Jungkook and Jhope also both had covid and literally just got cleared. So a lot of us were nervous only 4 members would attend which we knew would make them upset since they hate being 'sick'
3. You got Jimin and Suga right! 🥳 Jimin and Suga sometimes have days where they are both wearing literally the same outfit so don't be too hard on yourself!
4. "Smooth like butter, like criminal undercover" it is so funny and cool they focused on this line and made the performance a heist, especially since they are in Las Vegas which in my mind also screams heist hahaha
5. Pictures on the back were mostly from HYYH era aka 'most beautiful moments in life' which is an album triology they released back in 2015-2016. Your House of cards song and perfromance was from that time and they like to put easter eggs to that time because there is a whole complicated storyline connected to HYYH, for a while there was talks of a kdrama coming out based on it, we even got actors casting, but then covid happened... so we dont know now
6. ARMYs aren't really that mad BTS didn't win. What ARMYs are pissed about is they used Butter for promo of their show, they used BTS and ARMY in all of their posts and promos too. They switched their category back into the main show KNOWING they won't win simply so we would watch it. They hyped only BTS, I didnt watch the show because it starts at 2am my time and I still have ZERO idea who even performed except BTS because all media attention is on them and not on actual winners and 'mainstream' artists. It is not a secret that BTS always does livestreams after American award shows and these livestreams usually have DOUBLE the views than the actual shows even tho we never know when they will happen and if they will actually do it. And this time we even crashed the app they always livestream on. So yeah. The only thing ARMY wants is some respect for BTS and for the media stop using them for views if they dont even plan to give them credit

Fact : Rolling stones have named BUTTER performance as 13th best performance of all time.
They were thinking only 4 members would be able to perform but thankfully other 2 recovered from COVID but Jin was hurt but still performed. Proud of him.
The theme was based on the "Smooth like butter, like a criminal undercover" lyrics. Because they are in Las Vegas the performance was inspired by heist movies like Ocean's 11 and Now You See Me. The screen at the back of the stage had images to make it look like they were in a museum, some of those picture were of BTS through the years.
Speaking of Ocean's 11, the Bellgio hotel fountain show ( which was shown at the end of the movie) is going to have BTS specific programs.
I think BTS ARMY weren't as upset this year as last year. What we were upset about the most last year was how the Grammy's treated BTS. This year, the Grammy's gave them a lot more respect by having the award during the actual main show, and having them perform at a more reasonable time, and not saying, "BTS will be up next", the whole three hours, when they were second to last performance.
BTS were happy this year, and while they were a little sad to have lost, they were just happy that the seven of them were able to be together on the Grammy Stage, and that they got to perform the new version of Butter, and see the other artists perform. They really enjoyed the show. When BTS is happy, ARMY is happy. Then we got to celebrate with them afterward on VLive. They always go online and celebrate with ARMY.
The big thing that ARMY's and BTS were happy about, was that Jungkook, and J Hope were recovered from COVID-19. They were diagnosed mid March to toward the end of March, and just recently cleared. Jin tore a ligament in his finger and had a cast on it after he had surgery, so he couldn't perform the whole dance, to minimize possibility of damage. They only had one day to practice the new choreography together as a group, since Hobi and JK were just released from their Quarantine.
Anyway, they will be having their 4 day, sold out concert, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, April 8, 9, 15, and 16. so ARMY's have that to look forward to. They will also have Live Play in the MGM Arena, where the Grammy's were held. And, they will live stream April 16th, Day 4 of the concert. I will be attending on the 15th for live play, and the 16th for the Concert. Sorry if my comment was too long. I just felt like explaining. 💜

I just gotta say I've just watched the Grammy performance of Butter and omg I loved the concept of them being being spies, the dance break was just wondering and jin did so well joining in on the last chorus eventho every tuny movement hurts his hand.
Also this performance to me must be my fav performance of Butter and I sure hope that their next comeback has a spy type concept and this performance had me speechless and just amazed.
Also every member was amazing and totally wrecked me.
A great and highly entertaining performance ( the best of the night) and the biggest kudos to the three knights in shining armor that needed to trooper through all odds, defeat Covid in 0 time, stay sane in quarantine, undergo surgery and to be able to make it just at the very last moment. Amazing Hobi, Jin and Kookie. The whole group slayed but I have never been prouder of those three. Their creative team is something incredible to be able to tailor Butter choreo to take all limitations and obstacles into account and come up with a flawless amazing new choreo that fits their individual needs ( Jin´s post surgery hand still in cast). Impressive.
I couldn´t care less for Grammys at this point, that enterprise stopped being relevant years back and their treatment of BTS has been questionable for years, but I am glad the guys were in good spirits and finally got the main stage Yoongi so wanted.
Rolling Stone just dubbed this performance the 13th best of ALL TIME at the Grammys and THE BEST of the night. :) V really through that card in the beginning and JK really caught it. They also were only able to rehearse it together ONCE before the show... they said in their Vlive last night that they think they did better in the rehearsal @_@
No, the card that V threw wasn’t caught by JK. There were fan cams from different angles that showed JK pull a card out of his jacket and hide it behind his back. But they sure pulled off making it look real just like they did with the hat trick 9 years ago!

The other guys commented as well saying that JK was really worried he wouldn't catch it since he hadn't been able to practice all week... that's a paraphrase. The production concept was a genius... since Jin's left hand was injured they innovate their production and it works perfectly amazing. 👏👏👏 They always delivers. We have heard Butter many times but they always make it exciting and something to look forward to every time.

I think it was quite tricky trying to dance, move around and sing on those uneven steps. Perhaps he was also feeling jetlag after arriving in Las Vegas the day before and they had been practising hard. The Bangtan Boys are always professional and have great showmanships.
Yeah, the irony. 😉 I noticed he suddenly popped out on the right and I thought he was going straight up the stairs and then turned back. Replayed and realised he almost fell. Towards the end when JK looks right at the camera while going down the stairs, he almost tripped as well. Thank goodness they were ok.

I love how the Grammys have no idea the level that BTS go to for non American Award Show's. That performance was smooooooth ok but we know what they can do at the MAMA's and the MMA's 2017 to 2022. They simply take them over. Those award shows with much much longer and bigger stage time and stage sets including having fire on stage on some of them. They know how to put on a show they've been doing it for 10years.
BTS is used to awards shows with thousands and thousands of people watching live, like the MMAs and with enormous stages. I suggest you check out "MMA 2019 BTS performance" (this one is the ONE) and MMA 2018 and you will see there's nothing like that here in west. 💜

2 years ago- top dup group performance was in the main award show. At this time BTS was not nominated.
Last year- BTS first nomination in the top duo group performance category and suddenly the award is pushed to the pre-show BUT BTS performance was one of the last performances of the MAIN show. Grammys wanted the viewership so kept at last.
This year- not only did they move this category to the main show but also announced it with last top categories again to keep the viewership to the end. And when doja won, they IMMEDIATELY switched their cameras showing BTS while doja was giving the speech to capture any little reaction to get clickbait headlines.
Looking at all this, it does look a bit suspicious the way they use BTS. Even on twitter they keep making tweets about BTS specifically to get engagements.

The Grammy need to re-evaluate their judging system. They are confused between a collab and Group/duo categories. Also, each year, the only give BTS one nomination and always put BTS last during the show. This year, they put their performance first and the announcement last. The Grammy has been using BTS for four years now and army know it.
I was trying to focus on group not Collab, but that's Grammys. Bts is a group not duo not Collab, so what is Grammy not much. I hope my boys get over the racial bias Grammys and move on. Bts is super global group, they don't need the Grammys, they need Army which they have. So no more Grammys, they are biased and declining in ratings. Bts will continue to break records, why Grammies are irrevelant!

Grammys has a very poor record when it comes to giving awards to non white artists. They are happy to use artists like BTS and Beyonce etc to pull in viewers but then only put them forward for lesser awards. There has been a whole thing about 'urban' music having it's own catagory when of course all genres should come under the 'best song/album' umbrella. BTS are very humble and used the experience to meet their favourite artists and learn from them..... and that's why they are who they are. Army is just happy if they are happy. We will support them if they want it but tbh we don't really value the Grammys because we know that the deck is stacked against BTS (and many other amazing artists too).

Definitely an amazing performance. From Army’s perspective, we also understand that Jungkook (JK), just passed 7 days of his Covid diagnosis, and was cleared on Friday, that he was no longer contagious. J-Hope was just cleared a few days ago from Covid and just arrived in LV from Korea, on Saturday, Jin is recovering from hand surgery, and they practiced this just once before the performance.
They are amazing and always put in 100%. 💜💜💜💜💜

I do slightly disagree. The song from Doja and SZA did deserve a win but not in this particular category. This category is a duo/group and Doja and Sza did only collaborate, more the song is from Doja ft. SZA. I would be even happy if Coldplay did win as both them and BTS are a permanent group/band.
I do not think it is ok to put 2 people who collaborate/feature with permanent groups/bands/duos in this category. For me a duo is someone like Dan and Shay or Pet Shop Boys or Simon and Garfunkel or The Chainsmokers or Wham! or Outkast or Great Big World. 3 out of the 5 nominees in this category is collaboration. Grammy should make then a new category if they want so much to give the awards to artist who collaborate and not to the actual artist who really represent the category.

If you thought JK's entrance was something... he was up there for a while as they gave out an award prior to their performance. Jimin text him and they all kept an eye on him to make sure he was fine. He just recovered 2 days prior from sickness. Of course, he was strapped in. Like I mentioned before... they always do things for a reason. The art disappears/heist and is replaced with foreshadowing of the new album coming out this year. And, Snoop dog will be doing a song with them and possibly Michael Buble whose album is in the Tiny Desk video where Jimin is singing. Everything is for a reason with these guys... I love it. Now Jhope just flew in the day prior for this performance and was only able to practice with them twice he too recovered from Covid. They had a lot of pressure on them as they where the highlight of the show and the Grammys of course used them for their ratings, Grammy people were concerned that all the boys wouldn't be able to perform and went out of their way to do whatever they wanted... ratings, you know. BTS thought they would get a Grammy for all the hoopla put up about them being there... but they lost again and BTS will probably not perform or show up again for them just for ratings of the show.

That jacket trick took a lot of practice and was risky because they can get their jackets entangled. They showed the behind-the-scenes for that in another video.
Yeah, this was an epic performance of Butter. As performers, BTS blow every other act out of the water imo, they are so professional, so polished, no one else comes close. And this performance was almost miraculous, given that JHope and Jungkook could not practice with the group in the week leading up to the Grammys, and could only join the day before, and Jin was not involved in the choreo at all due to his surgery (his hand is in a cast, he broke a finger and required surgery to repair the tendons - as a nurse, I think he will require some physical rehab/occupational therapy once that cast comes off, to regain full use of his finger..). Joon did say that they were practicing this for a month before the show though.
And don’t worry, I have been Army for seven years, and I think that Jimin and Suga look like they could be brothers - but you corrected yourself and got it right!! Jungkook was the one who came down from the ceiling (he is physically adventurous). V/Tae was sitting with Olivia Rodrigo. Jimin was wearing shades at the beginning.

Only 2 is trained dancers, 2 is from underground rapting, 1 streetdancer, and Jungkook singer, so all have to learn to sing or dance or rap or all off theme. Jin the oldest came in as an actor to the company beacuse off his looks Ceo wanted him in the group so he had to learn to sing and dance beacuse he never did that before
